Kohlsville, Wisconsin

WMBZ (92.5 MHz "Buzz Country 92.5") is a commercial FM radio station in West Bend, Wisconsin, serving Milwaukee's northern suburbs. WMBZ and sister station WVTY 92.1 FM, which serves Milwaukee's southern suburbs, are co-programmed and air a country music radio format. They are owned by David Magnum, through licensee Magnum Communications, Inc., along with sister WIBD in West Bend and WRJN 1400 AM in Racine. WMBZ is a Class B FM station, with an effective radiated power (ERP) of 18,000 watts. The transmitter tower is on Wisconsin Highway 33 at Aurora Road in Addison.

Nabob is an unincorporated community located in the town of West Bend, Washington County, Wisconsin, United States. Nabob is located near Wisconsin Highway 33 and Wisconsin Highway 144 4.5 miles (7.2 km) west of the city of West Bend. It was the site of St. Mathias Catholic Church (the graveyard of which is still extant), and is sometimes called St. Mathias for that reason. There was still a Nabob post office in 1901.

Theresa Marsh is located near Theresa, Wisconsin, in northern Washington County and eastern Dodge County. The marsh is the starting point for the Rock River, a tributary of the Mississippi River, and the marsh is an important stopping point for migratory birds. The Theresa Marsh Wildlife Area is a 5,990-acre (2,420 ha) state park that includes grassland, cattail, brush marsh, woodlands, agricultural land, seasonally flooded wetlands, and permanent wetlands. There are several campgrounds in the area. The Allenton State Wildlife Area is nearby. The area was home to tamarack forests and was used by Pottawatomie Indians for trapping. Most of the forest was cut during a period of settlement by whites, and a corduroy road was built across the marsh. It is now paved as Wisconsin State Highway 28. Solomon Juneau settled the area in 1852 and named the village after his mother, Theresa. He ran a trading post, constructed a grain mill, and operated a dam to provide water power for a saw mill. The area continued to be developed for agriculture in the decades that followed. After the agricultural businesses failed because of flooding, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources completed its land acquisitions, begun in 1948, in 1964. Dikes were constructed, along with water control features operated to provide waterfowl habitat. Hunting is allowed in season.The Kohlsville River flows through the southern part of the marsh and joins with the East Branch Rock River there.

Elmore is an unincorporated community in the town of Ashford, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, United States. Elmore was originally known as Leglerville for founder Ulrich Legler, who built a sawmill in the community in 1857. The community later took its current name to honor Andrew Elmore, who represented the area in the Wisconsin Assembly in 1859 and 1860.

Kewaskum is a village in Washington and Fond du Lac counties in Wisconsin, United States. The population was 4,004 at the 2010 census. All of this population resided in the Washington County portion of the village. The village is mostly surrounded by the Town of Kewaskum.

Big Cedar Lake, a lake located in Washington County, Wisconsin, about a mile west of Little Cedar Lake, is the biggest lake of 52 in Washington County. It has 10.2 miles of shoreline and measures over 900 acres.It is managed by the Big Cedar Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District (BCLPRD), a tax-funded governmental agency with seven commissioners. They provide maintenance, refuse and lake safety services.Fish commonly found in this lake include Northern Pike, Large Mouth Bass, Panfish, and Cisco.The Lake District takes part in Operation Dry Water, an annual initiative aimed at reducing the number of alcohol and drug-related accidents and fatalities and fostering a stronger and more visible deterrent to alcohol and drug use on the water.

Kewaskum High School is located in Kewaskum, Wisconsin, United States and is the lone high school in the Kewaskum School District. Kewaskum High School's instruction includes grades 9-12. As of the 2021-2022 school year, the student population is 579. The high school offers 12 Advance Placement courses as well as numerous courses that offer technical college credits.

Theresa Station is an unincorporated community located in the town of Theresa, Dodge County, Wisconsin, United States. The area was located at a railroad depot for the Minneapolis, St. Paul and Sault Ste. Marie Railroad, commonly known as the Soo Line. The area once featured "two feed mills and a lumberyard." The depot has since been torn down.
