Garden City, Idaho

The Pedro Echevarria House at 5605 W. State Street in Garden City, Idaho, is a brick and wood frame Bungalow designed by Tourtellotte and Hummel and constructed in 1920 for Pedro and Maria Echevarria. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.In 2018 a developer proposed building 19 small houses on the site, preserving the Pedro Echevarria House as the community center of a cohousing neighborhood, but the City rejected the proposal as "incompatible with the city's comprehensive plan."

The Western Idaho Fair is the one of the annual state fairs of Idaho. It has been held in the capital city of Boise virtually every late summer/early fall since 1897, and annually in the city of Garden City on the grounds of the Expo Idaho since 1967. It is usually held from the third Friday of August, until the fourth Sunday of August. The corresponding Eastern Idaho Fair is held in Bingham County at Blackfoot.

Capital High School is a three-year public secondary school in Boise, Idaho, United States. Opened in the fall of 1965, it was the third of four public high schools constructed in the Boise School District, and serves its northern portion. The other high schools are Boise (1902) in the east, Borah (1958) in the southwest, and Timberline (1998) in the southeast.

Memorial Stadium is an outdoor baseball park in the western United States, located in Boise, Idaho. The home of the Boise Hawks of the independent Pioneer League, it has a current seating capacity of 3,452 on land owned by Ada County, adjacent to the Western Idaho Fairgrounds on the banks of the Boise River. The stadium opened 33 years ago in 1989, with several significant improvements over time. It was privately built by an investor group led by Bill Pereira and General Manager, Fred Kuenzi. The natural grass playing field at Memorial Stadium is aligned northeast, at an approximate elevation of 2,600 feet (790 m) above sea level.

The Idaho High School Activities Association (IHSAA) oversees high school athletics and activities in the state of Idaho. Idaho high schools are classified in five categories, based on enrollment, for league competition and state playoffs and championships. The IHSAA recognizes 18 specific sports.Schools primarily compete within their own classification for regular season play, but are allowed to play other schools one classification above or below them in most sports.

Pierce Park School in Boise, Idaho, is a 1+1⁄2-story, flat roof, brick and stucco building constructed in 1911 as a 4-room schoolhouse. The building has expanded with its growing community, but the additions have been considered compatible with the original structure, and the school was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.The school was named for Pierce Park, a trolley park developed by Walter E. Pierce in 1907, four miles from Boise and along the route of the Boise & Interurban Railway. The park closed in 1928.

Collister School in the Collister neighborhood of Boise, Idaho, was designed by Tourtellotte & Hummel and constructed in 1912. The 2-story, 4-room, stucco over brick building features large window bays and a flat parapet roofline with minimal ornamentation. The building was expanded in 1948 with a 2-story addition to the left of the original structure. Another expansion in 1953 added a 1-story row of classrooms to the right. The school was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.A 1-room Collister School in the suburban town of Collister, Idaho, had existed prior to 1912. But by 1911, conditions at the school were overcrowded and unsanitary. The school was part of Ada County School District #46, and voters approved a bond measure for construction of a new school in 1912. In 1922 the school was annexed into the Boise Independent School District.

The Rathdrum Prairie is a flat in the U.S. state of Idaho. The prairie contains the cities of Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, Rathdrum, State Line, and Huetter. The prairie also contains part of the Spokane Valley–Rathdrum Prairie Aquifer.

Le Marteleur (French: [lə maʁt.lœʁ]; variously translated as The Hammerman or The Drop Forger) is a bronze sculpture by Belgian sculptor Constantin Meunier. It depicts a hammerman holding a pair of pincers and wearing an apron, cap, and spats. Created in 1886, several casts of the statue exist, including one on the campus of Columbia University.

Baldwin is a former mining town from the late 19th century located about 8.5 miles southwest of Crested Butte, Colorado. While Baldwin is not commonly known as a ghost town, many of the original structures still exist. Much of the land that the few structures are on is now privately owned. The town of Baldwin came to be because of the coalfields that were discovered at the base of Mount Carbon, now called Carbon Peak. Baldwin became a ghost town due to the departure and subsequent abandonment of The Denver and South Park railroad that served Baldwin.

Boise Bible College (BBC) is a private Christian Bible college in Boise, Idaho.

Cole School and Gymnasium in Boise, Idaho, was a 2-story, stucco over brick school building with stone trim. The year of construction was likely 1903, although in an annual report issued by the Boise School District 1972–73, the year was given as 1908. Above the main entry of a 1951 addition to the building was written, "Cole Elementary Est. 1888." The buildings were added to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1982.
