Sydney Girls High School (abbreviated as SGHS or Sydney Girls) is a government-funded single-sex academically selective secondary day school located at Moore Park, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1883 and operated by the New South Wales Department of Education and Communities, as a school within the Port Jackson Education Area of the Sydney Region, the school has approximately 940 students from Years 7 to 12 and is situated adjacent to its "brother school", Sydney Boys High School. Sydney Girls High School NSW Rankings by ATAR: 4th in 2007, 2008 and 2009, 5th in 2010, 6th in 2011, 4th in 2012, 6th in 2013, 4th in 2014, 3rd in 2015, 13th in 2016, 4th in 2017 and 4th in 2018. It ranked 2nd best based on HSC results overall for girls' high schools in NSW in 2019.

The Tap Gallery is an art gallery, exhibition centre and arts and drama venue at 1/259 Riley St in Sydney, Australia. Aside from hosting art exhibitions it is also known for hosting plays and drawing classes. Brett C. Leonard's play Roger and Vanessa was put on at the Tap Gallery.

Sydney Boys High School (”SBHS”), otherwise known as The Sydney High School (“SHS”) or High, is a government-funded single-sex academically selective secondary day school for boys, located at Moore Park, New South Wales, a suburb within the City of Sydney council, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1883 and operated by the New South Wales Department of Education, as a school within the Port Jackson Education Area of the Sydney Region, the school has approximately 1,200 students from Year 7 to Year 12 — a number greater than most, if not all, other selective state schools — and is situated adjacent to its "sister school", Sydney Girls' High School. The school is a member of the Athletic Association of the Great Public Schools of New South Wales (AAGPS).Sydney Boys High School is an academically selective high school conducted by the NSW Department of Education. The school was moved to its current site at Moore Park in 1928. The school is bounded by Moore Park, Anzac Parade, Sydney Girls High School and Cleveland Street. The school regularly ranks highly among schools in New South Wales in terms of academic achievement, ranking 5th in the state in the 2017 Higher School Certificate, and has produced numerous notable alumni, or "Old Boys".

Resch's is a brand of beer produced by Carlton and United Breweries, available in New South Wales, Australia. It was also the name of the Sydney brewing company who produced the beer brand and were based in Redfern until taken over by Tooth and Co. in 1929.

Resch's Limited was an Australian brewing company. It was incorporated in July 1906 to manage the brewing interests of German immigrant Edmund Resch, who had owned regional breweries before buying out Sydney brewer Allt's and then building his own brewery. It operated the "Waverley Brewery" in the Sydney suburb of Waterloo. Resch operated the company until his death in 1923, after which time it was operated by his sons. In July 1929, Tooth and Co. purchased the company's assets for approximately £2,500,000 and it was placed into voluntary liquidation. Their brand continues in 2018 as Resch's, now owned by Carlton and United Breweries.As with other Australian breweries, it also owned a series of hotels, with the Royal George Hotel in the Sydney central business district and the Australian Hotel and Orient Hotel in The Rocks among the notable hotels formerly owned by the company.

Hordern Pavilion is a building located in Moore Park, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on the grounds of the old Sydney Showground. "The Hordern", as it is affectionally known by Sydneysiders, has been an architecturally and socially significant Sydney landmark since its construction in 1924. Now best known as a dance party and rock concert venue, the Hordern Pavilion was originally constructed for the Royal Agricultural Society of New South Wales to meet the increasing demands for exhibition space at the Royal Easter Show.

Tramway Oval, also known as Lakeside Oval, is a multi-purpose public sports ground located in Moore Park, a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales. The oval is a premium sports facility in the Centennial Parklands, located immediately west of the Sydney Cricket Ground and south of Kippax Lake on an approximately semicircular grassy wedge between Driver Avenue and the CBD and South East Light Rail which runs along Anzac Parade. Tramway Oval is primarily used as a training ground for professional clubs who use the nearby Sydney Cricket Ground and Sydney Football Stadium, particularly the Sydney Swans Australian rules football club (including its junior academy) and the New South Wales Waratahs rugby union club. Spectator facilities at the venue are minimal. The construction of the light rail along Anzac Parade in the mid-2010s reduced the width of the oval to only 101m wide, well short of the minimum width for an Australian rules football oval. A redevelopment of the surface finishing in 2019 saw its size increased to match that of Melbourne's Docklands Stadium, and made the venue suitable for state level Australian rules football. The Sydney Swans reserves team now plays its competitive matches in the Victorian Football League (and previously in the North East Australian Football League) on the ground.

The Entertainment Quarter sits beside Fox Studios Australia in the suburb of Moore Park, located 3 kilometres south-east of the Sydney central business district, and is part of local government area of the City of Sydney.

Highbury is a heritage-listed residence located at 20 Martin Road in the inner eastern Sydney suburb of Centennial Park in the City of Sydney local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by William Nixon and built from 1912 to 1913. Highbury was the home of Australian novelist Patrick White for approximately twenty-six years, until his death in 1990. It is also known as the Patrick White House; Patrick White's House. The property is privately owned. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 19 November 2004.Patrick White moved into Highbury in 1964 and lived there with his partner, Manoly Lascaris, after leaving his home in the suburb of Castle Hill. The house and the environs of Centennial Park became significant elements in White's novels. White and Lascaris were socially active and hosted many dinner parties in the house. White's biographer, David Marr, described White as a genial host. Following White's death in 1990, the house was listed on the New South Wales State Heritage Register due to its association with White, who was the first Australian to win the Nobel Prize for Literature. Lascaris continued to live in the house almost until he died in 2003.

The Albert Cotter Bridge, also known as the Tibby Cotter bridge, is a pedestrian bridge across Anzac Parade, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was built to primarily to cater for crowds exiting the Sydney Cricket Ground and Sydney Football Stadium.

The Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) is a sports stadium in Sydney, Australia. It is used for Test, One Day International and Twenty20 cricket, as well as, Australian rules football and occasionally for rugby league, rugby union and association football. It is the home ground for the New South Wales Blues cricket team, the Sydney Sixers of the Big Bash League and the Sydney Swans of the Australian Football League. It is owned and operated by the Venues NSW, who also hold responsibility for the Sydney Football Stadium.
