St. Paul, Arkansas

St. Paul High School (SPHS) is an accredited comprehensive public high school located in St. Paul, Arkansas, United States. SPHS provides secondary education for more than 250 students in grades 7 through 12. It is one of three public high schools in Madison County and one of two high schools administered by the Huntsville School District.

The St. Paul School Building is a historic school building at 200 West 4th Street in St. Paul, Arkansas. It is a single-story masonry structure, built out of local sandstone. It has gable-on-hip roof, with a shed-roof addition to the rear. To small triangular louvered dormers flank the projecting entry porch. The school was built in 1940 with funding from the Works Progress Administration, and serves as a community meeting place as well as school.The building was listed on then National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

The Williams House and Associated Farmstead is a historic farm property in southern Madison County, Arkansas. It is located northeast of St. Paul, at the end of County Road 172. The main house is a 1+1⁄2-story log structure, fashioned out of hand-hewn timbers fitted together with dovetail joints and concrete chinking. The property includes a barn, smokehouse, chicken house, and privy, all of which were built around 1922–25. The house was built in 1935, and is locally unusual for the late date for the use of log construction to build a pioneer-style house.The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Brashears (also known as Brashears Junction) is an unincorporated community in Madison County, Arkansas, United States. It is located at the junction of AR 16 and AR 23. The community is within the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest and just south of the upper White River. The community of Combs is about two miles west on route 16 and St. Paul is about two miles east.

The population was 431 as of the 2021 census, the overwhelming majority of which was white.
