Witherspoon Lodge No. 111 Free and Accepted Masons (F&AM) is a historic building located is at 1410 North Clayton Street in Mount Dora, Florida, United States. The building was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 2009.The building is named for Witherspoon Lodge, a Prince Hall tradition Masonic lodge chartered by the Union Grand Lodge of Florida, which purchased the building in 1903. The building served as a meeting place for the lodge for many years, but as of 2013 the lodge is listed as inactive.The building also served as a school for African-American children from 1922 to 1925.It was built around 1921.

It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and National Christian School Association. Mount Dora Christian Academy uses State of Florida adopted curriculum adhering to the Sunshine State Standards. Standardized tests are administered in March each academic year 9th-11th grades. The PSAT/NMSQT is administered in October each year to 10th and 11th grades.

Mount Dora Historic District is a U.S. historic district in Mount Dora, Florida, Lake County. The district is roughly bounded by 3rd Avenue, 11th Avenue, Clayton Street, and Helen Street. The historic district features many buildings from the early 20th century.The historic district is home to many festivals throughout the year, including the Mount Dora Craft Fair and the Mount Dora Art Festival, which draws an estimated 150,000 to 200,000 people to the town.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 1, 2009.

The Mount Dora Museum of Speed was located in Mount Dora, Florida in Lake County, Florida. Exhibits in the replica art deco museum included American muscle cars, automobile memorabilia and an Americana collection.Opened in 2001, the 7,000-square-foot showroom was both a dealer showroom for classic cars and a museum with changing exhibits. Bogard opened the museum to house his collection when he and his wife retired to the area from Jupiter, Florida. In addition to rare cars, displays included quarter midget race cars, pedal cars, a 1940s Texaco gas station, vintage road signs, juke boxes, Coca-Cola machines, gas pumps, neon signs, electric guitars autographed by rock musicians including Aerosmith, Jon Bon Jovi and Stevie Ray Vaughan, autographed television memorabilia and more.The museum closed in November 2019, selling all exhibits, due to the retirement of founder Kerry M. Bogard.

The Donnelly House (also known as the Mt. Dora Lodge No. 238 F&AM) is a historic home in Mount Dora, Florida. It is located on Donnelly Avenue. On April 4, 1975, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. John P. Donnelly, a native of Pittsburg, came to Mount Dora in 1879. In 1881, he married Annie McDonald Stone, a prominent landholder in the community. Successful in a number of real estate and business ventures, Donnelly built this imposing Queen Anne style house in 1893. He was among the founders of the local yacht club, and served as the city's first mayor in 1910. In 1924, he sold the land for the park named for his wife, who had died in 1908. He died in 1930. The Donnelly House, now owned by Mount Dora Lodge #238, F.&A.M., was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on April 4, 1975.

The Old Mount Dora A. C. L. Railroad Station (also known as the Mount Dora Chamber of Commerce) is a historic Atlantic Coast Line Railroad (ACL) depot in Mount Dora, Florida. It is located at 341 North Alexander Street. It was built by ACL in 1915, replacing an earlier depot built in 1895 when the line was part of the Plant System. The station's design, which includes elements of the Queen Anne and Romanesque Revival styles, is similar to other ACL stations of the era. The line was mainly used to ship citrus fruit and other agricultural products, though its passenger trains also brought tourists to the city. Passenger service ended in 1949, and the Mount Dora Chamber of Commerce bought the station in 1981. On March 5, 1992, the station was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

The Lakeside Inn is a historic site in Mount Dora, Florida. It is located at 100 North Alexander Street. On March 19, 1987, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It was for sale in 2010, and purchased by new owners, who planned to renovate it, later that year. Built in 1883, Lakeside Inn is the oldest continuously operating hotel in the State of Florida. The last of the Grand Victorian Era Hotels still remaining in Central Florida it is said to be the most historic hotel there. Throughout its 130-year history, Lakeside Inn has hosted many noted dignitaries and celebrities, including President Calvin Coolidge and First Lady Grace Coolidge, for a month-long stay in the winter of 1930. Lakeside Inn has also been distinguished as the number one venue in the Central Florida Lakes Region for wedding ceremonies and receptions
