Capitol Hill is a neighborhood of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It was originally a separate city that was established in 1905, merging with its larger neighbor (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) in 1911. The neighborhood is located just south of downtown Oklahoma City on the North Canadian River.The Capitol Hill Urban Design District is an area designated in 1996 by Oklahoma City to try to maintain the existing historic, architectural and visual character of an area, while at the same time encouraging compatible, quality, new development. In 1997, Capitol Hill became an official Main Street community and today the district enjoys a rich multi-cultural quality Despite its name, Capitol Hill is a historic business and entertainment district in south Oklahoma City and should not be confused with the capitol campus, which is centered at N. Lincoln Blvd and E. 23rd Street where the state capitol building (of Oklahoma) and other government agencies reside.

Capitol Hill High School (CHHS) is a public high school in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It is part of the Oklahoma City Public Schools. The high school has recorded a significant history with noteworthy success in interscholastic sports activities. Jack Van Pool played quarterback at the school and led it to a 12-0 season and state championship before becoming an Oklahoma Sooner and then joining the U.S. Army. Orville Moody was also an alumnus.Rockabilly singer Wanda Jackson graduated from the school. Elmer Mulhausen wrote about his experiences at the school.U.S. News reported the student body to be 73 percent Hispanic, 11 percent African American and 10 percent white.In 1945, its yearbook was known as 'Chieftain.'

Oklahoma City Union Depot is a building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma that served as a "union station" from 1931 until 1967. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It now houses the main office of the Central Oklahoma Transportation & Parking Authority.

Lightning Creek is a waterway in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Much of the city's Southside lies within its watershed. It is a tributary of the Oklahoma River. The stream begins as a drainage canal near S.W. 86th Street and Villa Avenue. The creek flows generally north, draining into the Oklahoma River near S.E. 15th Street and Santa Fe. Several city parks are located along the stream, including Lightning Creek Park where the creek crosses under Western Avenue, Draper Park between S.W. 44th Street and Grand Boulevard, and Oliver Park between Grand Boulevard and S.W. 29th Street. The Lightning Creek basin experienced major flash flooding beginning on July 6, 2010, and continuing through July 8, as a result of the remnants of Hurricane Alex. On July 6, 13-year-old Gerardo Canales was playing near the creek and was swept away by the flood. His body was found two miles (3.2 km) from where he entered the creek.

Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is an Omni Hotel in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It opened on January 26th, 2021, and was the first Omni Hotel in Oklahoma. The hotel has 17 floors, 605 guest rooms, 76,000 square feet of meeting space, a full-service spa, a fitness center, and a rooftop pool. The meeting space/ballrooms allow for up to 200 guests. The hotel is in Downtown Oklahoma City near Chesapeake Energy Arena and Scissortail Park, which can be seen from Omni’s suites.

Oklahoma City Stadium is a planned Multi-purpose stadium to be constructed in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma that will be home to OKC Energy FC of the USL Championship. Projected to have a capacity of 10,000, its opening is planned for spring 2028. It will be owned by the city of Oklahoma City.

KOCY-LD (channel 48) is a low-power television station in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States, affiliated with the Spanish-language Estrella TV network. It is owned by locally based Tyler Media Group alongside Woodward-licensed Univision affiliate KUOK (channel 36) and Shawnee-licensed Telemundo affiliate KTUZ-TV (channel 30). The three stations share studios near Southeast 51st Street and Shields Boulevard in southern Oklahoma City, where KOCY-LD's transmitter is also located. Even though KOCY-LD broadcasts a digital signal of its own, its broadcast radius only covers the immediate Oklahoma City area. Therefore, in order to extend its reach, KOCY-LD is simulcast in high definition on the third digital subchannel of KTUZ-TV (UHF channel 29.5, mapped as virtual channel 48.1) from its transmitter near 86th Street and Ridgeway Road (south of Britton Road) in northeast Oklahoma City.

Paycom Center (originally known as the Ford Center from 2002 to 2010, Oklahoma City Arena from 2010 to 2011, and Chesapeake Energy Arena from 2011 to 2021) is an arena located in Downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States. It opened in 2002 and since 2008 has served as the home venue for the National Basketball Association (NBA)'s Oklahoma City Thunder. Previously, the arena was home to the Oklahoma City Blazers of the Central Hockey League (CHL) from 2002 until the team folded in July 2009, and the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz of AF2 from 2004 to 2009 when the team moved to the Prairie Surf Studios. In addition to its use as a sports venue, Paycom Arena hosts concerts, family and social events, conventions, ice shows, and civic events. The arena is owned by the city and operated by the SMG property management company and has 18,203 seats in the basketball configuration, 15,152 for hockey, and can seat up to 16,591 for concerts.From 2005 to 2007, the arena also served as the temporary home for the New Orleans Hornets of the NBA when the Hornets were forced to play games elsewhere following extensive damage to New Orleans Arena and the city of New Orleans from Hurricane Katrina. During the two seasons in Oklahoma City, the team was known as the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets. The response from fans while the Hornets played in Oklahoma City was an impetus to the city being discussed prior to 2008 for the location of a future NBA team, either by relocation or expansion.

The Oklahoma City Boulevard (also known as the Crosstown Boulevard) is a partially completed urban thoroughfare in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, US. The highway is intended to make use of the former right-of-way of Interstate 40 (I-40), which was relocated to the south along a former rail alignment due to increased traffic and visible wear on parts of the freeway. The $85 million project began construction in 2011 and is being built by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) with funds from the US Department of Transportation.

The Myriad Botanical Gardens is a 17-acre (69,000 m2) botanical garden and interactive urban park located in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on the southwest corner of Reno and Robinson. The Gardens is home to multiple tiers of densely landscaped areas that surround a sunken lake. Its primary feature is the Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory - a 224-foot (68 m) living plant museum featuring towering palm trees, tropical plants and flowers, waterfalls, and exotic animals.
