Charing Cross is a heritage-listed former homestead and former pre-school and now house and childcare centre at 11 Victoria Street, Queens Park, Waverley Municipality, New South Wales, Australia. It was built during 1860 and was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Queens Park is a small suburb in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia, located approximately 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) from the Sydney central business district. Located north of Queen's Park (with an apostrophe), an urban park that forms part of the Centennial Parklands, the suburb is located in the local government area of Waverley Council.

St Clare's College is an independent Roman Catholic single-sex secondary day school for girls, located in Waverley, in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1884 by the Poor Clare Sisters, St Clare's has a non-selective enrolment policy and currently caters for approximately 500 girls from Year 7 to Year 12. The college is located within the Archdiocese of Sydney, and is affiliated with the Catholic Girls Secondary Schools Sporting Association (CGSSSA) and is a member of the Association of Heads of Independent Girls' Schools (AHIGS).

St Mary's Anglican Church is a heritage-listed Anglican church and associated facilities located at 240 Birrell Street, Waverley, in the Waverley Municipality, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The church was designed by Edmund Blacket and built between 1863 and 1864. It is very well known and sought after as a place to be married and is popular for funerals. The building is also notable due its pipe organ, designed and built by August Gern. The property is used for ministry by the Anglican Parish of Bondi and Waverley, which is an amalgamation of two previous Parishes (Bondi, Waverley); The first Rector of St Mary’s Waverley, Rev Stanley Mitchell, was a keen Evangelical and although he used traditional Anglican liturgy was “low church” like most of Sydney Diocese. However there has been a long history of more “High” Anglicanism and Anglo Catholic theological underpinnings. Since 2014, the church has returned to a strongly evangelical base while running a very strong traditional 1662 prayer book communion service every Sunday. It also has less traditional al services to accommodate more contemporary congregations. This Parish is part of the Anglican Diocese of Sydney. it has another site at Bondi Beach, on Wairoa Avenue, where a number of contemporary congregations are run. The St Mary’s site was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Eastern Suburbs Leagues Club, or 'easts' as it is now known, is a licensed club that was established in 1961 with the purpose of raising revenue to support and promote the Eastern Suburbs District Rugby League Football Club and rugby league within the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, Australia. The club describes itself as "the home of the Sydney Roosters". Since its establishment it has progressed on to become one of the larger leagues clubs in comparison to others supporting teams in the National Rugby League competition. The primary clubhouse of the Easts Group, is located at Bondi Junction in Sydney's east, operating on the same site continuously since 1967. The Easts Group also owns licensed premises at Waverley and Kingswood in Sydney, and Berkeley in the Illawarra.

Waverley College is a dual-campus independent Catholic early learning, primary and secondary day school for boys, located on Birrell and Henrietta Street in Waverley, in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The school was founded by the Congregation of Christian Brothers in 1903 and is operated in the tradition of Blessed Edmund Rice through its membership of Edmund Rice Education Australia. Mary Immaculate Church is a heritage-listed Roman Catholic church and friary at 45 Victoria Street, Waverley, in the Waverley Municipality of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Sheerin & Hennessy and built from 1890 to 1929 by John Ptolomy and by W. J. Bolton (1929). It is also known as Mary Immaculate Group, St Charles Borromeo Church and Parish House and Minamurra Cottage (former). The property is owned by the Association of Franciscan Friars Bros. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Westfield Bondi Junction is a large, upmarket shopping centre in the suburb of Bondi Junction in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.

Bondi Junction is an eastern suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is 6 kilometres east of the Sydney central business district and is part of the local government area of Waverley.Bondi Junction is a largely commercial area which has undergone many changes since the late 20th century. There have been many major commercial and residential developments around the main street and surrounding area, notably a new bus/rail interchange and large shopping mall. Many of the original pubs have been maintained, notably, the Nelson Hotel, so named because of its location on Nelson Street.Bondi Beach is a neighbouring suburb to the east with its namesake beach. Similarly named Bondi and North Bondi are also neighbouring suburbs. Bondi Junction and the neighbouring area is well known for its famous rugby league team, the Sydney Roosters, still officially known as the Eastern Suburbs District Rugby League Football Club.

On 13 April 2024, a 40-year-old man, Joel Cauchi, stabbed and killed six people and injured a further twelve in the Westfield Bondi Junction shopping centre in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Five women and one man died, while the injured included a nine-month-old girl. Cauchi was fatally shot by a police inspector.
