The Rascacielos de la avenida Tres de Mayo is a skyscraper in the city of Santa Cruz on the Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain, located on Avenida Tres de Mayo. It was designed by Carmelo Rodríguez Borrella and was inaugurated on 3 May 1974. At 85 m high with 24 storeys it was the tallest building in the city until the construction of the Torres de Santa Cruz. Today is still a symbolic building in the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The Tenerife International Film Music Festival (Fimucité) (Spanish: Festival Internacional de Música de Cine de Tenerife) is an international film music festival that is held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on the island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands.The event brings industry leaders from both Europe and the Americas and often features music from award winning movies. The festival is held in important cultural centers throughout Santa Cruz de Tenerife including the Auditorio de Tenerife, Espacio Cultural CajaCanarias, Teatro Guimerá and Tenerife Espacio de las Artes.

The Auditorio de Tenerife "Adán Martín" (commonly referred to as the Auditorio de Tenerife) is an auditorium in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. Designed by architect Santiago Calatrava, it is located on the Avenue of the Constitution in the Canarian capital, and next to the Atlantic Ocean in the southern part of Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Construction began in 1997 and was completed in 2003. The auditorium was inaugurated on 26 September of that year in the presence of Felipe, Prince of Asturias, and was later visited by former U.S. President Bill Clinton. The building is framed within the tenets of late-modern architecture of the late 20th century. The majestic profile of the auditorium has become an architectural symbol of the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the island of Tenerife and the Canary Islands. It is also regarded as the finest contemporary building in the Canary Islands and one of the most emblematic buildings of Spanish architecture. In March 2008, it was included by the post office in a set of six stamps (Correos) depicting the most emblematic works of Spanish architecture. In 2011, the image of the Tenerife Auditorium was included in a series of commemorative coins of 5 euros, which displayed the most emblematic symbols of several Spanish cities. It is one of the major attractions of Tenerife and home to the Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife (Tenerife Symphony Orchestra).

The Castle of St John the Baptist (Spanish: Castillo de San Juan Bautista), also called the Black Castle (Castillo Negro), is a fort on the island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands of Spain. It was the second-most important fort in the defence of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the island's capital.It is located in the heart of the capital near the Parque Marítimo César Manrique and behind the Auditorio de Tenerife. Its construction was started in 1641 and completed in 1644. It was later rebuilt in 1765 with the addition of a cylindrical tower facing the sea. It served as a military fort until 1924. It was converted to a military museum in 1948.In 1684, Charles II of Spain gave the power to appoint the castilian, or warden of the castle, to the Cabildo de Tenerife, the island's governing body. This appointment, along with that of the Castle of San Cristóbal, were coveted by the island's nobility as an honour, but also for two important reasons: it was the most important way to prove their noble status, with a view to entering orders, joining the military or the maestranza de caballería (noble militia), and due to the privileges attached to the position: they were in charge of everything related to health, the port police, granting permits for the entry and exit of the ships, they charged the right to fish, they mediated between the conflicts between fishermen and townsfolk, besides taking care of correspondence and collecting tariffs on salt and flour. A re-enactment of the Battle of Santa Cruz de Tenerife takes place annually at the fort, in commemoration of the unsuccessful attempt by the British admiral Horatio Nelson to invade the city and the archipelago on 25 July 1797.

The Centro de Fotografía Isla de Tenerife (Photo Center Tenerife Island) is located in the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Spain) and was created in 1989. Owns a studio and photo lab, conference room, a specialized library with more than 3,500 volumes, files, and store collections. Its headquarters is located in the TEA (Tenerife Espacio de las Artes).

The Torres de Santa Cruz is a residential complex composed of the twin towers located in the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain). They were designed by Canarian architect Julian Valladares, and were built in the time period between 2004 and 2006. The towers are 120 metres (390 feet) tall, without the antenna, becoming the tallest skyscraper in the Canary Islands, and the tallest residential building in Spain until 2010 (currently occupies third place in the latter category). The Torres de Santa Cruz are also the tallest twin towers in Spain. The towers are considered, together with the nearby Auditorio de Tenerife, one of the best symbols of the economic development of the Canary Islands.

The Tenerife Arts Space (Spanish: Tenerife Espacio de las Artes, TEA) is a cultural space and building in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife, Spain. Opened in 2008, it was designed by Herzog & de Meuron and Virgilio Gutierrez. It houses a permanent exhibition of the works of Óscar Domínguez, as well as the Biblioteca Municipal de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and the Centro de Fotografía Isla de Tenerife. It is operated by the Cabildo de Tenerife.

Museums of Tenerife (Spanish: Museos de Tenerife), originally Autonomous Organization of Museums and Centers of Tenerife (Spanish: Organismo Autónomo de Museos y Centros de Tenerife), is an organisation in Tenerife.

Museo de la Naturaleza y Arqueología (MUNA), (English: Museum of Nature and Archeology, formerly Spanish: Museo de Ciencias Naturales, Spanish: Museo de la Naturaleza y el Hombre) is a museum-based in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife, (Canary Islands, Spain). It contains many significant archaeological finds and is considered the best repository of objects from the Pre-Castilian Canary Islands. The museum also houses significant paleontological, botanical, entomological, and marine and terrestrial vertebrate collections, and is considered the best Natural Library of the Canary Islands. Museo de la Naturaleza y el Hombre integrates the Archaeological Museum of Tenerife, the Bioantropología's Canary Institute and the Museum of Natural Sciences of Tenerife. The museum is located in the downtown area of Santa Cruz, in the former Civil Hospital, a building that constitutes an example of the neoclassical architecture of Canary Islands. The archaeological section was founded in 1958. The museum holds the largest collection on the culture of the Guanche and also has one of the most modern methods of presentation of mummies, (announced in 2006 by the Cabildo de Tenerife through a communique). It is also an internationally renowned museum and has participated in international meetings on archeology, but its fame is mainly due to its formidable collection of Guanche mummies. It is also regarded as the most important museum of Macaronesia.

The Mummy of San Andrés is a human mummy belonging to the Guanche culture, who were the ancient inhabitants of the Canary Islands, Spain. It is one of the best preserved Guanche mummies, and is one of the few that has a proper name, Mummy of San Andrés. The appellation refers to the place where the male specimen was discovered, similar to how the mummies of the swamps in northern Europe were named after local toponyms (Lindow Man, Grauballe Man and Tollund Man, among others).

The Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Spanish: 'Puerto de Santa Cruz de Tenerife') in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, is used by fishing boats, commercial and passenger ships, and sports. Located on the Atlantic Ocean, it is managed by the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, who also manage all commercial and leisure ports of the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (El Hierro, La Gomera, La Palma and Tenerife islands). Next to this port is the famous building of the Auditorio de Tenerife. The Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the most important of the Canary Islands ports in terms of passengers, as 23% of passenger transport by sea of the islands is through this port. Apart from hosting interisland ferry connections, the Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is a staging post of numerous shipping lines, linking it with the main ports in Europe, Africa and America. The Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife stretches from the fishing dock of San Andrés until muelle de Hondura, with an area of about twelve kilometers, this makes the port more extension of the Canary Islands. In 2016, the Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife was included among the three major ports in the world for cruise traffic by Seatrade Cruise Med. It shares this consideration with the Port of Southampton (UK) and the cruise terminal Kai Tak, the Port of Hong Kong (China). For its part, in 2023 a report prepared by the World Bank and S&P Global ranked the Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife as the third most efficient in Spain (after Algeciras and Barcelona) and ninth in Europe.
