Beacon Square, Florida

Pasco Palms Preserve is an area of protected lands in the Beacon Square section of New Port Richey in Pasco County, Florida. It is located adjacent to Eagle Point Park to the west of U.S. Highway 19 North at 4466 Strauber Memorial Highway. The 116-acre preserve offers hiking and is open from sunup to sundown. It was acquired in 2009 and includes habitat for bird species, including the white ibis and snowy egret. It fronts on the Gulf of Mexico and includes nature trail with "wetlands, salt marshes, mixed hardwood pine forests, mangrove swamps and tidal flats," according to the Pasco County website Pasco County Environmental Lands Department holds events there, as does Pasco's EcoFest.

Eagle Point Park encompasses 15 acres (61,000 m2) of a 600-acre (2.4 km2) coastal nature preserve in Pasco County, Florida west of US 19 and includes trails, a canoe and kayak launch dock, playground equipment, three fishing piers, and picnic shelters. It opened in 2010 after six years in planning and construction following the property's being purchased in order to forestall development. Pasco Palms Preserve is adjacent to the park.

Gulf Trace is a public elementary school founded on August 20, 2007, in Holiday, Florida. It was Florida's first Green LEED (Leadership and Energy and Environmental Design) school and is a part of the Pasco County School System. Holiday is a census-designated place (CDP) in Pasco County, Florida, United States. It is a suburb of the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 24,939 as of the 2020 census. In the early 1960s, William W. Boyd, president of First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Tarpon Springs, noted the name Holiday Drive on a map near the site of the proposed branch to be built in southwestern Pasco County and asked his board of directors to give the name to the new branch. Later Boyd began drumming up support to name the community Holiday.

The Samuel Baker House is an historic site in Elfers, Florida. It was built in 1882, and is located at 5742 Moog Road. On February 14, 1997, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The Holiday Pacific and Southern Tower was a 468.7 meters tall guyed mast for FM- and TV-broadcasting located in Holiday, Florida, United States. It was built in 1979.The tower was unusual in that it was situated in a residential area, surrounded by houses. Generally, the area around guyed masts is not developed into private residences, owing to the likelihood of incidental property damage from ice (rare at this latitude) or grease (from periodic maintenance of the guys) falling from the guys to the ground below. Another factor is that the high proximal intensity of radio and television transmissions can be a source of electromagnetic interference, affecting the electronic devices of nearby homeowners. The Holiday Pacific and Southern Tower was dismantled in February 2012. A smaller radio tower built next to it in the 1990s and reportedly dismantled in 2013 (though still standing in 2019) was mistaken as being the Holiday Pacific and Southern Tower at an earlier date in this article.

The Charles B. Anderson House is an historic house in Elfers, Florida, United States owned by Pasco County. On April 26, 1996, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Gulf High School is a four-year public high school in New Port Richey, Florida. It is part of the Pasco County School System in Pasco County, Florida. It is the first high school in western Pasco County and the second school in Pasco County to offer the International Baccalaureate Program, the other being Land O' Lakes High School. Gulf High School is so named because it was originally located less than one mile from the Gulf of Mexico.
