Versailles High School is a public high school in Versailles, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Versailles Exempted Village School District. The Versailles Tigers are a member of the Midwest Athletic Conference. The current High School Principal is Jacki Stonebraker.

The Versailles Town Hall and Wayne Township House, located at 4 West Main Street in Versailles, Ohio, in the United States, is an historic brick town hall building built between 1875 and 1876 by joint resolution of the Versailles Village Council and the Wayne Township Trustees. It is also known as the Versailles Village Hall. On February 18, 1981, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church is a historic church building in northeastern Darke County, Ohio, United States. Located south of the village of Versailles, it is believed to be the region's last remaining log church built during the period of settlement. Although Wayne Township was settled primarily by individuals of English and French descent, the members of St. Peter's Church were Germans. The church was built in 1850 by its members upon land donated by Frederick Frengott Seibt; the congregation erected their church on the lower portion of this ground and plotted their cemetery on the upper portion. Since that time, the structure has been modified little; the only significant change has been the addition of a small belfry in 1867. Inside, the church retains a high degree of historic integrity: still in place are the wood-burning stove, the reed organ, the hand-carven pulpit, and the original sandblasted windows.In 1980, St. Peter's Church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, both because of its well-preserved historic architecture and because of its place in the settlement of the region. It is one of four churches in Darke County that are listed on the National Register, and the only one that is not Catholic.

The William English House is a historic farmhouse in the far western portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. Located along State Route 47 northeast of the village of Versailles in the northeastern corner of Darke County, the house was built in 1881 as the residence of William English, an astronomically-inclined farmer. English was a native of Ireland who immigrated to the United States in 1823. Besides farming, English operated a brickworks on his property, and his employees generally lived in the same house as his family. Consequently, the house is significantly larger than was necessary for the family members alone.When English erected a new Italianate house in 1881, he ensured that its details aligned with certain astronomical features. Four doors and eight windows on the front (western side) of the house are placed to face exactly westward, and multiple doors on recessed porches on the southern side of the house are placed so that the sun's light illuminates them at noon on a certain day of the year. The house's location atop a small hill overlooking State Route 47 ensures that the light of the sun is more frequently cast upon it.In 1982, the English House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places because of its well-preserved historic architecture.

Darke County Airport (ICAO: KVES, FAA LID: VES) is a county-owned, public-use airport in Darke County, Ohio, United States. It is located two nautical miles (4 km) southwest of the central business district of Versailles. It is along State Route 121 just south of Versailles. Midmark operates a private jet from this airport. The airport is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation facility. Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, this airport is assigned VES by the FAA, but has no designation from the IATA. In 2007, light lenses were stolen from the airport. Officials said the theft could endanger pilots. The airport holds events such as fly-ins that feature old warbird aircraft, medical helicopters, and highway patrol aircraft. CareFlight Air & Mobile has a helicopter based at the airport, which serves as the company's northwest base. The helicopter was activated to respond to calls in early 2020.
