The Cathedral of Saint Peter is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Kansas City, Kansas, United States and is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas.

Wyandotte High School is a fully accredited public high school located in Kansas City, Kansas, United States. It serves students in grades 9 to 12 and operated by the Kansas City USD 500 school district. The building itself is a historic and notable public building, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The school principal is Mary Stewart. The mascot is the Bulldog and the school colors are red and white.

Fire Station No. 9 was located at 2 South 14th Street in Kansas City, Kansas. Designed by William E. Harris, it was declared a Kansas City, Kansas Historic Landmark on June 16, 1983. The fire station was placed on the Register of Historic Kansas Places on July 3, 1979, and the National Register of Historic Places on September 5, 1985. It has also been known as the Prescott Neighborhood Center. The building is currently owned and occupied by Community Housing of Wyandotte County. The new Fire Station No. 9 is located at 1100 Central Ave. in Kansas City, Kansas.

Kansas State School for the Blind (KSSB) is a fully accredited public high school located in Kansas City, Kansas, U.S., serving students in grades Pre-K through 12. The school was established in 1867. It is located on 10 acres (40,000 m2) located in downtown Kansas City, Kansas. It opened its doors in May, 1868 and admitted the first five students.

The Granada Theater is a grand movie palace in Kansas City's historic downtown in Wyandotte County, Kansas. The theater is designed in the Mission style with Spanish and Moorish influences.: 5  Dominating the facade is a large Palladian window, flanked by terracotta pieces. Below the window is the main entrance, which centers on a glass ticket booth. The eastern and western ends of the facade's first floor are occupied by small storefronts.: 6 

The Kansas City Athletic Club is an athletic club and gentlemen's club in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Notable members have included President Harry S. Truman and others.

The Kansas City, Kansas City Hall and Fire Headquarters is a pair of buildings at 805 and 815 N. Sixth St. in Kansas City, Kansas. The buildings are also known as Old City Hall and Main Fire Station. They were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.The city hall portion was designed in the Renaissance Revival style by architects William W. Rose and David B. Peterson, of Rose & Peterson, and built in 1910-1911. It is five stories tall, upon a high basement, though only four stories can usually be seen from street level. The fifth floor is a penthouse level holding a jail.The Fire Headquarters portion was designed by Charles E. Keyser, also in the Renaissance Revival style, and built as an annex to the city hall in 1929-1930. It is two stories tall, also with a high basement. The basement included offices which housed the Kansas Film Censor Board for many years.

The Kansas City, Kansas High School Gymnasium and Laboratory, at 1017 N. 9th St. in Kansas City, Kansas, was built in 1923. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.It was designed by architects William Warren Rose and David B. Peterson of Rose & Peterson. It has elements of Renaissance Revival style.

The A. Porter Davis Residence, also known as Castle Rock, is a historic house located at 852 Washington Boulevard in Kansas City, Kansas. The house was built in 1938 for Dr. A. Porter Davis, a prominent African-American physician. Davis began practicing medicine in Kansas City in 1913; as he could speak Spanish, he mainly focused on serving Mexican immigrants at first. In 1920, Davis founded a maternity hospital for unwed African-American women, a badly underserved patient population due to racial segregation. Davis later held several public health positions in Wyandotte County and became president of the National Medical Association in 1953. In addition to his medical career, Davis was one of the first African-Americans to obtain a pilot's license.Architect Raymond J. Buschhusen designed the French Eclectic style house. The two-story house has an "L"-shaped plan and was built from rusticated limestone. A conical tower tops the front entrance, a key feature of the style. The second floor has several projecting wall dormers with steel casement windows.The house was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on February 18, 2000. It is also listed on the Register of Historic Kansas Places and is a Kansas City, Kansas Historic Landmark.

Sumner Academy of Arts and Science is a nationally ranked magnet school in Kansas City, Kansas which prepares students for high-level academic and creative pursuits. Named for abolitionist Charles Sumner, it started in 1905 during a period of racial tension as a segregated school for black ("Negro") students, which offered vocational training, but emphasized college-preparatory training. Located at 1610 N. 8th Street, the current architecturally significant complex began with its Art Deco core in 1937, but has been repeatedly expanded. The segregated Sumner High School closed in 1978, converting at that time to its present high-challenge magnet program.

Memorial Hall, or Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Building, is a multi-purpose auditorium located in Kansas City, Kansas. The 3,500-seat auditorium, which has a permanent stage, is used for public assemblies, concerts and sporting events. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. It was designed by architects Rose & Peterson in Georgian style.

The Wyandotte County Courthouse, located at 710 N. 7th St. in Kansas City, Kansas, is a courthouse which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.It was designed in Classical Revival style by architects Wight and Wight, and was built by contractor Godfrey Swensen.
