Target Hill Park is a 9-hectare (22-acre) Local Nature Reserve in Crawley in West Sussex. It is owned by Crawley Borough Council and managed by the council and Gatwick Greenspace Partnership.The diverse habitats in this park include ponds, wetlands, woodlands, meadows and scrub. There are reptiles such as slow-worms, adders and common lizards, while butterflies include skippers, meadow brown, small heaths and ringlets.There is access from Buchan Country Park and Hobbs Road.

Ifield Water Mill is a 19th-century weatherboarded watermill in the Ifield neighbourhood of Crawley, a town and borough in West Sussex, England. Built on the site of an earlier, smaller flour mill, which itself replaced an iron forge—one of many in the Crawley area—it fell into disuse in the 1930s. The local council, which acquired the land for housing development in the 1970s, leased the mill to local enthusiasts, who restored it to working order. The mill and an associated house are listed buildings, and there is also a cottage (not listed) on the site.

The Holy Trinity Church of England Secondary School is a voluntary-aided comprehensive school in Crawley, West Sussex, England. The school has a roll of around 1300 students.In December 2015, Paul Kennedy left as head teacher. In April 2015, Reverend Millwood was chosen as the new head. Holy Trinity offers a range of GCSE, BTEC and A-Level courses. These are both vocational and part of the English Baccalaureate. Subjects range from English, to languages to Art. Holy Trinity also offers a WorkSkills course, which is designed as a GCSE subject to prepare students for future employment. There is a sixth form centre if students wish to continue their studies at an advanced level. The school has a main site with new additions built on to it over time. These include a drama studio, Sports Hall and the 'Chichester Refectory' (the school's canteen). In 2014, P. Sumner left as deputy head teacher after serving over 24 years at the school. In September 2014, R. Bradley was announced and became the school's new deputy head teacher.

Buchan Hill Ponds is a 19.5-hectare (48-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest on the south-west outskirts of Crawley in West Sussex.This site consists of two ponds and adjacent wet woodland. The ponds, which were formed by damming streams, have seventeen species of dragonfly, two of which are nationally uncommon, the hairy dragonfly and downy emerald. The woods have a rich ground flora, including marsh violet, opposite leaved golden saxifrage and wood avens.The ponds are part of Buchan Country Park, which is open to the public.

Ifield railway station (pronounced 'Eye-field') serves the neighbourhoods of Ifield and Gossops Green in the West Sussex town of Crawley, England. It is on the Arun Valley Line, 31 miles 66 chains (51.2 km) down the line from London Bridge, measured via Redhill. Train services are provided by Thameslink and Southern.

Broadfield is one of 14 neighbourhoods within the town of Crawley in West Sussex, England. Broadfield is located in the south west of the town. It is bordered by Bewbush to the north, Southgate to the north east and Tilgate to the east. Broadfield is split across three local government wards, Broadfield, Bewbush & North Broadfield and Gossops Green & North East Broadfield. Broadfield was built in several stages and is relatively densely populated. There is a mixture of property types, including private estates, housing association, council houses and self-build. Broadfield has one central shopping parade, the Barton, which is one of the largest neighbourhood parade in the town. Unlike many of the parades in the town, which are council run, the Barton is owned and managed by the shop-owners. There is a wide variety of shops, a library, a church (shared by Anglicans, Catholics and Broadfield Christian Fellowship), a nearby mosque and a large medical centre. There is also a community centre which is run as a charitable organisation overseen by trustees from the churches. There are two infant/primary schools in the neighbourhood, an adventure playground, several open spaces with football pitches, and Broadfield Stadium, home to Crawley Town Football Club. In 2005 a purpose-built Sure Start Children's Centre was opened on Creasys Drive providing support and facilities for families of under 5's. The Broadfield centre works closely with a similar establishment in Bewbush. Next to the stadium is Broadfield Park which used to be part of the Tilgate Estate. Broadfield House was the hunting lodge for the estate, and the park contains a small lake and some woods. To the south of Broadfield are the Buchan Country Park and part of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty at Pease Pottage. The latter is currently home to a Scout camp. Broadfield is served by various bus services including the 24-hour Fastway bus service to Gatwick Airport.

Gossops Green is also a local government ward.

Kilnwood Vale is a proposed railway station in Kilnwood Vale, Horsham, West Sussex which would serve the neighbourhoods of Kilnwood Vale and Bewbush. The station would be located between Faygate and Ifield stations. The other new proposed station at North Horsham Parkway had greater support due to the predicted higher usage for future developments in north Horsham
