The Moerputten Bridge is a former railway bridge near the Dutch city 's-Hertogenbosch. It spans the peat lake 'Lange Putten'.

Bokhoven is a village in the Netherlands, in the municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch. It is located about seven kilometres northwest of the city center, on the south bank of the river Maas.

Vlijmen is a town in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Heusden, about 6 km west of 's-Hertogenbosch.Vlijmen was a separate municipality between 1821 and 1997. It was created from part of the former municipality Vlijmen en Engelen. After Haarsteeg and Nieuwkuijk were added to it in 1935, Vlijmen as municipality ceased to exist when it became part of Heusden in 1997.

Bokhoven Castle was a big defendable castle in Bokhoven, the Netherlands. A moat and part of the northern wall of the outer bailey are all that reminds of the castle.

Engelen is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is part of the municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch.

The Dieze is a short river in North Brabant, the Netherlands, tributary of the Meuse (Maas). It is formed by the confluence of the rivers Aa and Dommel in 's-Hertogenbosch. The part of the Dieze in the centre of 's-Hertogenbosch is called Binnendieze, a partly covered network of canals. The Dieze flows into the Meuse near Hedel.

Deuteren is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch, about 2 km west of the city centre. According to the 19th-century historian A.J. van der Aa, this hamlet was the location of the first Reformed preaching in the area in 1566, by Cornelis van Diest. In the siege of 's-Hertogenbosch in 1629, Deuteren was the location of the headquarters of colonel Pinsen. The hamlet suffered a lot of damage in the year 1757 by high water and ice shelves. Formerly, the hamlet was divided into two parts: Groot-Deuteren (the current hamlet) and Klein-Deuteren, about 1 km to the northeast. The latter part had shrunk to only one house in the middle of the 19th century; nowadays, a suburb of 's-Hertogenbosch covers the area of Klein-Deuteren. Deuteren was a part of the municipality of Cromvoirt until that municipality merged with Vught; at that time, Deuteren became a part of 's-Hertogenbosch.

Californië (Dutch for California) is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Maasdriel, between the villages Ammerzoden and Hedel.It was first mentioned in 1867 as Californië, and is a reference to an inn which existed after 1852. In 1945, the hamlet was named after the inn. It is not a statistical entity, and the postal authorities have split it in Ammerzoden and Hedel. In February 2022, the hamlet received place name signs. It consists of about 25 houses.

Cromvoirt is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Vught.

Ammersoyen Castle (Dutch: Kasteel Ammersoyen) is located in Ammerzoden in the Bommelerwaard region in the province of Gelderland, the Netherlands. When the original construction of the castle occurred is unclear; some sources claim it was as early as the 12th century. However, the consensus among historians is that the Van Herlaer family completed the castle in the 1350s. At the time of its construction, the castle was built along a branch of the river Maas. Just a few years after the construction of the castle was completed, the river was rerouted leaving the castle to be surrounded by a moat.

Hedel (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɦeːdəl]) is a town in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Maasdriel, and lies about 7 km northwest of 's-Hertogenbosch. Hedel was a separate municipality until 1999, when it was merged with Maasdriel.In World War II, there were a lot of fights in Hedel, especially during the month April 1945 when the armies of the Princess Irene Brigade came to liberate the town. Hedel has a very strategic location, it lies on the border of Gelderland and North Brabant and on the Maas. Almost the whole town of Hedel was destroyed during World War II. A monument to 12 members of the Princess Irene Brigade killed between April 23rd and April 26th, 1945 was erected in Hedel.Hedel has its own harbour named 't Stik. There is also an excavation of the castle of Hedel. The excavations lie in the Historic Museum in Hedel. A clock Museum and a mini-zoo with snowy owls, goats, pheasants, parrots, chickens, ducks and other animals can also be found in Hedel. Hedel has got a Reformed and a catholic church. The reformed church was built in 1640, but it was destroyed during World War II and rebuilt in the original style several years later. On the first Monday of November after 1 November, there is a horse market. This is the biggest horse market in the Netherlands and one of the biggest horse markets in Europe.

The Jeroen Bosch Hospital Jeroen Bosch Ziekenhuis or JBZ, is a general hospital in 's-Hertogenbosch. The building at the current location on the Henri Dunantlaan was opened in 2011.
