The Elliott Museum, located at 825 N.E. Ocean Blvd. on Hutchinson Island in Stuart, Florida, United States, focuses on art, history, and technology. Named after the prolific inventor Sterling Elliott, the museum features a changing exhibition gallery and an art studio; maritime, baseball, and local history galleries; and bicycles, classic wooden boats, motorcycles, over 90 cars and trucks, and even an airplane. Over 50 vehicles are displayed in a unique robotic racking system which retrieves vehicles on demand for display on a turntable. The Elliott Museum has one of the largest collections of historic Ford Model A and Model AA commercial vehicles in the world.

Tuckahoe, also known as the Leach Mansion or as the Mansion at Tuckahoe, is an historic home located at 1921 North East Indian River Drive in Jensen Beach, Martin County, Florida. The name was thought to be a Native American word for "welcome". It is inside the present day Indian RiverSide Park and is atop the Mount Elizabeth Archeological Site, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 14, 2002. On November 30, 2005, Tuckahoe itself was added to the National Register of Historic Places. On November 4, 2010, the Halpatiokee Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution placed a plaque on the building.

The Capt. Henry E. Sewall House is an historic wooden house now located in Indian RiverSide Park in Jensen Beach, in Martin County, Florida. Local pioneer and developer Capt. Henry E. Sewall built it in 1889 at the southern tip of Sewall's Point, the peninsula and town which bear his family name. When Capt. Sewall became the postmaster of Sewall's Point, the house served also as the Sewall's Point post office. Next to the house Capt. Sewall also built a freight dock that extended into the St. Lucie River along with a storage building at its end.In 1910, Capt Sewall and his wife Abbie (Evans) Sewall built a larger house higher up on the property and in 1913 the 1889 house was moved by barge across the St. Lucie River to a waterfront lot on what is now Old St. Lucie Boulevard in Port Sewall (now part of Stuart), where it stood until being moved by barge to Indian RiverSide Park in 2007. During its stay in Port Sewall the present small rectangular cupola was added to the roof of the house. During Prohibition, green or red lanterns were hung in the cupola to signal incoming bootleggers whether it was safe or not for them to offload their cargoes of alcohol.In 2008 the building was moved to its permanent location within Indian Riverside Park. In November 2012 the restored building was opened to the public.In 2012 the building was designated a Martin County Historic Property.

The Stuart Welcome Arch (also known as the 1926 Welcome Arch or Rio-Jensen Beach Arch) is an historic arch-shaped gateway that straddles County Road 707 between 2369 and 2390 Northeast Dixie Highway in Jensen Beach, Florida. It was built in 1926 to mark what were then the town lines of incorporated Jensen and Stuart and to herald Stuart as a "Gateway to the Gulf of Mexico."

The Krueger House is a historic house in Stuart, Martin County, Florida. It is located on the grounds of the historic Burn Brae Plantation. On February 14, 2002, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

The Mount Elizabeth Archeological Site, also known as Racey's Tuckahoe, St. Joseph's Novitiate or the Mount Elizabeth Indian Mound is a prehistoric midden and an archaeological site in Jensen Beach, Florida. It is located in Martin County's Indian RiverSide Park, which includes the former Florida Institute of Technology (Jensen Beach Campus) east of Indian River Drive on the Indian River Lagoon. On September 14, 2002, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The House of Refuge at Gilbert's Bar, also known as Gilbert's Bar House of Refuge, the House of Refuge Museum, or simply the House of Refuge, is a historic building located at 301 S.E. MacArthur Boulevard, on Hutchinson Island east of Stuart, Florida. It is the oldest surviving building in Martin County. This House of Refuge is the last remaining of the original dozen shipwreck life-saving stations on Florida's Atlantic Coast operated by the United States Life-Saving Service, one of the predecessor agencies to the United States Coast Guard. Built in 1876 to help stranded sailors, its long colorful history spans nearly 70 years. Today it is owned by the Martin County government and leased to the Martin County Historical Society, which operates it as a museum exhibiting life-saving equipment used over the years and showcasing the keeper's quarters, c. 1904. On May 3, 1974, the House of Refuge was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

The Georges Valentine Shipwreck Site is the site of the historic shipwreck of an Italian barkentine off the coast of Hutchinson Island in Martin County, Florida, with the nearest landmark being the House of Refuge at Gilbert's Bar. The iron-hulled barque was built in Wallasey, England in 1869 by Bowdler Chaffer & Company for S. Meyers & Company. Originally christened Cape Clear with Lloyd's of London in 1870, she started her career as a screw steamboat with auxiliary sail carrying passengers on the Australia - Liverpool run. She was purchased by a French firm based in Bordeaux in 1889, re-christened Georges Valentine and turned into a sailing bark by being stripped of all steam machinery except the boiler. Rigged as a three-masted barkentine, she was then sold to a firm based in Dunkirk, northern France. In 1895, she was sold to Mortolo & Simonetti, based in Genoa, Italy. She was based in Camogli, northern Italy and transported lumber regularly from Pensacola, Florida to South America. In October 1904, the Georges Valentine, with a crew of twelve men commanded by Captain Prospero Mortolo, sailed with a load of milled mahogany from Pensacola bound for Buenos Aires. On 13 October 1904 the ship sighted Havana, Cuba, but she later hit a storm in the Florida Straits and was blown up the Atlantic coast of Florida where on 16 October 1904, despite her crew's attempts to keep her in deeper water, she ran aground in shallow water and wrecked off Hutchinson Island near Gilbert's Bar. Five crew members perished. Their bodies were not recovered. The seven survivors found refuge at the House of Refuge just 100 yards from the wreck site, where the House of Refuge's keeper, Captain William E. Rea, rendered aid to them.On 19 July 2006, the Georges Valentine Shipwreck Site was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. On 16 October 2006, it became the eleventh Florida Underwater Archaeological Preserve.

All Saints' Episcopal Church, Waveland, is an historic Carpenter Gothic church built in 1898 on Crossroads Hill in Waveland, now part of Jensen Beach, Florida. It is the oldest church building located in what is now Martin County, Florida. It is also the northernmost parish in the present-day Episcopal Diocese of Southeast Florida. The church was built on Brevard County. From 1910-25, it was in St. Lucie County. Since 1925, it has been in Martin County. Its rector, W. Frisby Hendricks III recently, retired and the parish is starting the search process to call a new rector.In 1963, the church building was moved a few 100 feet to a more prominent place (which now has the address of 2377 N.E. Patrician Street) at the top of Crossroads Hill. A new rectory (now the parish offices) was built on the old location, which now has the address of 2303 N.E. Seaview Drive, which is the church's mailing address. Since being moved, the church building has been added onto twice but care was taken to preserve its architectural integrity.In 1989, All Saints Episcopal Church was listed in A Guide to Florida's Historic Architecture, published by the University of Florida Press.All Saints Episcopal Church is also featured in the 2009 Historic Episcopal Churches Engagement Calendar published by the National Episcopal Historians and Archivists.

The Martin County Fair is one of the largest agricultural fairs in the United States, occurring annually in February in Stuart, Florida. Established in 1960, this Fair is held at the Martin County Fairgrounds across from Witham Airfield. The fair includes rides and food, and features various local talents. Strict measures, such as social distancing & wearing masks, were undertaken in 2021, but have been suspended since 2022.
