Delft Campus railway station is a railway station in Delft, Netherlands, located on the railway line between The Hague and Rotterdam. The railway station was opened on 31 May 1970. The station building was demolished in June 2006. The name of the station was Delft Zuid until 14 December 2019. The station area is dominated by the overpassing viaduct, which carries the Kruithuisweg, a provincial Highway, over the railroad. The viaduct is also used by pedestrians and travellers to reach the platforms at the other side.

The Abtswoudse Bos is man-made park and land art project, opened in 2000, of about 190 ha. It lies south of the Tanthof neighbourhood in Delft, east of Schipluiden and north of Overschie. The Abtswoudse Bos is situated in a polder and has trees, bushes, footpaths, cycling roads, ditches, lakes, and small ponds. The area's waters contain many aquatic plants, like reeds, underwater plants, and floating plants. The polder used to consist of meadows.

The Studentenstam De Delftsche Zwervers (Delft Rovers Student Crew) is a student society in Delft, Netherlands. Dating from 1915, it is the world's oldest student Scouting group, first as a club for former Scouts, from 1920 as a Rover crew. They are housed in the Scout Centre "Kruithuis", the monumental gunpowder ammunition dump of the Dutch Republic, designed in 1660 by Pieter Post. The members are students at the Delft University of Technology and other higher education institutions.

The Reactor Institute Delft (Dutch: Reactor Instituut Delft), or RID, is a nuclear research institute at Delft University of Technology in Delft, Netherlands. The institute features the Hoger Onderwijs Reactor (HOR, Dutch: Higher Education Reactor), a 2 MWt pool-type research reactor. Neutron research instruments are developed using several neutron beam lines leading from the core. One of the most intense positron beam lines in the world is powered by gamma-pair production near the reactor core.

Delta Flume is a 300 meter long man-made flume with a wave generator that is capable of producing waves as tall as five meters, the world's largest artificial waves. It is located at the Deltares Research Institute outside the city of Delft, Netherlands. It is used to simulate forces generated by natural waves in order to test materials used in the construction of dykes. Especially for testing the effect of vegetation the full scale testing is essential.

Delft University of Technology (Dutch: Technische Universiteit Delft), also known as TU Delft, is the oldest and largest Dutch public technical university, located in Delft, Netherlands. As of 2022 it is ranked by QS World University Rankings among the top 10 engineering and technology universities in the world. In the field of architecture, it was ranked on 2nd in the world, after MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).With eight faculties and numerous research institutes, it has more than 26,000 students (undergraduate and postgraduate) and 6,000 employees (teaching, research, support and management staff).The university was established on 8 January 1842 by William II of the Netherlands as a Royal Academy, with the primary purpose of training civil servants for work in the Dutch East Indies. The school expanded its research and education curriculum over time, becoming a polytechnic school in 1864 and an institute of technology (making it a full-fledged university) in 1905. It changed its name to Delft University of Technology in 1986.Dutch Nobel laureates Jacobus Henricus van 't Hoff, Heike Kamerlingh Onnes, and Simon van der Meer have been associated with TU Delft. TU Delft is a member of several university federations, including the IDEA League, CESAER, UNITECH International and 4TU.

Delft Aerospace Rocket Engineering is a student-run society within Delft University of Technology, with over 190 members. The main focus of the student group is the development of rocket technology on a non-profit basis. All development, from engines to electronics, is done in-house. Although several projects take place in DARE, the group's two flagship projects are Stratos and Project Sparrow. Stratos includes the Stratos I rocket which was launched in 2009 and set the European altitude record for amateur rocketry at 12.5 km. The follow-up of this rocket was the Stratos II+, which was launched on 16 October 2015, reaching an altitude of 21.5 km and breaking the European altitude record. In summer of 2018, Stratos III was launched, disintegrating 20 seconds after the launch. Its successor, Stratos IV, is currently in development. Project Sparrow is the newest project, working on a liquid-fueled rocket engine, which will be designed to go beyond the Kármán line. Even though DARE cooperates with the military to safely conduct launch campaigns, DARE's technology is strictly non-military. Approximately 70 percent of members come from the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering of Delft University of Technology, with the remaining 30% coming from other faculties, including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics and Industrial Design. DARE also features a very high number of international students, with about half of the students coming from outside the Netherlands.

The Formula Student Team Delft (FS Team Delft) is a Dutch Formula Student team based in Delft and composed mostly of students from the Delft University of Technology. The team is known for designing constructing lightweight Formula Student racing cars and competing in the global Formula Student competition since 2001. Having won Formula Student UK three times (2011, 2014, 2015) and Formula Student Germany six times (2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015), FS Team Delft is currently among the highest ranked teams in the Formula Student competition.

The Koninklijk Nederlands Legermuseum (Royal Dutch Army Museum) is the former national museum of the Dutch Army. Until 2013, it was located in the Armamentarium in Delft. In 2013 it was merged with the Militaire Luchtvaartmuseum (Military Aviation Museum), based on the former airbase at Soesterberg, where the new merged museum (Militaire Luchtvaart Museum) is based and where its new stores were opened on 13 May 2009 by Jeroen Sikkel, Secretary General for Defence.

The TU Delft Library is the main library of the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), located in Delft, Netherlands. It was designed by the Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and built in 1997. It is the largest technical scientific library in the Netherlands.

The Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at TU Delft (Dutch: Faculteit Bouwkunde; abbr. BK ) is the largest faculty of TU Delft with around 2,900 students. It is also one of the top faculties in the world: it was ranked 2nd in the world's top universities for architecture & built environment in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2020, following the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and 3rd in 2015, 2017 and 2018 an 2019.

Delft is the main railway station of the city of Delft, South Holland, Netherlands. It is located on the oldest railway line in the country, between the stations of The Hague Central and Rotterdam Central. Along with a new 2.3 km rail tunnel under the city centre, the current station opened on 28 February 2015. The new building, which integrates the station hall with the city's municipal offices, was designed by Mecanoo, an international architecture firm that originated in Delft. The project also included a rebuilt bus station, tram stops and improved bicycle parking.
