Malden High School is a public high school in Malden, Massachusetts. Established in 1857, the school is part of the Malden Public Schools and is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). A 2013 study conducted by the National Center for Education Statistics found that Malden High was the most diverse public high school in Massachusetts.

The Odd Fellows Building is a historic commercial building in Malden, Massachusetts. The four story steel and masonry building was built in 1907 to a design by Louis C. Newhall for the local chapter of the International Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF). The building is faced in buff brick, and is predominantly Renaissance Revival in character. The first floor consists of storefronts, while the upper floors housed IOOF facilities, including a large meeting space. The upper levels are of particular architectural interest: the third level has groups of three arched windows separated by pillars, and the fourth has paired round-arch windows within recessed round-arch panels. The roof line is also ornate, with brackets and a dentil course.Architect Newhall, a Malden resident, was senior partner in the Boston architecture firm of Newhall & Blevins. Among other projects, this firm was also responsible for the design of the Boston City Club.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Waite Brick Block is a historic commercial building at 422-424 Main Street in Malden, Massachusetts. Built in 1848, it is the oldest brick building in the city. The three story Greek Revival building has a hip roof, from which three tapered chimneys project. One corner of the building is curved, following the original junction of Main and Pleasant Streets. Windows are topped by granite lintels, and the cornice has a line of brick dentil work.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, misspelled as "Waitt".

The Browne-Masonic Building is a historic commercial and fraternal organization building at 126-150 Pleasant Street in Malden, Massachusetts. Built in 1894, it is a good example of Classical Revival architecture, designed by the prominent Boston firm Hartwell & Richardson. The building from its inception served as a home for a variety of fraternal organizations, notably housing local Masonic organization for much of the 20th century. The four-story brick building now houses commercial space on the ground floor and residences in the upper stories. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2022.

Waitts Mountain is a summit in Malden, Middlesex County in the state of Massachusetts. It was named by the United States Geological Survey in 1894.

Bell Rock Memorial Park is a public park between Main, Wigglesworth, Meridan, and Ellis Streets in Malden, Massachusetts. The west side of the rock is the site of the two earliest Congregational meeting houses in Malden (First Meeting House 1649-1658 and Second Meeting House 1660-1730). The park also has an American Civil War memorial statue "The Flag Defenders" by Bela Pratt and a World War II memorial. The park was laid out in 1910 by Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. The park was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Malden Center is an intermodal transit station in Malden, Massachusetts. Located on an elevated grade above Pleasant Street in downtown Malden, it serves the MBTA's rapid transit Orange Line and the MBTA Commuter Rail Haverhill Line, as well as 13 MBTA bus routes. The current station opened on December 27, 1975, replacing an older brick station which has since been repurposed as a restaurant.

The Wilbur Fiske Haven House is a historic house at 339 Pleasant Street in Malden, Massachusetts. Built in the 1860s, this Second Empire house is a remnant survivor of a series of fashionable mid-19th century Victorian houses, known as "Doctor's Row". The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. It is now used for professional offices.

Oak Grove station is a Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) intermodal transit station in the northern section of Malden, Massachusetts, just south of the Melrose border. It is the northern terminus of the rapid transit Orange Line and a stop on the Haverhill Line commuter rail service. The accessible station has a 788-space park and ride lot and is served by four MBTA bus routes. The Boston and Maine Railroad opened through Malden in 1845, and a stop at Oak Grove was added by the 1870s. It closed in 1958 amid a series of cuts. The MBTA opened the modern station in March 1977 as the northern terminus of the Haymarket North Extension of the Orange Line. It also temporarily served as the southern terminus of Haverhill Line service in 1984–85 after a bridge fire at North Station. Renovation work on the Orange Line platform, including a new emergency exit ramp, took place in 2013–14. Three new elevators were added in 2019–2022, with one existing elevator replaced. Haverhill Line resumed stopping at the station during a 2022 closure of the Orange Line; Oak Grove was retained as a stop after.

Common Burying Ground at Sandy Bank (also known as Bell Rock Cemetery) is a historic cemetery in Malden, Massachusetts, USA. It occupies a roughly rectangular parcel of land 3.3 acres (1.3 ha) in size, bounded by Medford and Green Streets, Converse Avenue and the Malden River on the west. It is the oldest cemetery in the city, established in 1649. Its earliest probable burial dates to that same year, although the oldest gravestone, that of Alice Brackenbury, bears the date 1670. The Malden Public Library, in its local history collection, has a multi-volume set of binders that contain alphabetically ordered photographs of every grave in the cemetery with the epitaphs on each gravestone transcribed below its picture. The cemetery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.It is the final resting place of Michael Wigglesworth, a Puritan minister, doctor and poet whose poem, "The Day of Doom", was very popular in early New England and remains so to this day.

St. Paul's Parish Church is a historic, Gothic Revival Episcopal church designed by architect Ralph Adams Cram. It is located at 26 Washington Street in Malden, Massachusetts and was built in 1913. The current building replaced an earlier 1871 building that now serves as the church's parish house. Some of the church's stained glass windows were created by the noted glass studio of Wilbur Herbert Burnham. The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. Its current minister is the Rev. Stephen Voysey.
