Ebenthal in Kärnten

Glanfurt is a river of Carinthia, Austria. Its drainage basin is 230 km2 (89 sq mi).The Glanfurt is also called Sattnitz by the Carinthian people. It is the outflow of the Wörthersee. It starts at the lake's eastern bay, south of the peninsula Maria Loretto and runs more like a channel straight to the east. It passes Viktring Abbey, an old monastery which is now a suburb of Carinthia's capital Klagenfurt, and finally flows into the Glan near the market town of Ebenthal. In summer it is the southern recreation area of Klagenfurt with a number of opportunities for free bathing and a bicycle track along the river. The river was to become a national borderline following the Paris Peace Conference, 1919, which then had not been established according to the results of the 1920 Carinthian Plebiscite.

The Sportzentrum Fischl is a soccer stadium in Klagenfurt. It has a capacity of 3,000 people. Currently the Red-Zac team FC Kärnten plays its home games in the stadium.

HTL 1 Lastenstrasse is a technical secondary school located in Carinthia, Austria. Established in 1861, the school focuses on mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and mechatronics. The school additionally emphasises environmental technology including e-mobility and green energy. HTL 1 Lastenstrasse consists of 34 workshops and laboratories, including its own forge and foundry. In 2019, HTL 1 Lastenstrasse commenced a partnership with the HTBLA Pitzelstätten that offered to students an "agricultural engineering and environmental technology" emphasis.

Klagenfurt Cathedral (German: Klagenfurter Dom; Dom- und Stadtpfarrkirche Hll. Petrus und Paulus) is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Gurk-Klagenfurt and also the main parish church of Klagenfurt. It was built by Protestants and dedicated to the Holy Trinity in 1581, and was the largest Protestant church in Austria at that time.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Gurk-Klagenfurt (German: Diözese Gurk-Klagenfurt, Slovene: Krška škofija) is a Catholic diocese covering the Austrian state of Carinthia. It is part of the ecclesiastical province of Salzburg. Though named after Gurk Cathedral, the bishop's see since 1787 is in Klagenfurt. Due to the presence of Carinthian Slovenes, the organizational structures of the diocese are bilingual. The Slovene language is, together with German, the language of church services in 69 southern parishes of the diocese.

City-Arkaden is a shopping centre in Klagenfurt, Carinthia, Austria. In terms of area, the centre is the second largest shopping centre in Carinthia, after Atrio in Villach, and is located at the northern edge of the centre of Klagenfurt. After a year and half of construction, City-Arkaden was opened on St. Velter Ring on 28 March 2006. Planning and construction of the centre encountered some resistance from a part of the population, who criticised the centre for failing an environmental impact assessment test and the neglect towards the southern part of the city centre during the construction. The 19th-century industrial buildings of Julius Christoph Neuner's leather factory had to be dismantled to make way for the centre. They had been empty for decades. The shopping centre consists of three floors with over 110 businesses, cafés and restaurants with a total shopping area of 30 thousand square metres. There are about 880 for-pay parking spaces on two floors. Two prevent traffic congestion, St. Veiter Ring was widened to four lanes in the area around City-Arkaden. Directly in front of the main entrance is the bus stop "Heuplatz" where the Klagenfurt city buses 40 and 41 stop every 7 to 15 minutes in directions of the Klagenfurt railway station, Annabichl and Feschnig. Of the businesses in City-Arkaden, 40 opened their first premises in Carinthia in the centre, 15 of them even their first premises in Austria. The shopping centre is managed by the ECE Group from Hamburg, Germany. The shopping centre is owned by Deutsche EuroShop. A similar shopping centre is also located in Wuppertal, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. However, the shopping centre in Wuppertal was not integrated into an existing building complex, but was built from scratch. Because of this it has a different selection of businesses and gastronomic services.
