Sandsfoot Castle

Sandsfoot Castle Halt was a small railway station on the Portland Branch Railway between Weymouth and Portland in Dorset.

Castle Cove, also known as Sandsfoot Cove, is a small secluded sand beach to the west of Weymouth, in Dorset, southern England. It is in the parish of Wyke Regis, close to that village but closer to Sandsfoot Castle, one of Henry VIII's Device Forts, built around 1541 opposite its contemporary Portland Castle to protect Portland Roads (principally Weymouth Harbour). It is privately owned, but has remained open to the public and is a favourite spot for swimming, sailing, snorkelling and diving.Above the beach to one side is the Castle Cove Sailing Club; this began in a clifftop chalet in 1923; it moved to its larger base in 2002. As at 2014 it has over 450 members.

Rodwell was a small railway station on the Portland Branch Railway in the west of the English county of Dorset.

Portland House is a 20th-century detached house, located at Weymouth, Dorset, England. It is found in the area known as Bincleaves, overlooking Portland Harbour. The house, built in 1935, is now in the care of the National Trust, who lets the building as a holiday cottage.Portland House became a Grade II listed building in 2001. It is one of the "very few remaining examples" of a house with a Hollywood Spanish design. Historic England have described the house as a "complete and well designed example of a 1930s Mediterranean villa style house".

Wyke Regis Halt was a small railway station on the Portland Branch Railway in the west of the English county of Dorset. Opened in July 1909, it was part of a scheme that saw several halts opened on the GWR with services provided by Railmotors to counter road competition. The station closed with the branch in 1952.

Portwey Hospital is a former workhouse and hospital located at Weymouth, Dorset, England. Originally built in the 1830s as the Weymouth Union workhouse, it later became Portwey Hospital in the 1930s. After closing in 1987, the building was transformed during the 1990s into the housing development known as Union Court. Built of Portland stone, the former hospital became a Grade II listed building in 1974. English Heritage, in their survey of the building, described it as "somewhat austere, but retains externally much of the early fabric and detail". They added: "to the street it has a simple dignity, enhanced by the economical use of Portland stone".

Belfield House is an 18th-century country house, located in Wyke Regis, Weymouth, Dorset, England. Built around 1775-80 of stone and yellow brick in a late classical design, the house has four Ionic columns at its entrance. It originally had its own extensive parkland of thirteen acres, however much of it was built-over during 20th-century development. Belfield House became a Grade II* listed building in 1953. Belfield's former coach-house and stables have also been Grade II listed since 1974. They have now been converted into three residences.

Weymouth Old Town Hall is a former town hall at Weymouth, Dorset, England. The building, which was built with Portland stone in the 1770s, has been Grade II listed since 1953. The bell turret is believed to date from the 17th century. Since 2009, the hall has been operated for community use by the Guardians of the Old Town Hall.

St Martin's Church is a former Church of England church in Weymouth, Dorset, England. It was designed by Charles Edwin Ponting and built in 1907–08. The church was declared redundant in 1965 and now forms eight flats as St Martin's Court.

Holy Trinity Church is a Church of England church in Weymouth, Dorset, England. Built of Portland stone in 1834–36, and extended and re-oriented in 1886–87, the church is a Grade II* listed building. Designed by Philip Wyatt, it has been described as being of "intrinsic architectural interest", having an "unusual scheme of development" and "occupying a significant position on the axis of Weymouth's Town Bridge".

All Saints Church of England Academy (formerly All Saints Church of England School) is a coeducational secondary school located in Wyke Regis in the English county of Dorset.It is a Church of England school within the Diocese of Salisbury. Previously a voluntary aided school administered by Dorset Council, in June 2019 All Saints Church of England School converted to academy status and was renamed All Saints Church of England Academy. The school is now sponsored by the Ambitions Academy Trust. All Saints Church of England Academy offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils. The school also offers a range of extra-curricular activities including the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

Weymouth Town Bridge is a lifting bascule bridge in Weymouth, Dorset, England, connecting the formerly separate boroughs of Weymouth and Melcombe Regis. The bridge can be lifted to allow boats access to the inner backwater of Weymouth Harbour, known as Weymouth Marina. The bridge, opened in 1930, is the sixth to have been built across the harbour since 1597 and has been Grade II Listed since 1997. Today, the hydraulically-operated bridge is raised every two hours, 363 days of the year.
