Rovato

Coccaglio (Brescian: Cocài) is a town and comune in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy, Italy. It is approximately 32 kilometres (20 mi) west of Brescia and 35 kilometres (22 mi) southeast of Bergamo. The town is situated under the Monte Orfano, a lone hill in the midst of the Pianura Padana. It was the birthplace, in 1553, of Luca Marenzio, one of the most influential composers of madrigals of the late 16th century. The church of Santa Maria Nascente is the town's main church.

Rovato (Italian: Stazione di Rovato) is a railway station serving the town of Rovato, in the region of Lombardy, northern Italy. The station opened on 5 March 1878 and is located on the Milan–Venice railway and Bergamo–Brescia railway. The train services are operated by Trenord. The Cremona–Iseo railway passes just north of the station, calling at a separate station Rovato Borgo railway station, before joining the main Milan–Venice railway east of the station. It is on this railway that there is a station close to the centre of Rovato, Rovato Citta railway station.

Rovato Borgo (Italian: Stazione di Rovato Borgo) is a railway station serving the town of Rovato, in the region of Lombardy, northern Italy. The station opened in 1911 and is located on the Cremona-Iseo railway line. Train services are operated by the Italian railway company Trenord. The Milan–Venice railway and Bergamo–Brescia railway pass just south of the station, calling at the main Rovato station.

Cologne (Brescian: Culogne) is a town and commune in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. Cologne is located in Franciacorta at the foot of Monte Orfano. Neighbouring communes are Coccaglio, Erbusco, Palazzolo sull'Oglio and Chiari.

Porsche Experience Center Franciacorta is a 2.519 km (1.565 mi) race track located in the homonymous area of Franciacorta from which it takes its name, in Castrezzato in the province of Brescia. The racetrack has received homologation from the FIA for motor racing competitions and from the FMI for motorcycling ones. The circuit was inaugurated in 2006. The track hosted the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series from 2017 through 2019. In November 2019, the circuit was bought by Porsche and the circuit's name was changed as Porsche Experience Center Franciacorta in September 2021.

Adro (Brescian: Àder) is a town and comune in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy, with a traditional wine-growing vocation favored by its position in the Franciacorta area (northern Italy).

The Battle of Chiari was fought on 1 September 1701 during the War of the Spanish Succession. The engagement was part of Prince Eugene of Savoy's campaign to seize the Spanish controlled Duchy of Milan in the Italian peninsula, and had followed his victory over Marshal Catinat at the Battle of Carpi in July. Marshal Villeroi replaced Catinat as commander of the Franco–Spanish–Savoyard forces in the theatre, carrying with him orders from King Louis XIV to push the Imperialists out of Italy. Foreseeing Villeroi's intention of attacking at any price, Eugene entrenched himself in front of the small fortress of Chiari, and waited for the attack. In a battle that lasted several hours the Austrians inflicted heavy casualties on Villeroi's forces, gaining an overwhelming victory. The victory in the campaign established Eugene in Lombardy, and helped to persuade the Maritime Powers to come to the aid of the Emperor. Within a week of the battle England, the Dutch Republic, and Leopold I had signed the second treaty of the Grand Alliance.

Santi Faustino e Giovita is the main Roman Catholic church or Duomo, and serves as cathedral for the town of Chiari, region of Lombardy, Italy. It is located on Piazza Zanardelli. Initially built in the 16th century, it underwent a number of reconstructions. The church contains sculptures by Antonio Calegari, and paintings by Pietro Ricchi, and a "Pietà dei celesti" by Pompeo Batoni.The crypt putatively has the relics of Saint Agape.

Chiari (Lombard: Ciare) is a comune in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy, Italy. The 1701 Battle of Chiari was fought here during the War of the Spanish Succession. The town is the birthplace of Isidoro Chiari and Stefano Antonio Morcelli. The main church or duomo is the church of Santi Faustino e Giovita.
