UNLV School of Architecture

The UNLV Architecture Studies Library (ASL) is located in the Paul B. Sogg Architecture Building, located on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus. The services of the library address both the needs of the faculty and students of the UNLV School of Architecture, and also offers an email reference service. The Library provides historical and current information and resources about architecture in Las Vegas, primarily through its Las Vegas Architects and Buildings Database.

College of Liberal Arts is the humanities and social sciences college at the University of Nevada. The Nevada School of the Arts and the School of Social Research and Justice Studies are located in the college. It was founded in 2004. CLA contains fourteen departments and six programs and centers. More than half of all University of Nevada undergraduates enroll in CLA courses each semester. The College of Liberal Arts has over 200 full-time faculty and 44 support staff members.

The Lee Business School is the business school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). It holds international dual accreditation in business and accounting by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The Lee Business School is one of the largest colleges at UNLV and offers ten undergraduate majors, 14 minors and seven graduate programs.

The William F. Harrah College of Hospitality (formerly known as the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration) offers graduate and undergraduate degrees in hospitality management at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Named after William F. Harrah, the founder of Harrah's Entertainment, the school is highly ranked in national and international surveys of hospitality programs. In 2017 and 2018, the college was ranked number one in the world for hospitality and leisure by QS World University Rankings. The Harrah Hospitality College partners with major hospitality brands around the world to provide students with opportunities for industry engagement. Each year, an average of 150 hospitality executives participate in the college’s student mentor program, approximately 600 students participate in internships, and 100 hospitality organizations visit campus to recruit students into full-time professional positions. Located 1.5 miles from the Las Vegas Strip. Of UNLV’s nearly 30,000 students, an average of 2,500 students are enrolled in the Harrah Hotel College, 22% of which are international students. Of the college’s 15,000 alumni, 50% reside outside of Las Vegas. Notable alumni include Guy Fieri, William Hornbuckle, Booze Davis, Randall Cunningham, and George Maloof. Since 1974, the college has been involved in a world-known annual wine and food event known as UNLVino, which serves to generate scholarships for students of the college. With the support of long-time co-sponsor Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits, UNLVino has branched out into three separate concepts events, attracting thousands of attendees.

Cox Pavilion is a 78,300-square-foot (7,270 m2), multi-purpose indoor arena on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus, connected to the Thomas & Mack Center. The Pavilion serves as the home court for UNLV Lady Rebels women's basketball and volleyball programs as well as the annual NBA Summer League. Cox Communications and UNLV formed a partnership for the new facility in 2001. The arena cost $16.8 million. As part of a $5 million agreement, Cox Communications secured the naming rights for the facility as well as opportunities for sponsorship and hospitality. The pavilion is a two-level structure. The ground floor features new men's and women's locker facilities, player lounges and practice courts for basketball and volleyball. The top level is a multi-purpose venue with a seating capacity of 2,500 to 3,100 for sporting events. In addition to UNLV athletic events, the Cox Pavilion hosts a variety of events, including small concerts, boxing events, theater-style family shows, corporate parties, trade shows and more. On November 15, 2007, the arena hosted the Democratic Presidential Debate for the 2008 presidential election.

The William S. Boyd School of Law is the law school of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and the only law school in Nevada. It is named after William S. Boyd, a Nevada attorney and co-founder of Boyd Gaming Corporation who provided the initial funding for the school. The school opened in 1998 and graduated its first class in 2001.The school has held American Bar Association accreditation since 2003 and joined the Association of American Law Schools in 2004.In 2022, U.S. News and World Report ranked the law school at No. 67 among more than 200 law schools in the United States. In 2022, the Boyd School of Law achieved its rank at 67th overall in the nation.

The Lied Library building, at 5 stories and 302,000 square feet (28,100 m2), is the largest on University of Nevada, Las Vegas's (UNLV) campus in Paradise, Nevada. The Architect of Record was Simpson Coulter Studio (formerly Welles Pugsley Architects). The University of Nevada, Las Vegas Libraries were established in 1957 and now include the main Lied Library (pronounced LEED), four branch libraries: Architecture Studies Library, Health Sciences Library, Teacher Development & Resources Library, and Music Library. In addition, one virtual campus is supported (Singapore Campus). The UNLV University Libraries offers a collection of more than one million volumes, access to over 20,000 online and print journals and more than 2 million additional resources of various media such as microfilm, DVDs, and government publications. The library is equipped with over 250 computers and is part of the campus wireless network. Visitors with identification may use library computers to access the University Libraries' online holdings, but Internet access is not available to the general public.

The Thomas & Mack Center is a multi-purpose arena located on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Paradise, Nevada. It is home of the UNLV Runnin' Rebels basketball team of the Mountain West Conference.

University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Graduate College supports more than 4,500 graduate students in more than 150 graduate certificate, master's, specialist and doctoral programs offered at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).

The UNLV College of Education is an academic unit of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Approximately 2,000 undergraduate students are enrolled in the college, with more than half pursuing majors in elementary and secondary education. An additional 800 students are enrolled at the graduate level. The college offers Bachelor's, Master's, Doctoral, and certificate programs. The college has won national recognition for its teacher education program, Cultural Diversity Bridge to Academic Success. Several facilities and centers serve the needs of the southern Nevada community while also providing students a living laboratory to develop their skills in counseling, administration, and teaching.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is a public land-grant research university in Paradise, Nevada. The 332-acre (134 ha) campus is about 1.6 mi (2.6 km) east of the Las Vegas Strip. It was formerly part of the University of Nevada from 1957 to 1969. It includes the Shadow Lane Campus, just east of the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada, which houses both School of Medicine and School of Dental Medicine. UNLV's law school, the William S. Boyd School of Law, is the only law school in the state. It is classified among "R1: Doctoral Universities – Very high research activity". According to the National Science Foundation, UNLV spent $83 million on research and development in 2018, ranking it 165th in the nation.
