The San Pedro Mártir Parish Church of Guaynabo (Spanish: Iglesia Parroquial de San Pedro Mártir de Guaynabo) is a historic parish church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Juan de Puerto Rico, located in Guaynabo Pueblo (downtown Guaynabo) in the Puerto Rican municipality of the same name. The church was added to the United States National Register of Historic Places on September 8, 1976.The church is the oldest building in Guaynabo, and it was established as a parish in 1775. The structure itself is older, dating to at least 1750 when it was a chapel used by the farming communities in the area. It has remained in use as a parish church and as such it has witnessed the growth of Guaynabo from an isolated farming town into a suburb of metropolitan San Juan. The church is representative of the structures built by the Spanish in their Caribbean colonial towns, conveying in its simplicity the economic and artistic limitations of the islands. It was these limitations that perpetuated the adaptable and stern forms of the herreriano and the plateresque manifestations of Spanish Renaissance into such a late date. The plaza, which forms an integral part of this site, has been the center of activity of the traditional community, and together with the church marks the core of the historic colonial core of Guaynabo.

The Telephone and Telegraph Station of Guaynabo (Spanish: Oficina de Telégrafo y Teléfono de Guaynabo) is a one-story flat roof building located in the downtown (pueblo) area of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. It was designed in the Art Deco style and constructed entirely of reinforced concrete with glass blocks and ornamental ironwork. It is one of the few (private or public) buildings in the island built entirely in this architectural style. It was added to the United States National Register of Historic Places on July 3, 2012.The Telegraph and Telephone Station of Guaynabo was constructed in 1948, and since then it has become a significant piece in the history of telecommunications in Guaynabo. It was one of three identical Art Deco buildings of a prototype that combine both the telegraph and telephone services under one roof. This solid, modern and permanent building prototype was designed by the Department of the Interior of Puerto Rico for the installation of the automatic telephone and established in the towns of Juncos, Aibonito and Guaynabo. These buildings gave a new recognizable physical form to both the telephone company and the telegraph station in the island. Constructed between 1943 and 1949, they were also the entities that connected the people of Puerto Rico with the rest of the world. This is one of the two that still remain of those built by the Communications Authority of Puerto Rico’s office facilities, and the only one still existing of the three that was constructed of the Art Deco prototype.The building today houses the Telegraph Museum, which is administered by the municipal government of Guaynabo. The Telegraph Museum aims to preserve the history of this invention and the history of communications in Puerto Rico.

Guaynabo barrio-pueblo is a barrio and the administrative center (seat) of Guaynabo, a municipality of Puerto Rico. Its population in 2010 was 4,008.As was customary in Spain, in Puerto Rico, the municipality has a barrio called pueblo which contains a central plaza, the municipal buildings (city hall), and a Catholic church. Fiestas patronales (patron saint festivals) are held in the central plaza every year.

Mario Morales Coliseum (Spanish: Coliseo Mario Morales) is an indoor sporting arena that is located in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. It used mainly for basketball, but it can also be used for table tennis or volleyball. The coliseum's seating capacity is 5,500 seats. Apart from the Guaynabo Mets' home games, the coliseum is also used for boxing, roller derby and musical acts. It features a large painting of Mario Morales on the entrance. The coliseum opened in 1983, originally named Mets Pavilion, but is currently named after Puerto Rican basketball player Mario Morales. It is the home arena of the basketball team the Mets de Guaynabo. It also serves as the home court of the Mets de Guaynabo women's volleyball team in the LVSF. In August 2020, it also became the venue where COVID-19 testing was done during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Museum Of Transportation (MOT) of Puerto Rico is a museum located in the town of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico which documents the history of transportation in Puerto Rico, from the canoes used by the natives, to the actual subway system located in the metro area known as the "Tren Urbano" (Urban Train). Founded in 2013, the museum began as an initiative by a group of local automotive enthusiasts. Consisting of an architecturally rich design inspired by other great and renowned museums from around the globe. The building consists on three floors and over 35,000 s/f housing exhibitions from original horse-drawn carriages and ox wagon, to cars from the late 1950s to the present. The MOT includes historic motoring photographs, decorative walls, vintage neon signs, antique cars, bicycles and motorcycles. In April 2019, the mayor announced the Museum would be closing its doors.

WBMJ (1190 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Religious format. Licensed to San Juan, Puerto Rico, it serves the Puerto Rico area. The station is currently owned by Calvary Evangelistic Mission, Inc. and features programming from Salem Communications. WBMJ's programming is also heard on translator station W258DT 99.5 FM, also licensed to San Juan. WBMJ is one of three AM stations that comprise The Rock Radio Network. The station's studio facilities are in Santurce, Puerto Rico. The facilities serve as the hub of the Network, and most of the Networks's programming originates from there. The transmitter is in Barrio Camarones, in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. It is operated with a 10,000-watt Nautel transmitter and broadcasts in a directional pattern. WBMJ also broadcasts a limited amount of Christian music. It serves as the Puerto Rico affiliate of the Salem Radio Network News agency. WBMJ is also the site of the Bible Correspondence School of the Caribbean.

Professional Hospital Guaynabo is a private general hospital in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. It encompasses the Vascular Institute of Puerto Rico—site where the first vascular stent in Puerto Rico was placed. The institution has been treating vascular conditions in Puerto Rico since 1988. The hospital currently specializes in general surgery procedures, orthopedics, plastic surgery and vascular procedures, becoming the first hospital in Puerto Rico to specialize in blood circulation.

Guaynabo (Spanish pronunciation: [ɡwajˈnaβo], locally [wajˈnaβo]) is a city, suburb of San Juan and municipality in the northern part of Puerto Rico, located in the northern coast of the island, north of Aguas Buenas, south of Cataño, east of Bayamón, and west of San Juan. Guaynabo is spread over 9 barrios and Guaynabo Pueblo (the downtown area and the administrative center of the suburb). Guaynabo is considered, along with its neighbors – San Juan and the municipalities of Bayamón, Carolina, Cataño, Trujillo Alto, and Toa Baja – to be part of the San Juan metropolitan area. It is also part of the larger San Juan-Caguas-Guaynabo Metropolitan Statistical Area, (the largest MSA in Puerto Rico). The municipality has a land area of 27.13 square miles (70.3 km2) and a population of 89,780 as of the 2020 census. The municipality is known for being an affluent suburb of San Juan and for its former Irish heritage. The studios of WAPA-TV is located in Guaynabo.

The Parque José “Pepito” Bonano is located in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico and is a sports facility used mainly for baseball, and soccer. It is used by Puerto Rico Soccer League's Guaynabo Fluminense FC for its soccer games.

Colegio Sagrados Corazones (Sacred Hearts School) was a Catholic day school in the municipality of Guaynabo in the metropolitan area of Puerto Rico. It offered PK-12 with a traditional educational approach and offered courses in the Spanish language. SSCC (as commonly abbreviated) was aimed at the Catholic denomination and offered a level of preschool and elementary in their academic program. The school was founded in 1964 and due to financial difficulties was permanently closed in 2019.
