Kopli

Estonian Maritime Academy of Tallinn University of Technology (Estonian: TTÜ Eesti Mereakadeemia, or EMERA) is a vocational university in Estonia. It is one of the schools of Tallinn University of Technology and it is the only educational institution in Estonia that offers professional higher education and Master’s level education in the maritime field. The university is located in the capital Tallinn but also has two centres in Saaremaa. In addition to higher education, the school contributes to research, provides training and offers services. The Academy also holds a one of a kind Simulator Centre and has a whole dedicated floor of hi-tech laboratories.

Bekker Port (Estonian: Bekkeri sadam) is a seaport situated in Kopli, Tallinn, Estonia, located on the northeastern coast of the Kopli Bay (part of the Tallinn Bay).

Port of Meeruse (port code EE MRS, Estonian: Meeruse sadam) is a seaport situated on the southwestern coast of Kopli, Tallinn, Estonia, located in eastern area of Kopli Bay.

The Kopli cemetery (German: Friedhof von Ziegelskoppel or Kirchhof von Ziegelskoppel; Estonian: Kopli kalmistu) was Estonia's largest Lutheran Baltic German cemetery, located in the suburb of Kopli in Tallinn. It contained thousands of graves of prominent citizens of Tallinn and stood from 1774 to shortly after World War II, when it was completely flattened and destroyed by the Soviet occupation authorities governing the country at the time. The former cemetery is now a public park.

Pelguranna (Estonian for "Refuge Beach") is a subdistrict (asum) in the district of Põhja-Tallinn (North Tallinn) in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It is located between Pelgulinn, Kopli and Sitsi and is bordered with the Stroomi Beach by the Kopli Bay (part of Tallinn Bay) to the west, and the Merimets forest park to the south. Houses there mostly consist of 4-9 floor apartment buildings. Pelguranna has a population of 15,142 (As of 1 January 2015).The construction of first residential buildings started in the end of the 1940s. The area was previously known as Sitsi karjamaa ("Sitsi pasture") but was primarily a wasteland with some kitchen gardens. With its small quarters, Pelguranna was one of the first complexly built neighborhoods in Tallinn (by architects K. Luts and August Volberg). Besides the apartment buildings, there were built schools, kindergartens, shops, a polyclinic and a cinema. That area makes up the northern half of the nowadays Pelguranna. The southern part was built from 1960s to the 1980s and consists of pre-fabricated panel houses. The main recreational area is the Stroomi Beach (also known as Pelgurand), which is also one of two most popular beaches in Tallinn (the other being Pirita Beach in Pirita).

Põhja-Tallinn (Estonian for "Northern Tallinn") is one of the 8 administrative districts (Estonian: linnaosa) of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.

Paljassaare (Estonian for "Bare Island") is the name of the Paljassaare Peninsula in the Tallinn Bay, and the name of a subdistrict (Estonian: asum) in the district of Põhja-Tallinn (Northern Tallinn) in the city of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. The subdistrict is located on the peninsula. Paljassaare has a population of 583 (As of 1 January 2014).

Sitsi (Estonian for "Chintz") is a subdistrict (Estonian: asum) in the district of Põhja-Tallinn, Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It has a population of 3,874 (As of 1 January 2014).

Mustjõe (Estonian for "Black River") is a subdistrict (Estonian: asum) in the district of Haabersti, Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It has a population of 3,181 (As of 1 January 2014).

Merimetsa (Estonian for "Sea Forest") is a subdistrict (Estonian: asum) in the district of Põhja-Tallinn, Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It is mostly covered by the park forest Merimets (Sea Forest (German: Seewald); also known as Stroomi Forest (Estonian: Stroomi mets), derived from the nearby Stroomi Beach). Merimetsa has a population of 4 (As of 1 January 2014).

Paljassaare Harbour (Estonian: Paljassaare sadam) is a seaport situated in Paljassaare, Tallinn, Estonia. Vessels enter and leave the harbour through a canal (length of canal 800 m, width 90-150m, depth 9.0m)

Haabersti (German: Habers) is a subdistrict (Estonian: asum) in the district of Haabersti, Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It has a population of 714 (As of 1 January 2015).
