The U.S. Post Office, also known as the Willows Main Post Office or US Post Office–Willows Main, is the main post office in Willows, California. Built in 1918, the post office was designed by Walter D. Bliss and William B. Faville, architects known for their work in San Francisco. The building was designed in the Italianate and Beaux-Arts styles. The building's roofline and arched arcade entrance with Doric columns were inspired by the Italianate style, while its detail work, including terra cotta reliefs, quoining, and decorative keystones, is Beaux-Arts styled. While many Italianate Beaux-Arts post offices were built in the early 20th century, the Willows post office was one of the few built in California. In addition, it is one of the few ornately designed buildings in Willows and has been called the "most sophisticated and imposing" of those which exist.The post office was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 11, 1985.

This airport is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation facility. It is also known as Willows-Glenn Airport.

Thunderhill Raceway Park is a motorsports complex located 7 miles west of Willows, California, United States, in the Sacramento Valley. It is the venue for the longest automobile race in the United States, the 25 Hours of Thunderhill, held annually during the first weekend in December.Thunderhill has two tracks: the original 3-mile track known as Thunderhill East and a 2-mile track known as Thunderhill West. The two tracks can also be combined to offer a 5-mile track, the longest road course in America. Thunderhill also offers two large skid pad areas as well for drifting and car control events. The venue is available for a wide variety of events or functions. It can be rented for racing events, lapping day events, drifting events, go kart events, driving schools, ride and drive programs, corporate events, commercials, a movie location, trade shows, weddings, receptions, swap meets etc. San Francisco Region Properties, Inc., dba Thunderhill Park is the wholly-owned subsidiary of the San Francisco Region Sports Car Club of America. Thunderhill Raceway has its own board of directors and is operated completely independently of the non-profit subsidiary.

Hamilton Union High School is a public high school located at 620 Canal Street in Hamilton City, California. It serves grades nine through twelve. Until recently, it was the only school in its district (Hamilton Union High School District). The Hamilton High and Hamilton Elementary Districts unified to the new Hamilton Unified School District on July 1, 2009, with Capay Elementary School remaining as an independent feeder school district. Hamilton Unified School District includes Hamilton High School, Hamilton Elementary School, Ella Barkley Continuation High School, and Hamilton Adult School. The current principal is Cris Oseguera, serving since 2009.

The Gianella Bridge was a swing bridge that brought CA 32 across the Sacramento River at Hamilton City, California, between Glenn County and Butte County. It was built in 1908-1911 by Cotton Brothers & Co., Contractors. Also known as Sacramento River Bridge at Hamilton City, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. The bridge was documented by the Historic American Engineering Record (HAER) in 1984. It was demolished in 1987 but remains NRHP-listed. While a bridge was desired by both counties, there was disagreement about the location. Glenn County favored the Hamilton City location to support Hamilton, in Glenn County, and the sugar beet industry; Butte County favored a location closer to Chico, in Butte County. The deadlock was broken by influence of Swiss-born Vincenzo Gianella, a Butte County large landowner and sugar beet farmer.It was replaced by a concrete highway bridge and was removed in 1987.Nonetheless, the swing bridge remains listed on the NRHP as of 2013.

Sacramento River National Wildlife Refuge is located along the Sacramento River in the Sacramento Valley of California. Landscape is very flat, bordered by the Sierra and Coast ranges, with intensive agriculture (rice, with walnut, almond, and prune orchards along the river). This riparian community is one of the most important wildlife habitats in California and North America. The refuge is currently in an active acquisition phase, and includes the Llano Seco Unit. Large-scale riparian habitat restoration is ongoing. Riparian habitat along the Sacramento River is critically important for various threatened species, fisheries, migratory birds, plants, and the natural system of the river itself.
