Daedeok District

Hannam University (한남대학교) is a private Christian university in Daejeon, South Korea. It was founded in 1956 by American missionaries of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Courses are offered in Korean and English.

Bomoon High School is located in Sam-Sung-Dong, Daejeon, in South Korea. The school shares its grounds with Bomoon Middle School. It is not too far from the old downtown area of the city. Bomoon High School is a private school and the only Buddhist school in the city. The school’s motto is "Be true. Be of use. To the end". The school is symbolized by the juniper tree and the magnolia flower. There are various clubs at the school, for instance, Paramita which sees its members participate in religious activities, a literature studies club, and there is a Chinese literature research society. It was built on September 25, 1946 by Jeon Se-Jin. From only six classes in 1953, the number increased to 18 by 1970. Then, in 1984, a sisterhood relationship with Nagoya-Odani High School in Japan was established. Throughout the 1990s, the school continued to be developed as it increased in size. By the end of 1991, there were 30 classes in total. The main hall and the Buddhist sanctuary were completed on November 24, 1995. It also opened its library which has 208 seats on August 7, 1997, and a multipurpose room on February 2, 2005. The school currently has 36 classes.

The Daejeoncheon is a national river of South Korea within the Geum River system, and one of the three major rivers (including Gapcheon and Yudeungcheon) that flow through Daejeon metropolitan city. The river originates within Daejeon, at Mr. Manin and Mt. Bipa, approximately 15km (9 mi) to the south of the city center, and flows to the north through the city's old downtown, dividing the districts of Jung-gu and Dong-gu, before merging with the Yudeongcheon river.

Eulji University is a private healthcare and medical research university in South Korea with campuses in Seongnam City, Gyeonggi Province, and in central Daejeon. The school was established by Dr. Park Jun-yeong and the Eulji Educational Foundation, which grew out of the Eulji Hospital that opened in 1981.

Asia LIFE University also known as Gospel Theological Seminary is a Christian university in Daejeon, Korea. Asia LIFE University is based on the foundations of the Pentecostal and evangelical theology with emphasis on the Four Square Gospel of salvation, Spirit-baptism, healing and return of Christ. Gospel Theological Seminary, as it was known before, strives to educate Christian leaders who are dedicated to the evangelical ministry.

SolBridge International School of Business is a private non profit AACSB accredited business school in Daejeon, South Korea, established by Woosong University in March 2007.

Jungangno Station (Korean: 중앙로역; Hanja: 中央路驛) is a station of Daejeon Metro Line 1 in Eunhang-dong, Jung District, Daejeon, South Korea. This structure is the same as that of the metropolitan area train line 1 in Lee Moon-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul. In other words, it is the same as that of the island-style platform. As a result, it looks like a mixed type, but it is a two-sided two-wire type. Platform safety screen doors have been installed. It is located between Daejeon Station and Jung-gu Office Station of Daejeon Urban Railway Line 1. It is 4.0 kilometres (2.5 mi) away from Panam. It is connected with Daejeon station which is a train station, and there are many passengers with convenient transportation.
