W273CA (102.5 MHz, "La Z 102.5") is a non-commercial FM radio station translator in Orlando, Florida. It is owned by the Central Florida Educational Foundation, airing a Christian Spanish format branded as "La Z 102.5". From 2011 until February 2014, the translator aired a smooth jazz format as "102.5 WLOQ," when it was leased by iHeartMedia.

W283AN (104.5 FM) is an FM translator station licensed to cover Orlando, Florida. It rebroadcasts a mainstream urban format from the HD2 subchannel of WTKS-FM. The station, which was launched on February 12, 2014, is owned and operated by iHeartMedia. The station launched the day after WJHM shifted from Rhythmic CHR to Top 40/CHR. The station first signed on in 2007 as an FM translator for WREH-FM, carrying “ReachFM” programming. Reach Communications sold its translators along with others in the state of Florida, W283AN and W246BO (now W245CL), in 2012 and 2014 to rebroadcast WFLF and WYGM. Clear Channel (now iHeartMedia) moved the WFLF simulcast from WTKS-HD2/W283AN to WMGF-HD3/W273CA, which previously had rebroadcast WMGF-HD2 in order to launch an urban contemporary format, branded as “104.5 The Beat”. It launched the day prior to WJHM (now WQMP)’s switch to CHR from rhythmic contemporary, that station first flipped to the format in 2005 briefly to compete with WPYO and in 2012 to compete with WXXL, Orlando’s only CHR outlet at the time.

Built in 1998, the Orlando Sportsplex (formerly the RDV Sportsplex) is a multi-purpose sports and recreation facility that includes the Genesis Health Club, Genesis Ice Den, and nearly 100,000 square feet of Class A office/medical-use space occupied by tenants located in Orlando, Florida. The 365,000 square foot facility served as one of the most unique and comprehensive multi-purpose health and athletic facilities in the country and was home to the NBA's Orlando Magic practice facility and corporate offices until 2010. RDV Sportsplex was sold on December 13, 2022 to Genesis Health Clubs. Based in Wichita, Genesis Health Clubs came to the Central Florida market in June 2022 with the purchase of RDV sister facilities MVP Athletic Club-Brownwood and MVP Athletic Club-Spanish Springs in The Villages. Wekiva High School is a high school located in Apopka, Florida, United States. The school mascot is the mustang. The school colors are maroon, navy and gold. It was established in 2007 as a relief school for Apopka High School and Ocoee High School. Its principal since July 2023 is Kenisha Williams.

WOEX's studios and offices are located in Orlando on North John Young Parkway (Route 423). WOEX has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 99,000 watts (100,000 watts with beam tilt). The transmitter tower is in Bithlo, off Fort Christmas Road (Route 420). WOEX broadcasts in the HD Radio format; the HD2 subchannel carries the news/talk format found on co-owned WDBO.

It has over 135 locations (117 company owned and 18 franchised) throughout Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, and Indiana. Tijuana Flats restaurants are fast-casual hybrids with fresh food, hot sauce bars, art murals and off-beat culture. Customers order at the front counter and are served after taking a seat. The restaurant was founded in Winter Park, Florida, in 1995 by University of Central Florida graduate Brian Wheeler with US$20,000 in loans. The company had 18 locations before expanding out-of-state in 2004.

Maynard Evans High School is a high school located in Orlando, Florida, United States, served by Orange County Public Schools. The school's name is often shortened to "Evans High School" or "E-HIGH", and the mascot for the school are the Trojans. It primarily serves students from Pine Hills, in addition to some students from nearby Clarcona and Lockhart. The original main campus is located on Silver Star Road at the intersection of Pine Hills Road. Starting in 2010, the entire school was demolished and completely rebuilt; with construction completed in December 2011. The new campus reopened in 2012.Evans High's academic performance, based upon results of the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT), was consistently rated at a "D" or "F". However, the school improved in 2011 by earning a "C" for the first time in the school's history. As of the 2012-2013 school year, Evans received its first "B" in the school's history. The 9th Grade Center served as the main campus during construction, and the new campus was opened for classes on January 3, 2012.

Fairvilla is an unincorporated community in Orange County, Florida, United States. The community is located along U.S. Route 441 along the northern border of Orlando, and parts of it have been annexed by the city. The area is known as a commercial district and includes the Fairvilla Adult Superstore sex shop. During the 1980s, an urban legend began regarding a large red apeman known as the "Fairvilla Gorilla", which had supposedly been sighted in the area.

Pine Hills is a census-designated place (CDP) and unincorporated subdivision in Orange County, Florida, United States, west of Orlando. Per the 2020 U.S. Census, the population was 66,111. It is a part of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area (home to 2,134,311 people in 2010). Pine Hills is home to several parks, five elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school. As a part of the Florida Coast To Coast Bicycle Trail, the Pine Hills Trail is also being developed running from Barnett Park through the middle of the community to Clarcona-Ocoee Road. As a result of residential demographic shifts, the area has been described as a minority majority community. In response to years of neglect and blight, several revitalization efforts are currently underway in the community bringing results.
