High Point was a census-designated place (CDP) in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. The population was 2,191 at the 2000 census. The CDP was removed from the 2010 census. Although it is still unincorporated, it is within Delray Beach's "future annexation area."

The Wakodahatchee Wetlands is a park located in Delray Beach, Florida. The park was created on 50 acres (20 ha) of unused utility land and transformed into a recreation wetlands open to the public with a three-quarter mile boardwalk that crosses between open water pond areas, emergent marsh areas, shallow shelves, and islands with shrubs and snags to foster nesting and roosting. The boardwalk has interpretive signage as well as gazebos with benches along the way. This site is part of the South section of the Great Florida Birding Trail and offers many opportunities to observe birds in their natural habitats.

Atlantic Community High School (also known as Atlantic and ATL and formerly called Seacrest High School) is a public high school located in Delray Beach, Florida, United States. It is part of the School District of Palm Beach County. Known for its academics, many students attend due to the school's International Baccalaureate program and its ranking as a top-rated school for many years. In the 2010 Newsweek ranking of America's best high schools, Atlantic High ranked 89th. In 2005, the school moved to its current location and added a freshman academy and a construction-oriented magnet program.

St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary is a Roman Catholic seminary located in Boynton Beach, Florida for the education and formation of seminarians to the Roman Catholic priesthood. St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary was established to form men for the diocesan and religious priesthood for the Catholic Church in North America, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. Laity are accepted into the program as well. It serves as the only Roman Catholic theologate in the Southeastern United States (located 1000 miles from the nearest seminary to the north, and 800 miles from the nearest seminary to the west), and serves as only one of two bilingual seminaries in the United States.

The Delray Beach Seaboard Air Line Railway Station (also known as the Delray Beach Railroad Station) is a historic Seaboard Air Line Railway depot in Delray Beach, Florida, United States. The station is located at 1525 West Atlantic Avenue. Constructed in 1927 and designed by Gustav Maass of the West Palm Beach architectural firm of Harvey & Clarke, it is identical to the Homestead Seaboard station further south, with the sole exception of its use of plain stucco rather than corinthian arches. In addition, the northern end of the station containing what was the freight room has been modified and enlarged since its original construction. The station was also identical to the Boynton Beach Seaboard depot just to the north, the destruction of which was authorized by the city of Boynton Beach in 2006 despite its historic nature.Amtrak continued passenger service to the station after taking over the Seaboard Silver Meteor and Silver Star routes in 1971. Tri-Rail began commuter rail service to the station in 1989, but in 1991 moved to a new Delray Beach station a few blocks south because of legal squabbles with the then-owner of the Seaboard station and poor access. Passenger service to the station halted completely in 1995 when Amtrak began using the Tri-Rail station as its Delray Beach stop.The station was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on September 4, 1986. On February 25, 2020, the station was largely destroyed by arson, and it is not known if the city of Delray Beach will continue with the restoration at this time.

Delray Beach station is a train station in Delray Beach, Florida, that is served by Tri-Rail and Amtrak. It is located on South Congress Avenue (SR 807), south of West Atlantic Avenue (SR 806) and east of State Road 9. The station officially opened in 1991 after legal squabbles and poor access led Tri-Rail to abandon the historic former Seaboard Air Line Railway depot located a few blocks north. Amtrak, which had also been using the old Seaboard depot, moved to the station in 1995. Its Silver Meteor and Silver Star stop at the station, which was remodeled between 2004 and 2006 to accommodate a second track.

Green Cay Wetlands (or Green Cay Wetlands and Nature Center) is a nature preserve located in Boynton Beach, Florida. The 100-acre (0.40 km2) property was purchased in 1999 from Ted and Trudy Winsberg, who used the property for farming. The Winsbergs sold the property for 1/3 of its appraised value with the condition that it would be made into a wetland. Construction began in July 2003. It was created jointly by the Palm Beach County Utilities Department and the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department in 2004. This park includes 1.5 miles (2.4 km) of an elevated wooden boardwalk, which takes visitors through various habitats, including cabbage palm hammock, cypress swamp, wetland hammock, and tropical hardwood hammock. The boardwalk also features a Seminole chickee hut as well as several gazebos, which have descriptive signs offering information on the wildlife and plant life. The Nature Center showcases exhibits on the water cycle as well as a turtle pond, frog terrarium, American alligator hole with young live alligators, and a wetland diorama. There is also a theater, gift shop, owl, and an exhibition hall inside. The park is a water reclamation facility, and naturally filters millions of gallons of water each day.

George Washington Carver High School was a public secondary school in Delray Beach, Florida. It served as the high school for black students in Delray Beach until the public schools were integrated in 1970.

Kings Point was a former census-designated place (CDP) and current unincorporated place in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States, located west of Delray Beach. The population was 12,207 as of the 2000 census. The CDP consists primarily of a retirement community of the same name. The 2012 documentary Kings Point depicted the lives of some of the residents and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary (Short Subject).
