The Mississippi Aviation Heritage Museum is an aviation museum in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Grass Lawn, also known as the Milner House, was a two-story Antebellum home located in Gulfport, Harrison County, Mississippi. In 1972, the home was added to the National Register of Historic Places. In 2005, the home was destroyed during Hurricane Katrina. A replica of Grass Lawn, Grasslawn II, was built and was designated a Mississippi Landmark in 2010. The new structure was dedicated in 2012 for use in city events, weddings, receptions, and parties.

Gulfport Veterans Administration Medical Center Historic District, also known as Centennial Plaza, is a 48-acre (19 ha) compound located in Gulfport, Mississippi. The facility operated as a medical center under the Veterans Administration from the 1920s until 2005, when damage from Hurricane Katrina resulted in its closure. The property was designated a Mississippi Landmark in 2010 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Gulfport Army Air Field Hangar, also known as FBO Hangar and Gulfport Municipal Airport Terminal, was constructed in 1944-45 for use in training combat crews to operate the B-29 Superfortress. Located in Gulfport, Mississippi, the hangar was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2011, and was designated a Mississippi Landmark in 2012.

It is owned by the Gulfport–Biloxi Regional Airport Authority and serves the Gulf Coast area. This airport is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a primary commercial service airport (more than 10,000 enplanements per year). As per Federal Aviation Administration records, the airport had 487,907 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2008; 411,978 enplanements in 2009; and 325,437 emplacements in 2014. Despite its title, all regularly scheduled commercial passenger flights at the airport are domestic flights only.

Gulfport Combat Readiness Training Center is a United States Air Force training center, located at Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport, Mississippi. It is located 5 miles (8.0 km) north-northeast of Gulfport, Mississippi.

Mississippi City is an unincorporated community in Harrison County, Mississippi, United States. It is part of the Gulfport–Biloxi, Mississippi Metropolitan Statistical Area. The community was annexed by Gulfport, Mississippi in 1965.

Old Gulfport High School, located at 2010 15th Street, in Gulfport, Mississippi, is a two-story, brick building that was used as a public school from the 1920s until the latter half of the 20th century. The structure was designed in Tudor architectural style by architect Noah Webster Overstreet and was built in 1923 by Algernon Blair Construction Company The building complex was designated a Mississippi Landmark in 1999. Having stood vacant for a number of years, the old high school building and grounds were selected by the General Services Administration in 2000 as the site for construction of the Dan M. Russell Jr. United States Courthouse. Included in the construction of the federal courthouse was the renovation of the old high school building for use as a federal court office complex by the U.S. Attorney and probation officers. Renovation was completed in 2003, and the old high school was designated the Dan M. Russell Jr. Courthouse Annex. A multi-modal transportation center was constructed on the site of the former Gulfport High School Administration property, just south of the old high school.

Gulfport High School (GHS) is a public high school located in Gulfport, Mississippi, United States. It is part of the Gulfport School District. In 2019, Gulfport High was given a B-rating from the Mississippi Statewide Accountability System. The mascot is the Admiral. School colors are royal blue, orange, and white. The helmet insignia is a replica of the Green Bay Packers' "G."

The Dan M. Russell Jr. United States Courthouse is a 6.7-acre (2.7 ha) complex located in Gulfport, Mississippi to serve the Southern District of Mississippi. The courthouse tower was named in honor of United States district judge Dan M. Russell Jr. (b. 1913 – d. 2011). The complex includes the 8-story Dan M. Russell Courthouse and the adjacent 1923 Gulfport High School that was renovated to serve as judicial offices.
