HCA Florida Kendall Hospital (formerly Kendall Regional Medical Center) is a for-profit, tertiary care, 447-bed teaching hospital located in the Miami neighborhood of Kendall. HCA Healthcare owns and operates the hospital. HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is a teaching hospital that serves as the primary training location for several residency and fellowship programs. It currently hosts accredited residencies in the fields of anesthesia, emergency medicine, general surgery, internal medicine, and podiatry. It also hosts a fellowship in surgical critical care. HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is also involved in the training of medical students, and students training in other medical professions. It is affiliated with the Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and the University of South Florida College of Medicine, as well as accepting visiting medical students.

Founded in 1977 as 'The Art Museum at Florida International University', it was renamed 'The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum' in 2003. The museum is recognized for its collection of Latin American and 20th century American art, Haitian paintings, and a growing number of works by contemporary artists, especially from Latin American and Caribbean countries. In 1999, the museum received accreditation from the American Alliance of Museums (AAM), and it is also a member of the Smithsonian Affiliations program.From the community, the Frost Art Museum has earned the accolade "Miami's Best Museum" (South Florida's New Times, 1996, 1994, 1993) and "Miami's Best Art Museum 2009 (Miami New Times)."

TERRA Environmental Research Institute is a secondary school in Miami, Florida, United States that opened in 2009. It is a LEED certified school. This school has three magnet academies: Biomedical Research, Robotics & Engineering, and Environmental Research. Students have the option of supplementing their academy in the sophomore and junior year with the AP Capstone Program. The school was built to continue research while benefiting the environment. Infinity Insurance Park, formerly known as University Park Stadium and FIU Baseball Stadium, is a baseball stadium located on the campus of Florida International University in Westchester, Florida, United States. It is the home venue of the FIU Panthers college baseball team of the Division I Conference USA. The facility opened on January 26, 1996, with a 1–0 FIU victory against Bethune-Cookman and was built on the same site as its predecessor, which had stood since 1965 (albeit with a slightly differently angled field configuration). All-American Evan W. Thomas threw a complete game shutout. University Park Stadium has a seating capacity of 2,000 people. The largest crowd in the stadium's history was 2,473 on February 26, 2002, when FIU defeated their cross-town rivals the Miami Hurricanes 7–1.The team spent the 2005 season at the Homestead Sports Complex in Homestead while University Park Stadium underwent an expansion. In 2005, the facility hosted the Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament.In 2018 Infinity Insurance acquired the naming rights for the stadium.
