Monarch High School (MHS) is a secondary school located in Louisville, Colorado, and is part of the Boulder Valley School District. The school was named a John Irwin School of Excellence for the 2004–2005 school year. In 2007, Monarch was named the Sixth Best High School in the Denver Metro Area by 5280 Magazine. As of 2015, Newsweek magazine ranked the high school 356th in the US, out of the top 500.

The City of Louisville () is a home rule municipality located in southeastern Boulder County, Colorado, United States. The city population was 21,226 at the 2020 United States Census. Louisville began as a rough mining community in 1877, suffered through a period of extraordinary labor violence early in the 20th century, and then, when the mines closed in the 1950s, made a transition to a suburban residential community. CNN/Money and Money magazine have consistently listed Louisville as one of the 100 best places to live in the United States, ranking it among the top 100 in 2007, 2009 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2017.

The CDP is a part of the Boulder, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population of the Paragon Estates CDP was 928 at the United States Census 2010. The Boulder post office (Zip Code 80303) serves the area.

The Robinson House in Louisville, Colorado, at 301 Spruce, also known as the Cedarberg House, was built in 1904. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.It is a vernacular wood frame two-and-a-half-story house with a Colonial Revival style porch extending across its front. The house was deemed significant as "one of the best and most elaborate examples of vernacular wood frame architecture in Louisville. In a community consisting primarily of one to one and one-half story modest frame houses, the Robinson House remains as one of Louisville's largest historic residences. The interior is one of the most elaborate and most intact, adding to its architectural significance."It was listed as part of a 1985 multiple property study focusing on historic buildings of Louisville. The study identified this house and seven others as reflective of "Louisville's evolution and development during the heyday of coal mining which brought the town into existence."

FlatIron Crossing is an enclosed shopping center in Broomfield, Colorado, anchored by Macy's, Dillard's, and Dick's Sporting Goods. An outdoor lifestyle center, named FlatIron Village; extends out of the mall's southern side and is anchored by a 14-screen AMC Theatres cinema and several restaurants. Others stores at the mall include 2nd & Charles, Crate & Barrel, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, H&M, and Old Navy.

The Rhoades House, at 1024 Grant Ave. in Louisville, Colorado in Boulder County, Colorado, was built in 1906. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.It was originally owned by George W. Rhoades. In 1985 it was deemed "one of the best intact examples of Queen Anne Vernacular architecture in Louisville, and well illustrates the modest housing erected by coal miners in the community in the early 20th century." At the time of listing both its interior and exterior were "virtually intact".It may in fact be a Sears catalog house.The property also included a contributing structure: a historic frame shed, and a non-contributing garage.

The International Slide Rule Museum (ISRM) is an American museum dedicated to the preservation and display of slide rules and other mathematical artefacts. Established in 2003 by Michael Konshak, who serves as its curator, the museum houses a collection of slide rules from divers manufacturers and time periods, showcasing the evolution and importance of these instruments in the history of mathematics and engineering. It is often identified to be one of the largest repositories of slide rules and logarithmic calculators on the Web.

The Ginacci House, at 1116 LaFarge St. in Louisville, Colorado, was built around 1908. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. It is a one-story masonry house with a hipped roof, having two arched doors and two arched windows on its front facade. Gingerbread trim decorates a front porch and a gable in the center of the roof.Among homes built for coal miners in Louisville, the house is unusual for its red brick construction and for association with Italian heritage. A 1926 extension housed a spaghetti-making machine.It has also been known as the Leary House.

Redstone College was an American for-profit institution of higher learning owned by Alta Colleges Inc. that had two campus locations in Colorado, one in Broomfield, and the other in Westminster. Redstone had been accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). Like Westwood College, also owned by Alta Colleges, Redstone was subject to federal and state lawsuits and a class action by students. ACICS accreditation privileges were revoked by the US Department of Education in 2016 and shut down. Spartan Education Group purchased the Broomfield campus of Redstone College in April, 2016. It is now a campus of the Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology.

Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (IATA: BJC, ICAO: KBJC, FAA LID: BJC) is a public-use airport located in Broomfield, Colorado, United States. The airport is owned and operated by Jefferson County and is situated midway between Denver and Boulder on U.S. Highway 36. It is located 16 miles (26 km) northwest of the central business district of Denver, and is the closest airport to downtown Denver. The airport covers 1,700 acres (688 ha) and has three runways. Formerly known as Jefferson County Airport or Jeffco Airport, the airport was renamed Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport on October 10, 2006, although it is sometimes referred to as Rocky Mountain Regional Airport, e.g. on 2007–2012 county planning documents. This airport is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a reliever airport. It is home to a large general aviation population including a fair amount of corporate traffic and several flight schools. The airport's proximity to the nearby Interlocken business district contributes to its business traveler clientele. It has a control tower on 118.6 (local) and 121.7 (ground) that is open from 0600 to 2200 local time. ATIS/AWOS broadcasts on 126.25. There are three runways - 12/30 Left and Right, and 3/21. The runway numbers were changed in November 2014 to reflect a change in magnetic variation. Two fixed-base operators (FBOs) offer fuel and other services.
