Coleshill, Warwickshire

The Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, often referred to as Coleshill Parish Church, is the parish church of Coleshill, Warwickshire, England. The church is a Grade I listed building.

North Warwickshire is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2015 by Craig Tracey, a Conservative.Under the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, the constituency will be unchanged, but is to be renamed North Warwickshire and Bedworth - to be first contested at the next general election.

Grimstock Hill, located north of the River Cole in Coleshill, Warwickshire, was the site of a Romano-British settlement discovered in 1978. The site included a temple complex with evidence of a circular wooden Iron Age temple, later replaced by a stone-built temples of the Roman period, developed in two phases. A settlement extending at least 450 metres (1,480 ft) was excavated to the south, with evidence including a bathhouse, ovens, ditches and walls.

Coleshill Parkway is a railway station at Hams Hall on the Birmingham to Peterborough railway line, serving Coleshill in Warwickshire, England. Sitting on the site of the former Coleshill station which closed in 1968, the current station was opened in 2007. Unusually it is not owned by Network Rail. It is managed by West Midlands Trains train operating company (TOC) although all rail services are operated by CrossCountry.

Gilson is a hamlet in the civil parish of Coleshill, in the North Warwickshire district of Warwickshire, England. It lies between the M42 and the A446, on the B4117 road between the village of Water Orton and the small market town of Coleshill.

Blyth Hall is a privately owned mansion house on the banks of the River Blythe situated near Shustoke, Warwickshire. It is a Grade I listed building. The estate was purchased in 1625 by Sir William Dugdale, a prominent antiquarian, who shortly thereafter built himself a new house on the site. In about 1690–1700 the house was substantially enlarged and improved with a twelve-bay brick façade with two storeys and additional upper dormers. In the 18th century Jane Dugdale, sole heiress of Blyth, married Richard Geast of Handsworth. Their son, also Richard Geast, married Penelope Stratford, heiress of neighbouring Merivale Hall in 1767. He inherited Blyth from his maternal uncle John Dugdale and changed his name to Dugdale in 1799. Later Dugdales became Dugdale baronets of Blyth and Merevale. The Dugdale family is still in residence at Blyth Hall, which is not open to the public.

Maxstoke railway station was a railway station opened in 1839 as Coleshill by the Birmingham and Derby Junction Railway on its original route from Derby to Hampton-in-Arden meeting the London and Birmingham Railway for London. The station served the village of Maxstoke and town of Coleshill in Warwickshire, England.

Blythe End is a hamlet in the North Warwickshire district of Warwickshire, England. Blythe End is halfway between Coleshill (where the population details can be found) and Shustoke on the B4114 road (the former A47 Birmingham to Nuneaton road). There are a few houses, an old mill and a water works. The most famous building is Blyth Hall, built by Sir William Dugdale in the 17th century, but with 18th-century additions. It is still the family home. Sir William Dugdale was born at Shustoke. He recorded the nearby Blythe Bridge, which carries the road over the River Blythe, as dating from 1439.
