Aloha Stadium is a closed multi-purpose stadium located in Halawa, Hawaii, a western suburb of Honolulu (though with a Honolulu address). It is the largest stadium in the state of Hawaii. As of December 2020, the stadium ceased fan-attended operations indefinitely, and placed a moratorium on the scheduling of new events. It is located next to the Hālawa station of the Skyline rail system. Aloha Stadium served as home to the University of Hawaiʻi Rainbow Warriors football team (Mountain West Conference, NCAA Division I FBS) for the 1975 through 2020 seasons. It also hosted college football's Hawaiʻi Bowl (2002–2019) and Hula Bowl (1976–1997, 2006–2008, 2020–2021), and formerly was home to the National Football League's Pro Bowl from 1980 through 2016 (except in 2010 and 2015). It also hosted numerous high school football games, and served as a venue for large concerts and events, including high school graduation ceremonies. The stadium was home field for the AAA Hawaii Islanders of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) from 1975 to 1987, before the team moved to Colorado Springs. Frequent swap meets in the stadium's parking lot often draw large crowds.

ʻAiea (; Hawaiian: ʻAiea, pronounced [ʔɐjˈɛjə]) is a census-designated place (CDP) located in the City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. As of the 2010 Census, the CDP had a total population of 9,338.

Hālawa station (also known as Aloha Stadium station) is a Skyline metro station in Hālawa, Hawaiʻi, serving Aloha Stadium, ʻAiea, Salt Lake, and Moanalua. The station is located alongside Kamehameha Highway above its intersection with Salt Lake Boulevard. It serves as the eastern terminus of the current rail system and opened on June 30, 2023. The station has a 590-space park and ride lot.As the eastern terminus, buses provide services along the future right of way via the adjacent bus bay. TheBus Route A CityExpress! provides express service between Hālawa station, Downtown Honolulu, the Ala Moana Center, and the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa every 10 minutes, timed with the arrival of trains. Route 1L provides limited stop service between this station and East Honolulu via King Street and Waiʻalae Avenue, including stops at Middle Street–Kalihi Transit Center and Kahala Mall. Routes 20 and PH8 provide service between this station and Joint Base Pearl Harbor–Hickam, with route 20 continuing on to the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, Downtown Honolulu, and Waikīkī.In Hawaiian, "hālawa" means "curve" and is the name of the ahupuaʻa in which it is located, the easternmost in the ʻEwa District. The Hawaiian Station Name Working Group proposed Hawaiian names for the nine rail stations on the ʻEwa end of the rail system (stations west of and including Aloha Stadium) in November 2017, and HART adopted the proposed names on February 22, 2018.

Pali Momi Medical Center is a nonprofit hospital located in Waimalu, West Oʻahu. It has 118 beds, and has a full range of services, including an interventional cardiac catheterization lab, CT scan and MRI services, and the state's first Retina Center. Pali Momi's emergency services division employs a team triage method, and is the only hospital in Hawaii to do so. It also has a simulation lab to further train their staff.Pali Momi was founded in 1989 as the Kapiolani Medical Center at Pali Momi. It is an affiliate of Hawaiʻi Pacific Health. In 2010, the hospital rebranded itself as the Pali Momi Medical Center.

Camp H. M. Smith is a United States Marine Corps installation in the Halawa census-designated place on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, near the community of Halawa (ha-LA-va) Heights. It is the headquarters of the United States Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM), Special Operations Command Pacific, and Marine Forces Pacific, the Marine service component command of INDOPACOM. The camp, originally the Aiea Naval Hospital, was named for General Holland McTyeire Smith, the first commanding general of Fleet Marine Force Pacific, on June 8, 1955. The initials H. M. also stood for his nickname which was "Howling Mad" referring to his temper and given to him by his Marines.

USS Bowfin (SS/AGSS-287), is a Balao-class submarine of the United States Navy named for the bowfin fish. Since 1981, she has been open to public tours at the USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, next to the USS Arizona Memorial Visitor Center. Bowfin was laid down by the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard at Kittery, Maine, on 23 July 1942, and launched on 7 December 1942 by Mrs. Jane Gawne, wife of Captain James Gawne, and commissioned on 1 May 1943, Commander Joseph H. Willingham in command.

Pearl Harbor National Memorial is a unit of the National Park System of the United States on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. The John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act removed the site from the World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument on March 12, 2019, and made it a separate national memorial. It has an area of 21.3 acres (0.086 km2).The site commemorates the events of the Attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, which killed over 2,400 Americans and sank twelve ships. The site includes the USS Arizona Memorial, the USS Utah memorial, the USS Oklahoma memorial, six chief petty officer bungalows on Ford Island, mooring quays F6, F7, and F8, which formed part of Battleship Row, and the visitor center at Halawa Landing. A visitor center and park features galleries on the Pacific theater of World War II, a theater showing a film about the attack, and memorial sculpture. Visitors may take a ferry to the Arizona memorial. Nearby are the USS Missouri memorial, USS Bowfin museum, and Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum, which are designated historic attractions within the Pearl Harbor Naval Complex.

CINCPAC Fleet Headquarters, also known as Commander in Chief Pacific Fleet Headquarters or COMPACFLT Headquarters, is a historic military building on Makalapa Drive in Joint Base Pearl Harbor–Hickam, on the island of Oahu in the US state of Hawaii. Built during World War II in 1942, it served as the headquarters of Admiral Chester W. Nimitz from 1942 through 1945, while he was Commander-in-Chief, Pacific Fleet and Commander-in-Chief, Pacific Ocean Areas, during World War II. Commanding land, sea, and air forces, Admiral Nimitz had major responsibility for campaigns such as the Battle of Midway, the liberation of Guam, and the seizure of Saipan and Tinian in the Marianas. It was designated a National Historic Landmark for this role in 1987.

Pearlridge Center is the second largest shopping center in Hawaiʻi, after Ala Moana, and is Hawaiʻi's largest enclosed shopping center, located in ʻAiea. Opened in 1972 and expanded in 1976, the enclosed mall is split into three "phases" (Uptown, Downtown, and Phase Three) and overlooks historic Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial. The property includes the only monorail in Hawaiʻi, the only emergency clinic located on mall property (Pali Momi Medical Center), and an eight-story office complex (Pearlridge Office Center). The mall is owned by Washington Prime Group. and is on land owned by Kamehameha Schools.It is served by Kalauao (Pearl Highlands) station on the Honolulu Skyline.

Admiral Clarey Bridge, also known as the Ford Island Bridge, is a 4,672 ft (1,424 m) road bridge that connects Ford Island in Pearl Harbor to the mainland of Oahu, the third-largest island of Hawaii. A 930 ft (280 m) section of it is supported by pontoons, and can be moved to allow vessels to pass through. This floating moveable span is the largest in the world.The bridge is used by military families housed on Ford Island and by tour buses serving the island's historic sites. The bridge replaced an hourly ferry service operated by the U.S. Navy. Its namesake, Admiral Bernard A. Clarey, was one of the Navy's most decorated officers.

Christian Academy is a private, co-educational Christian school in Honolulu, Hawaii. Grades are from pre-K through 12. Christian Academy is accredited by Association of Christian Schools International and has approximately 250 students.

Halawa Correctional Facility is a state prison in the City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii on the island of Oahu. It is operated by the Hawaii Department of Public Safety. The prison is in proximity to the communities of Aiea and Halawa.The prison has two separate facilities: a medium security division for medium-security male prisoners, and a special needs division for both male and female inmates. Originally opened in 1962 as the City and County Halawa Jail, it was transferred to the State in 1977. The prison was expanded in 1987 and remains the largest prison in the State of Hawaii correctional system.
