North Warren Central School

Chestertown is a hamlet of the town of Chester, in Warren County, New York, United States. It is located by the junction of Route 8 and U.S. Route 9, in the Adirondack Mountains. The population was 586 at the 2020 census, which lists the community as a census-designated place.

It includes the Fowler Homestead and related outbuildings, the Church of the Good Shepherd (1884, addition 1954), Chester Town Hall, the Fowler cemetery, and centennial monument (1913). The Fowler Homestead is a Greek Revival style home constructed in the mid-1840s. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
