Lake Pansy, an almost round lake, has a surface area of 50.42-acre (204,000 m2). This lake is on the north edge of Winter Haven, Florida. The city limits just reach water's edge on the east and southeast and the south city limits of Lake Alfred, Florida, are just across US Highway 92, which is 100 feet (30 m) northeast of Lake Pansy. The lake's north and west shores are bordered by woods. The east and northwest shores are bordered by residences and the southeast shore borders a citrus grove. Lake Pansy and the Winter Haven Municipal Airport are separated on the west side of the lake by 21st Street Northwest.Lake Pansy has public access via a public boat ramp on its southeast shore. There are no public swimming areas at this lake. The Hook and Bullet website says this lake contains largemouth bass and perch.

The Chain of Lakes Trail is a 4.7 miles (7.6 km) paved multi-use path that runs from Lake Alfred to Winter Haven in Florida, past many of the lakes that compose the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes. The trail runs along the abandoned route of the South Florida Railroad's Bartow Branch (which was later part of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad). The southern terminus of the trail is near Lake Howard at Avenue B Northwest near the Chamber of Commerce Building. The trail travels northward past Lake Silver, Spring Lake, Lake Ida, and Lake Conine before coming to an end at the southwest corner of West Haines Avenue and southbound US Highway 17 and westbound US Highway 92.Originally running 3.2 miles (5.1 km) between Avenue E Northwest at the Winter Haven bus terminal near city hall and Lake Rochelle at US 17/92 in Lake Alfred, it was extended north over a bridge crossing US 17 and 92 running as far north as West Haines Avenue in Lake Alfred, as well as south through Winter Haven Central Park to the Chamber of Commerce Building in the late 2010s.

Jack Browns Seaplane Base (FAA LID: F57) is a public-use seaplane base located 3 nautical miles (5.56 km) northwest of the central business district of Winter Haven in Polk County, Florida, United States. It is located on the northeast shore of Lake Jessie, which is part of the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes. The privately owned seaplane base is located adjacent to Winter Haven's Gilbert Airport and connected to it by an asphalt taxiway.

The Interlaken Historic Residential District is a U.S. historic district (designated as such on March 28, 2002) located in Winter Haven, Florida. The neighborhood of Interlaken is approximately 300 acres (1.2 km2). It is bound in by the lakes and canals of the Chain of Lakes. The term "Interlaken" means "between lakes". The primary boundaries are the north shore of Lake Howard, the southwest shore of Lake Mirror, and the Cannon-Howard Canal.The neighborhood consists exclusively of single-family homes. More than two-thirds of the homes in Interlaken, 50 homes in total, are on the National Register of Historic Places. The majority of these home were built between 1910 and 1924, with some being built as late as 1949. These homes are noted for their grace and beauty, and as prime examples of Colonial Revival architectural style.Interlaken Park is a small public park in the neighborhood, located at Avenue L and Orange St. The land for the park was originally platted for a single family home construction, like the rest of the neighborhood. However, speculators drove up the price of the lot, only to have it crash in the Florida land bust of 1925 and the Great Depression. Dr. Willey Terrell Simpson, who lived across from the park, purchased it during the height of the depression at a greatly reduced price. He then donated it to the city for use as a public park. It is the only lot in the neighborhood not developed as a single-family home. Today the park provides open space and individual picnic facilities.

The Ephraim M. Baynard House is a historic home in Auburndale, Florida, located at 208 West Lake Avenue. On November 10, 2001, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places and houses the Baynard House Museum. The Architect was Alfred Chipman Thorp, and Baynard's home was designed and built in the Folk Victorian style. The house's namesake, Ephraim Mikell Baynard (1860-1933) was a real estate developer in the region. Baynard was designated a Great Floridian by the Florida Department of State in the Great Floridians 2000 Program. A plaque attesting the honor is located at the Baynard House.

Auburndale City Hall is a national historic site located at 1 Bobby Green Plaza, Auburndale, Florida in Polk County. The monument is an L-shaped two-story brick building, built in 1927 in Italian Renaissance Revival style. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 24, 2013.
