Oberschneiding is a municipality in the district of Straubing-Bogen in Bavaria, Germany. It is located in the south of the "Gäuboden", a very high-producing area famous for its agriculture. Today's municipality of Oberschneiding consists of 31 villages formerly organized in five different municipalities (Grossenpinning, Niederschneiding, Oberschneiding, Reissing and Wolferkofen). The biggest town and seat of the municipality is Oberschneiding.

St. Peter's Church, Straubing

St. Peter's Church, Straubing, is a Romanesque basilica in Straubing, Germany. It was built in the second half of the 12th century, and is distinguished by its two sculpted portals. The surrounding graveyard contains a number of funeral chapels, most notably the Totenkapelle, which is decorated with a cycle of paintings depicting the Totentanz (Dance of the Dead) by the Rococo artist Felix Hözl.

Strasskirchen Solar Park

The Strasskirchen Solar Park is a large photovoltaic power station in Bavaria, with an installed capacity of 54 MW. It was developed by a joint venture of MEMC and Q-Cells in 2009.
