The Brannan Sand and Gravel Pit No. 8-Lake Sangraco Boathouse Complex was a gravel and sand pit located in Adams County, Colorado that was converted to a private boating and recreational venue. Once the gravel pit dried up, Lloyd S. Brannan converted the pit to a lake, named Lake Sangraco, along with surrounding buildings being renovated for entertainment. According to the listing, “ Lake Sangraco is significant in the area of Conservation and Reclamation as an outstanding model of the ability to convert and reclaim natural resources depleted by mining operations, exemplifying the ongoing functionality of mined resources. Additionally, the main buildings are good examples of the Mid-Century Modern style as adapted to recreational buildings“. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.

Clear Creek/Federal station (sometimes stylized as Clear Creek•Federal) is a Regional Transportation District (RTD) commuter rail station on the G Line located in the unincorporated community of Berkley, Colorado between Denver Union Station and Wheat Ridge, on an embanked section of track immediately east of Federal Boulevard. Clear Creek/Federal station is the third station outbound on the Gold Line from Denver Union Station and also includes three bus bays and a 283-stall park and ride facility. The station opened on April 26, 2019.During early planning for the station, Adams County officials proposed moving the station to the west side of Federal Boulevard to benefit a real estate developer, while RTD's preferred east location would require industrial cleanup but would kickstart revitalization of the area.The station features the largest piece of public art to be commissioned by RTD: Addison Karl's 374-foot-long (114 m) hand-painted mural "Doradus", along the embanked wall. A major transit-oriented development, on 22 acres (8.9 ha) northwest of the station, is planned to open with the station and include up to 1,125 residential units and 250,000 square feet (23,000 m2) of commercial space.

Westminster station is a Regional Transportation District (RTD) commuter rail station on the B Line in Westminster, Colorado, part of the Denver metropolitan area. The station opened on July 25, 2016, and became the interim northern terminus of the B Line until extensions north toward Boulder and Longmont are built. From Westminster, B Line trains travel 6 miles (9.7 km) south to Union Station in Denver, taking about 11 minutes.The station consists of a single platform on the north side is situated on the south side of the tracks. It will have a 350-stall park and ride that can be expanded to 1,000 spaces and a public plaza, both located on the north side of the tracks. The station is connected to the nearby Adams County residential neighborhood by a 165-foot-long (50 m) pedestrian bridge over the tracks, platform, and nearby Little Dry Creek. The underpass of the station, connecting to the north plaza, is home to a 90-foot-long (27 m) art installation by Brian W. Brush called "Grotto", which consists of high-density polyethylene plastic tubes lit by LED lights in an array of colors.The City of Westminster plans to encourage transit-oriented development in a 135-acre (55 ha) area around the station; a 40-acre (16 ha) park and open space is also planned for the south side of the station area.

Chaffee Park is a neighborhood in Denver, Colorado located in the northwest corner of the city. Chaffee Park is north of Sunnyside connected via Zuni Street, and northeast of Berkeley connected through Regis via nearby Lowell Boulevard. Chaffee Park is east of Regis and south of Adams County. Chaffee Park earned Sustainable Neighborhood designation from the City and County of Denver in February 2014. Residents are represented by the Chaffee Park Neighborhood Association, which is a Registered Neighborhood Organization (RNO) with the city.There is another Denver city park named Chaffee Park that is located in Sunnyside (south of the Chaffee Park neighborhood). The main park in Chaffee Park is called 51st and Zuni Park, although commonly referred to as Zuni Park.

60th & Sheridan–Arvada Gold Strike station (sometimes stylized as 60th & Sheridan•Arvada Gold Strike) is a commuter rail station on the G Line of the Denver RTD system in Denver, Colorado. It is located in Arvada, Colorado and is the fourth northbound station from Denver Union Station. It opened on April 26, 2019.The public art chosen for the station is "Gold Pour" by Aaron T. Stephan and commemorates the first documented gold strike in Colorado at the nearby confluence of Ralston and Clear Creeks. The artwork features shimmering gold made of glass and mosaic tiles that appear to pour over the station's wall.

Westminster High School is a public secondary school (grades 9-12) operated by Westminster Public Schools in Westminster, Adams County, Colorado, United States.At the end of 1996, it was announced that all incoming freshmen in the '08-'09 school year, as well as all sophomores in the district who currently attended either Ranum or Westminster High School, would be attending the current Westminster High School campus until the new building was finished, for the '10-'11 school year. The district then announced the new school name would also be Westminster High School and the new school colors would be teal, black, and silver, with the wolves as a mascot. The new building location is on almost the same lot as the current building. Features include three multi-purpose basketball courts, an indoor track, a lecture hall, and a 725-seat theatre, all within a 375,000-square-foot (34,800 m2) building.

Pecos Junction station is a Denver Regional Transportation District (RTD) commuter rail station that is served by the B Line and G Line. The station was originally scheduled to open in 2016, but was delayed with the rest of the G Line. It opened on April 26, 2019.The station is located east of Pecos Street along 62nd Avenue. It consists of an island platform connected by a pedestrian bridge to a bus loading zone and a 300-space parking lot.

Regis is a neighborhood in Denver. Located in North Denver, its boundaries are Harlan Street to the west, Clear Creek (Colorado) to the northwest, 52nd Avenue and the northern border of the Regis University campus to the north, Federal Boulevard to the east, and highway I-70 to the south. The Berkeley neighborhood is adjacent to its south end and the Chaffee Park neighborhood is adjacent to its east end. Located in the neighborhood is Regis University and the Willis Case golf course.

Paul Carroll Skiba (born February 23, 1960), his daughter Sarah Arielle Skiba (born July 27, 1989), and Lorenzo DeShawn Chivers (born November 5, 1962), an employee of Skiba's moving business, disappeared under mysterious circumstances in Westminster, Colorado, United States, on February 7, 1999.On the day they went missing, Sarah accompanied her father Paul, who owned the Tuff Movers company in Westminster, on a job along with his employee Chivers. The three were last seen in Morrison that evening. Sarah was reported missing by her mother after Paul failed to return her home from her weekend visitation; at this time, it was discovered that Paul and Chivers were also missing. A moving truck located at the Tuff Movers lot was subsequently discovered with bullet holes in its side, blood evidence, as well as a portion of human scalp near its windshield; a metal extension ramp for the truck was also missing from the lot. The disappearances of the Skibas and Chivers received national attention, and were profiled on The Montel Williams Show, America's Most Wanted, and by journalist Nancy Grace. In 2016, their names were included on a list of missing persons as part of a Colorado Senate bill petitioning for a statewide Missing Persons Day, which was signed into law on February 5 of that year. As of 2022, the whereabouts of the Skibas and Chivers are still unknown, though law enforcement suspects foul play in their disappearances, and they are each presumed victims of homicide.

The Union High School in Westminster, Colorado is an Art Deco style high school built in 1929 that was the first high school serving the Westminster area of Adams County, Colorado. The original building was intended to be built at a cost of 21,500 dollars. The school saw its last graduating class in 1949, when the school was converted to a junior high school.The school was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
