San Jose del Monte, officially the City of San Jose del Monte (abbreviated as SJDM or CSJDM; Filipino: Lungsod ng San Jose del Monte), is a 1st class component city in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 651,813 people, making it the largest local government unit within the province of Bulacan and Central Luzon and the 18th most populated city in the Philippines. The City of San Jose del Monte had been proclaimed as a highly urbanized city on December 4, 2020, by the virtue of Proclamation No. 1057, signed by President Rodrigo Duterte and shall take effect after the ratification in a plebiscite. Located in the southeast of the province, it is bordered by the city of Caloocan in Metro Manila to the south, by the town of Rodriguez, Rizal to the east, the towns of Santa Maria and Marilao to the west and Norzagaray to the north. The city is home to some of the biggest resettlement areas in the Philippines like the Sapang Palay resettlement area spread over 36 barangays, Pabahay 2000 in Barangay Muzon and Towerville in Barangay Minuyan Proper. Most of the city's population come from former informal settlers along the creeks, esteros, riverbanks and railway tracks of Metro Manila.

The Quirino Highway, formerly called the El Quirino Express Road or Ipo Road, is a four-to-eight lane, secondary highway that connects Quezon City to the municipality of Norzagaray in Bulacan, Philippines. The road is a designated as National Route 127 (N127) of the Philippine highway network within the city bounds of Quezon City, Radial Road 7 (R-7), and a spur of Radial Road 8 (R-8) of Metro Manila's arterial road network.

Bagong Silang or Barangay 176 is a barangay of Caloocan, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is known for being the most populous barangay in the Philippines, with a population of 261,729 according to the 2020 census. It is also the northernmost barangay of Metro Manila located in the northern section of the city bordering the province of Bulacan.

Glorieta Park, sometimes spelled Glorietta Park, is an urban park in Caloocan, northern Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is situated near the border of barangays 187 and 188 (Zone 16, District III) in the former Tala Estate in North Caloocan. The park is one of three city-owned parks in Caloocan under the management of the Caloocan Parks Administration Services, the others being the Buena Park and Sports Complex in South Caloocan and the Caloocan Amparo Nature Park in eastern Tala, North Caloocan.The park occupies the central section of the former 808-hectare (2,000-acre) friar estate known as Hacienda Tala in the old municipality of Novaliches. This estate was purchased by the Philippine Commonwealth government under President Manuel Luis Quezon in 1938 for use as a leper colony to decongest and eventually replace the San Lazaro Hospital for Hansenites in Manila. The Central Luzon Leprosarium, built in 1940, was eventually reduced to an area of 130 hectares (320 acres) in 1971 through Proclamation No. 843 issued by President Ferdinand Marcos which set aside 50 hectares (120 acres) for the National Housing Authority (Philippines), 20 hectares (49 acres) for the Caloocan local government for use as a civic center containing its city hall, public high school, stadia and park to be located at its geographic center, 10 hectares (25 acres) for the Department of Social Welfare and Development bordering the planned civic center, and the remaining 589 hectares (1,460 acres) for housing and resettlement sites to be administered by the People's Homesite and Housing Corporation.Glorieta Park is bordered by Dr. Uyguanco Avenue, Langit Road, San Jose Street, and Quezon Drive Park and is the largest open space and recreation area in Barangay 187. It features a children's playground and the Glorieta Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, a covered court formerly known as the Glorieta Kiosk. The Our Lady of Holy Rosary Parish Church borders the park to the north. It is also the location of the Tala Health Center, the Tala Post Office, the Tala United Methodist Church and Holy Rosary College. The barangay hall of Barangay 187 lies immediately to the east on Dr. Uyguanco Avenue. It is accessible from the Caloocan districts of Camarin and Bagong Silang on the south and west via the Zabarte/Old Zabarte Road and Langit Road, and from Novaliches, Greater Lagro and Fairview on the east and southeast via Quirino Highway and Dr. Uyguanco Avenue. In February 2012, as part of the city's 50th anniversary, the Caloocan city government under Mayor Enrico Echiverri hosted a mass wedding at the Glorieta Park wherein a total of 1,510 couples were wed in an attempt to beat India's Guinness record for holding the world's largest mass wedding.In October 2015, Mayor Oscar Malapitan formally inaugurated the 568.75-square-meter (6,122.0 sq ft) Glorieta Amphitheater within the park which has a seating capacity of 1,500 and which will serve as a venue to showcase the talents and skills of Caloocanians. The amphitheater, which cost ₱35 million to build, was approved in the 2014 Caloocan City Supplemental Budget No. 14 under its Sangguniang Panlungsod Ordinance No. 0541.Under the Caloocan City Comprehensive Development Plan 2017–2019, the Caloocan local government plans to construct additional sports facilities within the park, as well as a lagoon and fountain at the left and right side of the covered court, and a perimeter fence with lamp posts. The plan also includes the installation of a permanent front and back door access to the park for VIP use.

The Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital (DJNRMH), formerly known as Central Luzon Sanitarium, was established in 1940, to accommodate patients with Hansen's Disease in the entire Luzon region in the Philippines. It is currently situated within the district of Tala, in Caloocan, Metro Manila, and occupies 130 hectares (320 acres) of land area, from the original 808 hectares (2,000 acres). The reduction of land area was to accommodate previous homeless treated patients who eventually settled and established their own community, called Tala. In 1970, the hospital began treating general medical cases (non-Hansen disease patients) when there was a high success rate of treatment of the first Hansen patients from research and the advancement of procedures done within the current medical practice. Due to the significant drop of Hansen patients the hospital then considered admission of general cases. The hospital currently serves as the principal referral hospital for leprosy patients and the premier training and research center for leprosy care and management in the Philippines. It also serves the public health needs of community members of Tala and nearby areas.

Saint Benedict School of Novaliches is a Israel Holiness Catholic school in Caloocan, Philippines. Opened in 1997, the school served 1,876 students during the 2005–2006 school year.

Amparo High School (AHS) is a public secondary school located in Caloocan, Philippines. The school operates under the Division of City Schools, Caloocan, DepEd NCR. Amparo was established in 1979. An annex was constructed in 2005.

Caloocan National Science and Technology High School (Filipino: Mataas na Paaralang Pang-Agham at Teknolohiyang Pambansa ng Caloocan) colloquially known as CNSTHS or CalNatSci is a special science and technology public high school in the Philippines. It is on Congress Road, Barangay 173, Bagumbong, Caloocan (14°45′19″N 121°1′49″E). Admission to CNSTHS is by competitive examination. Caloocan National Science and Technology High School is a project of Caloocan Mayor Oscar OCA Malapitan. In June 2016, this school has also opened to cater the first batch of Senior High School students under Academic Track - STEM Strand.

Caloocan City Business High School (CCBHS) is a business and technical-skills oriented public high school in Caloocan, Metro Manila, Philippines. It offers ABM (Accountancy, Business and Management), HUMSS (Humanities and Social Sciences), STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and TVL (Technical Vocational Livelihood) for Senior High School Students.Formerly known as Urduja Business High School, it is located at Sikatuna Ext., Urduja Village, Barangay 172, Caloocan. Caloocan City Business High School (CCBHS) is operated by the local city government. The school is intended for students who want to excel in fields of technology and business. As of now, CCBHS ranked 1st in 'National Achievement Test' in Caloocan. The school was developed into an integrated high school in Caloocan that offers Grade 7 to Grade 12 levels, starting A.Y 2017–2018. CCBHS' program is open to all Junior High School completers who want to enhance and hone their skills in different areas. The school currently offers Senior High School tracks: Academic Track Strands: Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM), Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS), and opened Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) strand on A.Y. 2018–2019. Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) Track Strands: Information and Communications Technology (ICT), and Cookery. The school currently has three functional buildings (2 four-storey, and 1 three-storey), and one building under construction.

Mater Carmeli School - Novaliches, located at Sacred Heart Village, Novaliches, Quezon City, is a private Catholic educational institution owned and managed by the Carmelite Missionaries. It was founded in 1986 on a property adjacent to the Novitiate House of the Carmelite Missionaries in Quezon City. Its Latin name, which means Mother of Carmel, comes from the name of a coastal mountain range in northern Israel where a group of hermits established themselves towards the end of the 12th century AD and called themselves Brothers of Saint Mary on Mt. Carmel in honor of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the school's patroness. The school offers nursery, kindergarten, grade school, junior high school and senior high school. The school is also known as MCS.
