Yishun

Yishun MRT station is an above-ground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the North South line (NSL) in Yishun, Singapore. The station is located at the junction of Yishun Avenue 2 and Yishun Avenue 5, and is currently one of the two MRT stations that serve Yishun New Town; the other being Khatib station. Yishun station was the terminus of the NSL upon its completion on 20 December 1988, until the Woodlands Extension of the NSL was completed and opened on 10 February 1996.

GV Yishun, formerly Yishun 10, is Asia's first multiplex.

Yishun Public Library (Simplified Chinese: 义顺社区图书馆), is a public library located in Yishun in the northern region of Singapore, initially opened on 26 February 1998. It serves areas such as Yishun, Seletar, Ang Mo Kio and Kebun Baru planning areas. Formerly situated in the third level of the Sembawang Town Council building at Block 290 Yishun Street 22, Singapore 760290, it was closed on 23 October 2008 and reopened to the public on 14 November that year, currently within the fourth level of Northpoint City's new extension and closer to Yishun MRT station. The new location has an area of 2000 square metres and has a collection of 150,000 books, 7500 for each section and has a Cafe Galilee which the old location lacked. The cafe was later removed in 2014. On 15 January 2017, Yishun Public Library was closed for renovation due to the effect of refurbishment and Asset Enhancement Initiative (AEI) at Northpoint. It was then reopened on 3 February 2018.

Northpoint City (formerly known as Northpoint Shopping Centre) is a suburban shopping mall in Yishun, Singapore. The mall houses the North Park Residences condominium, Nee Soon Central Community Club, Yishun Public Library and Yishun Bus Interchange. It was first built in 1992, and was renovated and expanded in 2010. It underwent a second renovation and expansion in 2017. It is currently the largest shopping mall in northern Singapore. The centre has a combined net lettable area of 500,000 sq ft (46,000 m2) and has more than 400 tenants.

Yishun Bus Interchange is located in northern Singapore, integrated with Northpoint City. The interchange is part of the Yishun Integrated Transport Hub (ITH), which opened on 8 September 2019. Before this interchange, the original bus interchange was in operation from 23 August 1987 to 13 March 2015. Operations were transferred to a temporary site on 14 March 2015 for the construction of Yishun Integrated Transport Hub (ITH), and eventually closed on 7 September 2019.

Yishun Pond Park (or Yishun Pond) is an urban park located at Yishun, Singapore. It is situated along Yishun Central in front of Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and connects the residential areas to Yishun MRT station and Northpoint Shopping Centre. The park features a large pond that serves as a recreational spot for residents and doubles as a water catchment area. Water from the pond is used in the irrigation system of Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.The park was renovated in 2006 and is linked to Yishun Park via an 84-meter elevated bridge.

Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (Abbreviation: KTPH) is a 795-bed general and acute care hospital located at Yishun in Singapore. Named after Singaporean hotelier, Khoo Teck Puat, the hospital is part of an integrated development together with the adjoining Yishun Community Hospital. The hospital was officially opened by Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew on 15 November 2010, but began seeing outpatients and day surgery patients on 28 March that year. Spanning over 3.5 hectares (8.6 acres) in the Yishun Central Area overlooking the scenic Yishun Pond. The hospital offers an extensive range of medical services and healthcare options for residents living in the north. As of October 2017, KTPH merged with the National Healthcare Group and is now known as Yishun Health, together with Yishun Community Hospital and Admiralty Medical Centre.

The Yishun Community Hospital (Abbreviation: YCH) is a 428-bed community hospital in Yishun, Singapore. It is part of an integrated healthcare development that includes the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (abbreviated to KTPH).

The Darul Makmur Mosque (Malay: Masjid Darul Makmur) is a mosque located at Yishun Avenue 2 in Yishun, Singapore. It was constructed in the early 1980s.

The Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea is a Roman Catholic church in Singapore and comes under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Singapore. The church is located at Yishun Street 22.

Yishun Innova Junior College (YIJC) is one of the 14 junior colleges in Singapore, offering two-year pre-university programmes for students who graduate from secondary schools after their O-level examinations. The two-year A-Level programme prepares students for education in local or foreign universities.

Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary School (AISS) is a co-educational government secondary school in Singapore. Founded in 1962, it was the second integrated school to be established in Singapore.The school is named after Ahmad Ibrahim, Singapore's first Health Minister who was remembered for "garnering the support of all races at a time when communal relations were sensitive and volatile".
