Radstadt

The Ski Amadé region of Austria is a network of 28 ski areas and towns that combined, make up the second largest ski area in Europe. It is named after the composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart who was born in the city of Salzburg.

The Northern Taurach (German: Nördliche Taurach), also called the Pongau Taurach (German: Pongauer Taurach), is a river of the state Salzburg in Austria. Its drainage basin is 88 km2 (34 sq mi).The Northern Taurach is a right-hand tributary of the Enns near Radstadt. It is one of the two rivers named Taurach, both of which rise near the Radstädter Tauern Pass, but drain in opposite directions – the other is called Southern Taurach. The two valleys, which descend from the Tauern Pass, are also both called Taurach Valley (Taurachtal). Together they link the Enns valley to the Mur valley in north–south direction. The Northern Taurach is about 20 kilometres (12 mi) long and thus considerably shorter than the Southern Taurach, but has a greater height difference from source to mouth of over 900 metres (3,000 ft).

Kälberloch is a World Cup downhill ski course in Austria, located on Gamskogel (Radstadt Tauern) mountain in Zauchensee, Altenmarkt im Pongau, Salzburg; it debuted in 1990.Kälberloch is considered the most demanding course on the women's World Cup circuit; it hosted the season final speed events for men and women in March 2002, with the technical events on the "Griessenkar" course. The start fall is so steep (70% gradient) it is impossible to walk uphill; the only access to the start at ridge overhang with barely any space, is via a steep cog railway.

St. Martin am Tennengebirge is a municipality in the St. Johann im Pongau district in the Austrian state of Salzburg.

The Große Bischofsmütze (German: "great bishop's mitre") is the highest peak in the Gosaukamm range of the Dachstein Mountains, Austria. Together with the Kleine Bischofsmütze (2,430 metres [7,970 ft]), the Große Bischofsmütze (2,458 metres [8,064 ft]) forms a distinctive twin-peak, with the two summits separated by the Mützenschlucht ravine. The mountain is in the state of Salzburg, near the border with Upper Austria, and forms part of the larger Northern Limestone Alps.
