St Johns Shopping Centre is the largest covered shopping centre in the city of Liverpool, located in the heart of the city since 1969 and home to more than 100 retailers. The precinct is also home to a contemporary St John's Market which has a history dating back to the original 1822 St. John's Market, although the current market was opened to the public by Queen Elizabeth II in April 1971.All businesses located in St Johns Shopping Centre are members of City Central, a Business Improvement District (BID) representing approximately 630 businesses in the retail and leisure heart of Liverpool city centre.

St. John's Market was a municipal retail market hall in Liverpool, England, housed in a purpose-designed building erected between 1820 and 1822 to a design by John Foster, Junior. It quickly came to be seen as a model for market halls erected elsewhere in the UK in the 19th century. The north and south facades of the building were altered in 1881 and 1891; it was demolished in 1964, making way for the 1969 St Johns Shopping Centre, the western half of which occupies the hall's site.

Radio City Tower (also known as St. John's Beacon) is a radio and observation tower in Liverpool, England, built in 1969 and opened by Queen Elizabeth II. It was designed by James A. Roberts Associates in Birmingham. It is 138 metres tall, and is the second tallest free-standing building in Liverpool and the 32nd tallest in the United Kingdom. When considering the height of the building, it has a 10m long antenna on the roof, making it the tallest structure in Liverpool (including antennas). As testament to the importance of its design, which was described by Historic England as “embodying the technological bravura and spirit of the space age”, the building was listed at Grade II in November 2020.The tower takes its name from the main radio station that operates from it, Radio City and its sister station Greatest Hits Radio Liverpool & The North West.

Radio City Talk (previously City Talk 105.9) was an Independent Local Radio station in Liverpool, England. In May 2020, it was announced by Bauer that Radio City Talk would cease broadcasting, after concluding that the station was no longer financially viable to run.The station ceased broadcasting on 1 June 2020 at 00:06.

The monument to the King's Liverpool Regiment is a war memorial in St John's Gardens in the city centre of Liverpool, England. The memorial commemorates those members of the King's Regiment (Liverpool) who lost their lives on campaign in the Second Anglo-Afghan War (1878–1880), the Third Anglo-Burmese War (1885–1887) and the Second Boer War (1899–1902). It was funded by a public subscription and with the support of the Corporation of Liverpool. It was unveiled on 4 August 1905 by Field Marshal Sir George White. The monument is a rare example of a large-scale public regimental memorial from the pre-First World War era. Its central figure is that of Britannia with other statues showing soldiers of the regiment in 1685, 1743 and 1902.

St John's Gardens is an open space in Liverpool, England, to the west of St George's Hall. The gardens are part of the William Brown Street conservation area, and comprise one of the two open spaces within Liverpool's World Heritage Site. It has been a Green Flag site since 2003. The gardens contain ornamental flower beds, and memorials to notable people of the city.

Liverpool Biennial is the largest international contemporary art festival in the United Kingdom.Every two years, the city of Liverpool hosts an extensive range of artworks, projects, and a programme of events. The biennial commissions leading and emerging artists to make and present permanent and temporary public artworks, as well as long-term community-based projects. These newly commissioned and existing artworks are presented in diverse locations, including unusual public spaces, unused buildings, as well as the city's galleries, museums, and cultural venues. Cultural organisations in Liverpool provide context for the presentation of contemporary art and culture. Since its launch in 1999, Liverpool Biennial has commissioned over 300 new artworks and presented work by over 444 artists from around the world. During the last 10 years, Liverpool Biennial has had an economic impact of £119.6 million. Liverpool Biennial 2014 attracted nearly 877,000 visits.

The Liverpool Playhouse is a theatre in Williamson Square in the city of Liverpool, England. It originated in 1866 as a music hall, and in 1911 developed into a repertory theatre. As such it nurtured the early careers of many actors and actresses, some of whom went on to achieve national and international reputations. Architectural changes have been made to the building over the years, the latest being in 1968 when a modern-style extension was added to the north of the theatre. In 1999 a trust was formed, joining the management of the Playhouse with that of the Everyman Theatre.

St George's Hall is a building on St George's Place, opposite Lime Street railway station in the centre of Liverpool, England. Opened in 1854, it is a Neoclassical building which contains concert halls and law courts, and is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. On the east side of the hall, between it and the railway station, is St George's Plateau and on the west side are St John's Gardens. The hall is included in the William Brown Street conservation area.In 1969 the architectural historian Nikolaus Pevsner expressed his opinion that it is one of the finest neo-Grecian buildings in the world, although the building is known for its use of Roman sources as well as Greek. In 2004, the hall and its surrounding area were recognised as part of Liverpool's World Heritage Site until its revocation of World Heritage status in 2021. The Liverpool Register Office and Coroner's Court have been based in the hall since 2012.
