Wayne Hills High School

Van Riper–Hopper House is located in Wayne, Passaic County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1786 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 21, 1972. The house is home to the Wayne Township Museum.

The Mead–Van Duyne House is a historic stone house that was originally located at 636 Fairfield Road in the Mountain View section of the township of Wayne in Passaic County, New Jersey. The oldest section of the house dates to 1706. It is the second oldest surviving Dutch stone house in the county. It was documented by the Historic American Buildings Survey in 1938. Listed as the William Klein property, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 12, 1971, for its significance in architecture, military history, and religion/philosophy. In 1974, the building was relocated to 543 Berdan Avenue, next to the Van Riper–Hopper House, as part of the Wayne Museum. It was renominated as the Van Duyne House in 1976. It was relisted on the state register on March 15, 1976. The property was withdrawn from the NRHP on December 15, 1976.

North Jersey Valkyries was an American women’s soccer team, founded in 2009 based in Wayne, New Jersey, United States. The team was a member of the United Soccer Leagues W-League and United Women's Soccer. The team's home field was on the grounds of DePaul Catholic High School. They played their last season in 2016 as the TSF Academy Valkyries,

DePaul Catholic High School is a private, Roman Catholic, high school in Wayne, in Passaic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, that operates under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Paterson. The school is accredited by AdvancED.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 465 students and 33.4 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.9:1. The school's student body was 43.0% (200) White, 21.5% (100) Black, 21.5% (65) Hispanic and 14% (65) Asian.

The Ice Vault Arena (formerly named Capital One Ice Vault Arena and North Fork Ice Vault Arena) is a 600-seat multi-purpose arena in Wayne, New Jersey. Built in 2003, it is home to the Jersey Hitmen of the United States Premier Hockey League and the William Paterson University Pioneers of the American Collegiate Hockey Association's Super East Collegiate Hockey League. In the fall of 2011, it became home to the New Jersey Outlaws of the Federal Hockey League for one season, before the team moved to Williamsport, Pennsylvania.Public skating, and stick and puck hours of operation vary based upon events scheduled. The arena also has a cafe, pro shop, and a pub called, "In The Crease Sports Pub". It formerly had an arcade. By the mid-2010s, Capital One bought the naming rights of the arena, making it Capital One Ice Vault Arena.

The Christos M. Cotsakos College of Business is the business school of William Paterson University, Wayne, New Jersey, United States. The college is accredited in business and accounting by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). It is one of 14 business schools in New Jersey that are accredited. The college has six academic departments - Accounting, Finance, Professional Sales, Management, Marketing, and Global Business.The college has received accreditation from AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. It is one of 500 business schools worldwide that are accredited by AACSB International. The E*TRADE Financial Learning Center, one of the few trading rooms found in an academic environment, is the hub of all electronic business information exchange and analysis for the college. The college is housed in the 1600 Valley Road building. Seminars and forums, such as the Business Leaders’ Symposium, the Finance Symposium, and the Enterprise Case Study Competition are held there. It was named in May 2001 as the "Christos M. Cotsakos College of Business" in honor of Dr. Christos M. Cotsakos, former E*TRADE CEO and alumnus.

Point View Dam (National ID # NJ00236) is a dam in Wayne, Passaic County, New Jersey. The earthen gravity dam was constructed in 1964 to impound the water of Haycock Brook for municipal drinking water. It is 55 feet high with a length of 1100 feet at its crest. Both dam and reservoir are owned and operated by the Passaic Valley Water Commission, and stands as the largest of the Commission's four reservoirs. In 2009 it was slated for a state-funded restoration costing several million dollars.The reservoir it creates, Point View Reservoir, has a water surface area of 465 acres, a maximum capacity of 10,450 acre-feet, and a normal capacity of 8590 acre-feet. Fishing requires a permit from the Passaic Valley Water Commission.

Wayne is a township in Passaic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Home to William Paterson University and located less than 20 miles (32 km) from Midtown Manhattan, the township is a bedroom suburb of New York City and regional commercial hub of North Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 54,838, an increase of 121 (+0.2%) from the 2010 census count of 54,717, which in turn reflected an increase of 648 (+1.2%) from the 54,069 counted in the 2000 census.Wayne was formed as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on April 12, 1847, from portions of Manchester Township. Totowa was formed from portions of Wayne and Manchester Township on March 15, 1898. The Vivekananda Vidyapith Academy of Indian Philosophy and Culture is a school in Wayne, New Jersey. It is a non-profitable organization created in 1976 that teaches Sanskrit; Indian & Hindu Philosophy; teaches the life of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda; and more to grades Kindergarten to 12. Vivekananda Vidyapith takes its philosophical inspiration from Swami Vivekananda, a nineteenth and early twentieth-century teacher and explorer of Vedanta, or Indian philosophy. The Vidyapith’s closest sister organization is the Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Center in New York City.

Neumann Preparatory School (known familiarly as Neumann Prep) was a private, Catholic college-preparatory school located in Wayne, New Jersey, within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Paterson. It was founded as The Blessed John Neumann Preparatory Seminary in 1965. In 1970 Neumann was designated a Preparatory School and was all-male until the 1974–1975 academic year. The school was named for Saint John Neumann. Neumann Prep closed at the end of the 1989–1990 academic year. Since then the campus has been the site of a Montessori school and the Lakeview Learning Center. The current tenants are the Al-Ghazaly High School. The site is also headquarters of TSF Academy, a well respected soccer academy in Northern New Jersey. The property was owned by the Diocese of Paterson.

Van Houten–Ackerman House, is located in Franklin Lakes, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1768 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 9, 1983.

The Storms House is located at 1069 Franklin Lake Road in the borough of Franklin Lakes in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The historic stone house was built around 1750–1770 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 24, 1984, for its significance in architecture and exploration/settlement. It was listed as part of the Early Stone Houses of Bergen County Multiple Property Submission (MPS). The one and one-half story house features a gable roof. William Storms owned it in 1861.
