J. W. Mitchell High School (also called Mitchell or JWMHS), is a public high school in Trinity, Florida, located next to Seven Springs Middle School. Its current principal is Jessica Schultz. It is one of the largest schools in the Pasco County Schools district. The school opened on August 14, 2000.

Trinity College of Florida is a private interdenominational evangelical Bible college in Trinity, Florida. It was founded in 1932.

The Charles B. Anderson House is an historic house in Elfers, Florida, United States owned by Pasco County. On April 26, 1996, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

The Samuel Baker House is an historic site in Elfers, Florida. It was built in 1882, and is located at 5742 Moog Road. On February 14, 1997, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

East Lake High School is a public high school serving students from grades 9–12 located in Tarpon Springs, Florida, and is part of the Pinellas County Schools. It has a 99% graduation rate which ranks it among the most graduating schools in the state of Florida.The nine-building complex was inaugurated in 1987 and is located on 13 acres (53,000 m2) of land in northern Pinellas County. In 2014, the East Lake Middle School Academy of Engineering was constructed on the campus in addition to the high school.

Brooker Creek Preserve is located in Pinellas County, Florida, owned by the Pinellas County government and the Southwest Florida Water Management District, and managed by the Pinellas County Parks and Conservation Resources Department. It encompasses 8,700 acres (35km2) and offers birding, horseback riding, and hiking. The Preserve office is located at 3940 Keystone Road, Tarpon Springs, Florida,The Brooker Creek Preserve Environmental Education Center features displays and interactive exhibits about Florida natural history and local history. Educational and interpretive programs are offered for the public.

Holiday is a census-designated place (CDP) in Pasco County, Florida, United States. It is a suburb of the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 24,939 as of the 2020 census. In the early 1960s, William W. Boyd, president of First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Tarpon Springs, noted the name Holiday Drive on a map near the site of the proposed branch to be built in southwestern Pasco County and asked his board of directors to give the name to the new branch. Later Boyd began drumming up support to name the community Holiday.

Gulf High School is a four-year public high school in New Port Richey, Florida. It is part of the Pasco County School System in Pasco County, Florida. It is the first high school in western Pasco County and the second school in Pasco County to offer the International Baccalaureate Program, the other being Land O' Lakes High School. Gulf High School is so named because it was originally located less than one mile from the Gulf of Mexico.

East Lake is a census-designated place (CDP) in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. The population was 30,962 at the 2010 census. It was one of the last areas in the densely populated county to develop. It is often confused with East Lake in neighboring Hillsborough County.

Lake Tarpon is a freshwater lake located about 10 miles (16 km) west of Tampa in Palm Harbor and Tarpon Springs, Florida. Lake Tarpon is the largest freshwater lake in Pinellas County with a surface area of 2,534 acres (10.25 km2). Its watershed encompasses 52 square miles (130 km2). Its two largest tributaries are South Creek and Brooker Creek. The lake is a regional recreational destination and is renowned for its largemouth bass fishing.Although Lake Tarpon is designated as a fishing lake, it fails to meet the EPA's standards, and is therefore listed as an impaired lake due to its excessive nutrients and resulting low dissolved oxygen levels. The lake underwent increasing eutrophication during the 1990s, following a large algal bloom in 1987. Although initial studies determined that the lake was not polluted, studies in the following years noted a decline in the lake's water quality.

Tarpon Springs is a city in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. The population was 23,484 at the 2010 census. Tarpon Springs has the highest percentage of Greek Americans of any city in the US. Downtown Tarpon Springs has long been a focal point and is undergoing beautification.
