The Asian Pacific Development Center is a non-profit organization assisting Asian immigrants in the Denver, Colorado, metropolitan area. Founded in 1980 to provide outpatient mental health therapy and counseling, it expanded its offerings a few years later to include acclimation assistance including classes in English as a second language, job placement, and youth activities. The center provides interpreters and translation services in courts, hospitals, and businesses as well. Services are available in 35 different languages.

United Airlines Flight 696 was a flight from San Francisco International Airport in San Francisco, California, to Seattle, Washington, with 75 people in board on March 13, 1978 which was hijacked by a man claiming to have a bomb. The incident resulted in no serious injuries and arrest of the hijacker, Clay Thomas.

United Airlines Flight 859 was a Douglas DC-8, registration N8040U, on a scheduled passenger flight that crashed on landing at Stapleton International Airport in Denver, Colorado after departing from Omaha, Nebraska's Eppley Airfield on July 11, 1961. Eighteen people were killed, and 84 were injured. The crash was caused by the failure of the two port engines to generate reverse thrust, which sent the aircraft off the runway. One of the plane's fuel tanks subsequently ruptured and ignited.

Stapleton International Airport (IATA: DEN, ICAO: KDEN, FAA LID: DEN) was a major airport in the western United States, and the primary airport of Denver, Colorado, from 1929 to 1995. It was a hub for Continental Airlines, the original Frontier Airlines, People Express, United Airlines, and Western Airlines. Other airlines with smaller operations at Stapleton included Aspen Airways, Frontier Airlines, and Rocky Mountain Airways, all three being based in Denver at the time.Stapleton International Airport was replaced by Denver International Airport in 1995; it was closed and the property redeveloped as the commercial and residential neighborhood of Central Park, which was named Stapleton until 2020. The former Stapleton International Airport codes were transferred to the new airport, which continues to use them today.

Denver School of the Arts (DSA) is a comprehensive, public, arts magnet school, serving grades 6–12. Located at 7111 Montview Boulevard in the Park Hill neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, the school is operated by the Denver Public School District. DSA currently offers 11 art majors – bands, creative writing, dance & movement, guitar, orchestra, piano, stagecraft & design, theatre, video cinema arts, visual arts, and vocal music.

The 72-foot Olinger Tower contains the Charles S. Hill Memorial Carillon, the oldest authentic carillon in Colorado. From 1961 through 1999, the Hill Carillon was the only manually played carillon in Colorado.

The Logan School for Creative Learning is a private school in Denver, Colorado that serves gifted students grades K-8. The mission of The Logan School for Creative Learning is to "cultivate the curiosities of gifted children." The Logan School for Creative Learning is a progressive school with a dynamic curriculum that teaches the way children learn by giving them hands-on experiences fueled by their own curiosities. Logan students, aged 4.5–14 years old, are co-architects with their teachers in building meaningful units of study that not only address the traditional academics but also emphasize research, reasoning and recording.

The 1993 World Youth Day was held on August 10–15, 1993 in Denver, Colorado. It was the first World Youth Day held in either North America or an English-speaking nation. The World Youth Day is an event for young people organized by the Roman Catholic Church. It is celebrated every two to three years at different locations.

Richthofen Castle is a historic 35-room mansion in the neighborhood of Montclair in the City and County of Denver, Colorado, United States. Completed in 1887, it was originally designed by Alexander Cazin for Baron Walter von Richthofen, a German immigrant and member of the prominent Richthofen aristocratic family. Additions and remodels on the house were later made by Maurice Biscoe and Henry Hewitt in 1910 and Jules Jaques Benedict in 1924. The mansion was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

The Aurora Fox Arts Center is located at 9900 E Colfax Avenue in Aurora, Colorado in the Aurora Cultural Arts District. It is the City of Aurora's performing arts center run by the City of Aurora Cultural Services Division and supported by the many theater-goers.

The Granville Fuller House is a Queen Anne style home located at 2027 Galena St, in Aurora, Colorado, United States. It was built in 1892, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The house is one of only a few surviving and intact houses commissioned by Aurora's founder, real estate developer Donald Fletcher.

Richthofen Place Parkway is a historic parkway in Denver, Colorado. On September 17, 1986, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
