Georgetown is the territorial charter municipality that is the county seat of Clear Creek County, Colorado, United States. The town population was 1,118 at the 2020 United States Census. The town stretches roughly north–south along Clear Creek, hemmed in by the mountains, with the historic downtown located at the southern (upper) end and modern development located at the northern (lower) end of town. Georgetown is now a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Front Range Urban Corridor.

Silver Creek is a mining ghost town in Clear Creek County, Colorado, United States. The town never had a post office of its own, but received its mail via the Lawson post office. The town is only accessible via unimproved road. Most of the mines were located upstream from the town.

The Hotel de Paris is an historic hotel and museum located in the town of Georgetown, Colorado. The building stands on 6th Street, across from Georgetown Town Hall, in the eastern end of the town. Originally opened in 1875 by French immigrant Louis Dupuy, the hotel became famous for its luxury and the high-class French cuisine offered to visitors, at the height of the Colorado Silver Boom in Georgetown and the Mountain West. The museum is a popular tourist attraction, known for its well-preserved interiors containing over 5,000 items from the Victorian era, 90% of which are original to the Dupuy era. It was purchased in 1954 by the Colorado chapter of the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America, which have operated it as a museum ever since.

Grace Episcopal Church is an historic Carpenter Gothic church in Georgetown, Colorado. Built in 1870, it now overlooks Interstate 70. Grace Episcopal is still an active church in the Episcopal Diocese of Colorado. On August 14, 1973, the church was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Alpine Hose Company No. 2 was organized in Georgetown, Colorado. Its building at 507 5th St. in Georgetown, dating from 1874 was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.The building consists of two structures: a hose house which was built in 1878, and a bell tower built in 1880.

The Toll House is a residence in Clear Creek County, Colorado. It was built by 1878 near the toll gates of a private road linking mines between the towns of Silver Plume, Colorado and Georgetown, Colorado. The home belonged to Julius G. Pohle, an officer of the Lebanon Mining Company; the Lebanon Mine was one of the earliest hard rock silver mines in Colorado, operating from around 1870 until the 1940s. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970.The home is located on the southern side of Georgetown, Colorado adjacent to (and below) Interstate 70. It appears to be viewable from an overlook off the northbound I-70. It would be accessed by what is now known as Loop Road or as the Silver Plume to Georgetown Express.It is described as a wood-frame house, but has particularly sturdy construction using 10 by 10 inches (25 cm × 25 cm) beams and 4 by 4 inches (10 cm × 10 cm) upright posts. It has a brick veneer exterior. It can be and apparently has been moved.It is Gothic Revival in style.

The Georgetown–Silver Plume National Historic Landmark District is a federally designated United States National Historic Landmark that comprises the Town of Georgetown, the Town of Silver Plume, and the Georgetown Loop Historic Mining & Railroad Park between the two silver mining towns along Clear Creek in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains in Clear Creek County, Colorado, United States. The district includes well-preserved examples of the buildings and mining structures of the Colorado Silver Boom from 1864 to 1893. The Georgetown Loop Historic Mining & Railroad Park includes the reconstructed Georgetown Loop, a spectacular example of 19th-century 3 ft (914 mm) narrow gauge railway engineering required to negotiate the 601 feet (183 meters) of elevation rise in the mere 2.0 miles (3.2 kilometers) between the two towns. Historic steam locomotives pull passenger trains over the loop from late May through the beautiful Autumn colors of early October. Guided tours of the Lebanon Silver Mine are also available. The district was designated a National Historic Landmark on 1966-11-13.
