Limone sul Garda

Malcesine is a comune (municipality) on the eastern shore of Lake Garda in the Province of Verona in the Italian region Veneto, located about 120 kilometres (75 miles) northwest of Venice and about 40 kilometres (25 miles) northwest of Verona.

Molina di Ledro was a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. On January 1, 2010 it merged (with Pieve di Ledro, Bezzecca, Concei, Tiarno di Sopra and Tiarno di Sotto) in the new municipality of Ledro. It is the most populated frazione of the municipality. It is located about 35 km southwest of Trento.

The Giardino Botanico Preistorico di Molina di Ledro is a botanical garden on the grounds of the Museo delle Palafitte del Lago di Ledro, located in Val di Ledro near Lake Garda at Via Lungolago, 1, Molina di Ledro, Trentino, Italy. It is open daily in the warmer months; an admission fee is charged. The garden was established in 1994 by the Museo delle Palafitte del Lago di Ledro, and contains cultivated plants that reflect Bronze Age archaeological finds at the site: seeds, dried fruits, and food remnants. Six flowerbeds contain archaic breeds of cereal grains, including barley and wheat, from seeds provided by institutes specializing in the conservation of plant genetic heritage. The garden also contains wild food plants such as berries and fruit.

The Ponale is a 7-kilometre-long (4 mi) river originating in Lake Ledro (Lago di Ledro) in Trentino, Northern Italy. The river first passes Molina di Ledro, Prè di Ledro and Biacesa, there feeding a fish farm. Starting from Biacesa the Ponale enters a steep canyon, and after a cascade the Ponale flows into Lake Garda close to Porto del Ponale.

Lago di Ledro is a lake in Trentino, northern Italy. The lake is at an elevation of 655 metres (2,149 ft), and its surface area is 2.187 km2 (0.844 sq mi). Lake Ledro is reputed to be one of the cleanest lakes in Trentino, and during the summer it reaches a temperature of 24 °C (75 °F), attracting tourists with its four bathing banks. In 2009 and 2011, the lake suffered from algal blooms, caused by Planktothrix.

Monte Rocchetta is a 1,575 m mountain near Lake Garda, close to the city of Riva del Garda in the Trentino province of Italy.

Bocca di Navene is a mountain saddle in the Monte Baldo range in the Garda Mountains in northern Italy. The saddle separates the more solitary Monte Altissimo di Nago (2078 m) in the north from the rest of the range with the long ridge with Cima Valdritta (2292 m) in the south. On the western side a steep hiking path leads down to lake Garda, while at the eastern side the slopes are more gentle and fall down to the small barrier lake Lago di Prà della Stua. Bocca di Navene is also at the border between the Italian provinces of Trentino and Veneto.

Ponale Hydroelectric Power Plant (Italian: Centrale idroelettrica del Ponale) is a pumped storage plant, located in city of Riva del Garda in the Italian province of Trentino, on River Ponale between Lake Ledro and Lake Garda. Its output capability is 76MW.The station was built in 1928-1929 and, following rework of the pipes, underwent overhaul in 1998.From Lake Ledro, the water is ducted several kilometers to penstocks at a point (close to the Chiesa di Santa Barbara) almost directly above the power station buildings and machinery at Riva del Garda; from here it falls on a gradient approaching 3:1 to the turbines.The station is known by the world record in high-rise concrete pumping during the reconstruction in 1994. The achieved record was 532m.During construction of the plant, there was discovered the remains of a Bronze Age pile-dwelling village (over 10 000 piles) on the east of the Lake Ledro.

Ledro (in local dialect: Léder) is an Italian comune (municipality) in Trentino in northern Italy. It was created on January 1, 2010, by the union of the former comuni of Pieve di Ledro, Bezzecca, Concei, Molina di Ledro, Tiarno di Sopra and Tiarno di Sotto.

Pieve di Ledro was a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. On January 1, 2010 it merged (with Bezzecca, Concei, Molina di Ledro, Tiarno di Sopra and Tiarno di Sotto) in the new municipality of Ledro, as its municipal seat. It is located about 35 km southwest of Trento. On July 18, 1866 the village was the theatre of a battle part of the Third Italian War of Independence. It was the prelude of the Battle of Bezzecca.

Riva del Garda (Rìva in local dialect) is a town and comune in the northern Italian province of Trento of the Trentino Alto Adige region. It is also known simply as Riva and is located at the northern tip of Lake Garda.
