The Córdoba Argentina Temple is a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) in the Villa Belgrano neighborhood of Cordoba, Argentina.

The Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes, formerly known as Estadio Córdoba and popularly Estadio Chateau Carreras, is a stadium in the Chateau Carreras neighborhood of Córdoba, Argentina. Owned by the Córdoba Province, the venue is used mostly for association football and rugby union matches and also sometimes for athletics. The stadium was built in 1976 in preparation for the 1978 FIFA World Cup, with a capacity for 37,851 spectators although it doesn't provide seating for all of them, like many Argentine stadiums. Most football teams in Córdoba have their own stadiums but they usually prefer playing in this stadium for its size and comfort, especially when playing important games that attract big crowds. Generally, this stadium is used for Talleres' matches, and is used for Belgrano's, Instituto's and Racing's matches. The Argentina national football team home matches have also been played here. The stadium, in 2006 and 2007, hosted some Special Stages of motorsport event named Rally Argentina, a round of the World Rally Championship. During 2010 and 2011 the stadium went through a remodelling process. The field was sunken 4 meters, the iconic Autotrol scoreboards installed for the 1978 World Cup were replaced with modern video screens, new bleachers were built in order to improve the poor view caused by the shallow shape of the stadium and the capacity was increased to 57,000, becoming the third largest stadium in Argentina by seating capacity. It was re-opened on June 26, 2011, just 5 days before the start of the 2011 Copa América. The stands were fully covered after the cup. In October, 2010 the name was changed to honor Mario Kempes, former Argentina national team player and top goal scorer of the 1978 FIFA World Cup, who was also a native of Córdoba.

Polideportivo Municipal Carlos Cerutti is an indoor arena in Córdoba, Argentina. It is primarily used for basketball and is the home arena of the Asociación Deportiva Atenas. It holds 3,730 people. During the 1990 FIBA World Championship this stadium hosted the Group D, conformed by Argentina, Soviet Union, Canada and Egypt.

Julio César Villagra Stadium, nicknamed El Gigante de Alberdi, is a football stadium located in Barrio Alberdi in Córdoba, Argentina. Inaugurated on 17 March 1929, it is the home ground of Club Atlético Belgrano. and has a capacity of 30,000 people.The stadium was named after Julio César Villagra (1993), one of the greatest idols of the club, who played for Belgrano from 1982 to 1993, when he died after committing suicide.

The Estadio Presidente Juan Domingo Perón is a multi-use stadium in Córdoba, Argentina. It is currently used primarily for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 26,535 of which 13,000 are seated and was opened in 1951. It is named after the former Argentine president Juan Perón who loaned the club $1.5 million Pesos during the late 1940s to help build the stadium. The debt was then written off by Arturo Frondizi in 1959. Before the death of Perón in 1974 the stadium was named El Estadio Monumental de Alta Córdoba. Capital Department is a department of Córdoba Province in Argentina. The provincial subdivision has a population of about 1,284,582 inhabitants in an area of 562 km². Its capital city is Córdoba, which is also the capital city of Córdoba Province. It is located around 710 km from Buenos Aires.

Rio Segundo, abbreviated as Río 2º, is a city located near the geographical center of Argentina, built on the banks of the river Rio Segundo about 40 kilometres (25 mi) east-southeast of Córdoba and about 660 kilometres (410 mi) west-northwest of Buenos Aires. It is the largest city of the Río Segundo County(department). Rio Segundo straddles National Route 9 and a main train line that runs from Córdoba to Buenos Aires. Pilar is a smaller city in size that resides on the other side of the river.

Alta Córdoba is a railway station located in the Alta Córdoba neighborhood of Córdoba in the province of the same name, Argentina. The station is terminus of the Tren de las Sierras service operated by state-owned Trenes Argentinos. Likewise, another state company, Trenes Argentinos Cargas y Logística, operates freight services there.

Ingeniero Aeronáutico Ambrosio L.V. Taravella International Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto Internacional de Cordoba "Ingeniero Aeronáutico Ambrosio L.V. Taravella") (IATA: COR, ICAO: SACO), more commonly known as Pajas Blancas, is located 9 kilometres (5 nautical miles) north-northwest of the center of Córdoba, the capital city of the Córdoba Province. The airport covers an area of 1,020 ha (2,520 acres) and is operated by Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 S.A.

The Argentine National Observatory, today the Astronomical Observatory of Córdoba, was founded on 24 October 1871, by Argentine president Domingo F. Sarmiento and the North American astronomer Benjamin Apthorp Gould.

The National Academy of Sciences of Argentina main task is to promote and support Argentine scientific and technological policy. National Academy of Sciences publishing activity supports National Scientific and Technical Research Council (Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas, CONICET). The Jesuit Block and Estancias of Córdoba (Spanish: Manzana Jesuítica y Estancias de Córdoba) are a former Jesuit reduction built by missionaries in the province of Córdoba, Argentina, named a World Heritage Site in 2000.The Manzana Jesuítica contains the University of Córdoba, one of the oldest in South America, the Monserrat Secondary School, a church, and residence buildings. To maintain such a project, the Jesuits operated six Estancias (residences) around the province of Córdoba, named Caroya, Jesús María, Santa Catalina, Alta Gracia, Candelaria, and San Ignacio.The farm and the complex, started in 1615, had to be left by the Jesuits, following the 1767 decree by King Charles III of Spain that expelled them from the continent. They were then run by the Franciscans until 1853, when the Jesuits returned to The Americas. Nevertheless, the university and the high-school were nationalized a year later. Each Estancia has its own church and set of buildings, around which towns grew, such as Alta Gracia, the closest to the Block. The Jesuit Block and the Estancias can be visited by tourists; the Road of the Jesuit Estancias is approximately 250 kilometres (160 mi) in length. Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who would later become Pope Francis, lived there.
