Bolingbrook High School or The Brook is a public four-year high school located in Bolingbrook, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. Bolingbrook High School is the second high school in the Valley View Community Unit School District 365U.

DuPage Township is located in Will County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, its population was 87,793 and it contained 28,861 housing units making it the most populous township in the county. Like the county of the same name which it borders on the north, this township is named after the DuPage River.

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook is a non-profit hospital campus in Bolingbrook, Illinois, United States that is part of a joint venture between AdventHealth and UChicago Medicine. The hospital is a primary stroke center and also a designated Level II trauma center by the Illinois Department of Public Health. When it opened in 2008, the hospital became the newest built in the state in twenty-five years.

Whalon Lake was once a quarry and is now a lake open to the public. Located in Bolingbrook, Illinois, it offers many activities like fishing, kayaking, walking, and biking. The lake is currently owned and operated by the Forest Preserve District of Will County.Located among wetlands near the DuPage River, the lake covers an area of about 81 acres (33 ha), has an average depth of 15 ft (4.6 m), and a shoreline length of 1.5 mi (2.4 km). The preserve occupies 266 acres (108 ha).

Old Chicago was a combination shopping mall and indoor amusement park that existed in the southwest Chicago suburb of Bolingbrook, Illinois from 1975 until 1980. It was billed as "The world's first indoor amusement park", and it was intended to draw visitors all year round, rain or shine. It opened to great fanfare and over 15,000 visitors on June 17, 1975, with an enormous building that housed major rides, such as three roller coasters and a Ferris wheel, as well as a turn-of-the-century-themed shopping mall with design reminiscent of the architecture of Louis Sullivan, such as his work for the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. However, only six months after opening, the complex ran into financial troubles due to construction cost overruns. The opening of a competing amusement park in Chicago's north suburbs (known today as Six Flags Great America) hurt attendance, and the lack of large anchor stores failed to draw enough local and repeat shoppers. Despite management changes, the center continued to lose money. By 1978, the mall began closing on Mondays and Tuesdays, and in early 1980 the entire amusement park shut down and the rides were sold, only five years after opening. Efforts to find alternative uses for the huge building failed, and the structure was demolished in the spring of 1986. Its address was 555 S. Bolingbrook Drive, Bolingbrook, Illinois 60439.

It is under the Al-Furqaan Foundation and it serves western and southwestern suburbs of Chicago. It was founded In 2007. There was a branch in Collin County, Texas that was merged into GoodTree Academy.

The Promenade Bolingbrook, also known as The Promenade, is a 750,000-square-foot (70,000 m2) open-air shopping center in Bolingbrook, Illinois, a southwest suburb of Chicago. It opened on April 26, 2007, at the intersection of Boughton Road and Interstate 355. Anchor tenants include Bass Pro Shops, Macy's, iPic Theaters, Binny's Beverage Depot, Barnes & Noble and DSW. It is owned and managed by M & J Wilkow. Macy's was originally planned to be a Marshall Field's while Binny's was a Circuit City which closed in 2009. The Promenade Bolingbrook received LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

Woodridge is a village in DuPage County, Illinois, with small portions in Will and Cook counties, and a southwestern suburb of Chicago. Per the 2020 census, the population was 34,158.The village is just north of the I-55 junction with IL-53. Woodridge was incorporated on August 24, 1959, with less than 500 residents. It is named for its location in a wooded area above a steep hillside, locally known as "The Ridge," which overlooks the DuPage River's East Branch and the Des Plaines Valley. Woodridge is a young community with the vast majority of its homes, businesses, and churches constructed after the 1950s. Woodridge was founded by a housing developer, Albert Kaufman, who was largely responsible for the creation of the village. In July 2007, Woodridge was ranked No. 61 on Money magazine's "100 Best Places to Live". It uses the 630 and 331 area codes. Woodridge is the home of the Home Run Inn pizzeria chain and was the home of Pabst Brewing Company from 2006 to 2011.
