West Kowloon

Sky100 (Chinese: 天際100) is a 360-degree indoor observation deck on the 100th floor of the International Commerce Centre, in West Kowloon, Hong Kong, near Kowloon station. The deck offers views of Hong Kong Island, Victoria Harbour, the Kowloon Peninsula and Tai Mo Shan in the background. Sky100 is located two floors below The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong. Visitors reach the observation deck using high-speed lifts, which travel from the entrance on the second floor to the 100th floor in 60 seconds.

The International Commerce Centre (abbreviated ICC) is a 108-storey, 484 m (1,588 ft) commercial skyscraper completed in 2010 in West Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is a part of the Union Square project on top of Kowloon station. It was the 4th tallest building in the world (third in Asia) when its construction was completed in 2010. As of June 2019, it is the world's 12th tallest building by height, world's ninth tallest building by number of floors, as well as the tallest building in Hong Kong and also the 6th tallest building within China if territories are included. Notable amenities include a hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, and an observatory, Sky100. The ICC faces the second-tallest skyscraper in Hong Kong, the 2 International Finance Centre (IFC) directly across Victoria Harbour in Central, Hong Kong Island. IFC was also developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties, along with another major Hong Kong developer, Henderson Land.

The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong (Chinese: 香港麗思卡爾頓酒店), is a Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company five-star hotel, located on the top floors of the International Commerce Centre, West Kowloon, Hong Kong, near Kowloon station. Offering 312 rooms, it occupies the 102nd to 118th floors of the Sun Hung Kai Properties-owned International Commerce Centre, was the world's highest hotel from 2011-2019 (currently surpassed by Rosewood Guangzhou located on the top floors of the Guangzhou CTF Finance Centre). The hotel features both a bar (called Ozone) and a pool located on the 118th floor, which are the highest bar and swimming pool in the world, at 484 metres (1,588 ft) above ground level.

Elements is a large shopping mall located at Union Square, on 1 Austin Road West, West Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is developed and managed by MTR Corporation through its subsidiary Premier Management Service.

W Hong Kong, a W Hotel, is a five-star hotel in Hong Kong, that occupies the first 25 floors of the Sun Hung Kai Properties-owned Cullinan II, Kowloon station, West Kowloon, offering a total of 393 guest rooms. It started trial operations on 8 August 2008, and official operations in January 2009.

The Cullinan is a luxury private housing estate located in the Union Square, West Kowloon, Hong Kong. The building has glass curtain walls and views of Victoria Harbour. The glass facade matches the design language of the neighbouring International Commerce Centre. This complex was named after the 3,106 carat (621.2 g) Cullinan Diamond found in 1905; the largest gem-quality rough diamond ever found, whose constituent cut diamonds are found in the British Crown Jewels and Elizabeth II's jewels. During development under Sun Hung Kai Properties, the complex went by Kowloon Station Development Package 6 and Union Square Phase 6. Both towers of The Cullinan complex, called The Cullinan North Tower and The Cullinan South Tower, are Hong Kong's tallest residential towers at 68 storeys and 270 metres (886 feet). They were completed in 2008 and 2009 respectively.

Kowloon is a station on the Tung Chung line and the Airport Express of Hong Kong's MTR. The station provides in-town check-in service for passengers departing from the Hong Kong International Airport and free shuttle bus services to most major hotels in the Tsim Sha Tsui and Yau Ma Tei areas. The station is located less than two hundred meters west of the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Express Rail Link Hong Kong section West Kowloon Terminus, five hundred meters west of Austin Station on the Tuen Ma Line and a kilometre west of Jordan station on the Tsuen Wan line. Escalators link Elements directly with the station concourse.

Union Square is a commercial and residential real estate project in Hong Kong on the West Kowloon reclamation. Covering 13.54 hectares (33.5 acres), the site has a gross floor area of 1,090,026 square metres (11,732,940 sq ft), approximately the size of the Canary Wharf development in London. As of 2011, the site contained some of the tallest buildings in Hong Kong — including the tallest commercial building in Hong Kong, the 118-storey International Commerce Centre and the loftiest residential tower in Hong Kong, The Cullinan (270-metre (890 ft) high).

The Grand Cinema was a cinema complex located in Hong Kong in the Elements Mall at Kowloon MTR station. Operating from 2007 to 2019 with 12 screens and 1,600 seats, it was Hong Kong's largest multiplex cinema in its time. It had an "active", "infrasonic" sound system and was a notable venue for independent films,making it the site of the Hong Kong Asian Independent Film Festival. The cinema was operated by Shaw Group and Multiplex Cinema Ltd. The former site of The Grand was acquired by Broadway Circuit and rebranded as the Premiere Cinema.

The Western Harbour Crossing (WHC) is a dual 3-lane immersed tube tunnel in Hong Kong. It is the third road tunnel to cross Victoria Harbour, linking the newly reclaimed land in Yau Ma Tei on Kowloon West with Sai Ying Pun on Hong Kong Island. It was constructed by the Western Harbour Tunnel Company Limited (WHTCL) on a 30-year franchise (1993–2023) build-operate-transfer (BOT) model proposed by the Government. Western Harbour Crossing (WHC) is the first three-lane road tunnel in Asia to be constructed using submerged pipe, and is the newest of the three Victoria Harbour road tunnels. It is part of the Airport Core Programme which was a comprehensive set of infrastructure projects associated with the airport at Chek Lap Kok. The tunnel carries on the Route 3 designation from the West Kowloon Highway, and connects to Route 4 on Hong Kong Island.

The Hong Kong Palace Museum is a planned museum exhibiting artefacts of Beijing's Palace Museum in Hong Kong's West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD). Construction began in April 2019 and is expected to open in July 2022.The decision to build the museum in Hong Kong has generated much controversy and criticism from civil society, largely due to the Hong Kong government's failure to conduct a public consultation exercise beforehand. The government subsequently launched a six-week consultation process whereby, instead of collecting views on whether the museum should be constructed, the public was merely invited to provide views on the museum's design and operation via a short questionnaire.

West Kowloon station (abbreviated WEK), also known as Hong Kong West Kowloon and West Kowloon, is the terminus and only station of the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Express Rail Link (HSR). The station connects to Mainland China's HSR network (world's longest) through dedicated tunnels and includes a Mainland Port Area where the laws of Mainland China are enforced. It was constructed by MTR Corporation.The terminal railway station is located in Jordan, West Kowloon, north of the proposed West Kowloon Cultural District between the Airport Express and Tung Chung line's Kowloon station and the Tuen Ma line's Austin station. The footprint of the new station extends into the basement of the West Kowloon Cultural District.The original scheduled opening date of 2012 was delayed until 2015 following the shake-up of high-speed rail construction across China after the 2011 Wenzhou train collision. While construction of the station was still planned for completion in 2015, major flooding occurred in the railway tunnels under construction on 30 March 2014. This resulted in great damage to the tunnel boring machines. Internal MTR reports suggested causes were incomplete tender drawings, site surveys, and planning before construction began. The station was formally opened on 4 September 2018 and high-speed trains started to run to destinations in Mainland China from 23 September 2018.RTHK reported that the final cost of the construction was 30% more than the initial estimate.Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Chief Executive Carrie Lam announced that West Kowloon station will be closed from 12AM on 30 January 2020, until further notice.
