Friends Church (formerly Yorba Linda Friends Church) is an evangelical Christian megachurch located in the Orange County city of Yorba Linda, California. The church is affiliated with the Friends Southwest Denomination.The church has four physical buildings at Yorba Linda, Orange, Buena Park and Eastvale. In 2023, the Senior Pastor is Matthew Cork.With weekly attendance averaging in excess of 4,000, in 2008 it was the largest Quaker church in the world and one of the largest churches in Southern California. In addition, the church's worship center (completed in 2006) is one of the largest theaters in California, with a capacity of over 3,000. In 2009, the church was ranked the 54th fastest-growing church in the United States.

The Yorba Linda Depot is a former railway station of the Pacific Electric Railway, located in Yorba Linda, California. The station was in service for the La Habra–Fullerton–Yorba Linda Line. Rail service began in 1910 when tracks were laid through the town as far southeast as Stern. Passenger service beyond Yorba Linda was abandoned after August 1, 1930 and ended altogether after January 22, 1938. After closing as a railway depot, the building was a nursery, a lumber yard office, a real estate office, and a restaurant. The station building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 25, 1979. Polly's restaurant opened in the building in 1992.

The Richard Nixon Birthplace is the birthplace and early childhood home of Richard Nixon, the 37th president of the United States. It is located on the grounds of the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda, California, and serves as a historic house museum. The house was built in 1912 on family ranchland; Nixon was born there the following year. He and his family stayed there until 1922, when they moved to Whittier, California. The former home was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1973, and a California Historical Landmark in 1994.

The Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum is the presidential library and burial site of Richard Milhous Nixon, the 37th president of the United States (1969–1974), and his wife Pat Nixon. Located in Yorba Linda, California, on land that President Nixon's family once owned, the library is one of 13 administered by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). The 9-acre (3.6 ha) campus is located at 18001 Yorba Linda Boulevard in Yorba Linda and incorporates the Richard Nixon Birthplace, a National Historic Landmark where Nixon was born in 1913 and spent his childhood. From its dedication on July 19, 1990, until July 11, 2007, the library and museum was operated by the private Richard Nixon Foundation and was known as the Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace. The facility underwent an extensive renovation in 2016 and now features updated, multimedia museum exhibits; the complex is jointly operated by NARA and the Richard Nixon Foundation.

West Home is a historic building in Yorba Linda, California. It was the home of Jessamyn West during her childhood. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.

Esperanza High School (EHS) is a public high school located in Anaheim, California and is part of the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. It is a California Distinguished School and is home to various California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) championship athletic programs; it is also home to numerous academic clubs, such as Speech and Debate, Mock Trial, and Academic Decathlon. It is a member of the Century League. The school's colors are cardinal and gold, and its mascot is the Aztec. The school has two campuses: a main campus and a west campus connected by a pedestrian bridge over Kellogg Drive. Since 2010, west campus became known as the Freshmen Focus Campus; however, the mathematics and foreign language buildings on this campus are not reserved solely for freshmen. The west campus is the former Orchard Drive Elementary school, which the high school absorbed in 1986. Current enrollment exceeds 1,700. Most pupils come from nearby Yorba Linda, California, Anaheim and east Placentia.

Atwood is a small predominantly Mexican-American neighborhood in Placentia, California. Atwood's unofficial boundaries are defined roughly as the area of Placentia in the square formed by Orangethorpe Avenue, Van Buren Street, Lakeview Road, and Miraloma Avenue. All non-PO box addresses in Atwood are listed as "Placentia" by the United States Postal Service (with the exception of the post office itself: 1679 E. Orangethorpe Avenue, Atwood, CA 92811).There is a small business area of the community along Orangethorpe Ave. that includes the post office and restaurants, markets, a bar and other stores that cater to the area's predominantly Latino population. The Parque de Los Ninos city park can be found in the area along with a portion of a busy line of the BNSF Railway that runs parallel to Orangethorpe Ave.

Rancho Cañón de Santa Ana was a 13,328-acre (53.94 km2) land grant in present-day Orange County, California given by Mexican governor José Figueroa in 1834 to Bernardo Yorba. The name means "Canyon of Santa Ana". The grant included present-day Yorba Linda.

Santa Ana Canyon (Spanish: Cañón de Santa Ana), or the Santa Ana Narrows, is the water gap where the Santa Ana River passes between the Santa Ana Mountains and the Chino Hills, near the intersection of Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties, California. It receives particularly strong Santa Ana winds in comparison to surrounding areas, hence the name. Originally, U.S. Route 91 ran through the canyon; however, it has long since been re-signed or upgraded along the entirety of its former right-of-way in the state. California State Route 91 is its primary successor.

Carbon Canyon Dam (or Carbon Creek Dam) is a dam at the northern edge of Orange County, California. The dam is approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) east of the city of Brea and approximately 12 miles (19 km) north of the city of Santa Ana. The drainage area above the dam is 19.3 square miles (50 km2) and is encompassed entirely within the Puente and Chino Hills. The Carbon Canyon Creek flows in a generally southwesterly direction onto the coastal Orange County Plain, joins Coyote Creek, and then flows into the San Gabriel River.

Yorba Linda High School (YLHS) is a public high school located in Yorba Linda, California and is part of the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. The school's colors are navy blue, crimson, and silver. The school mascot is the Mustang. Most students who attend this school live in Yorba Linda. A small portion of Anaheim Hills with houses located north of Yorba Regional Park are also directed to this school. Before the school opened in 2009, students who lived in Yorba Linda attended Canyon High School (Orange Unified School District), El Dorado High School, and Esperanza High School (The latter two are part of the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District). The school site occupies over 70 acres (280,000 m2) and has over 170,000 square feet (16,000 m2) of classroom and administrative space, including a library, gymnasium, performing arts spaces, a pool, an adjacent joint-use park, baseball fields, and a large stadium facility.
