Vale of Ewyas

St David's Church is a medieval structure at Llanthony Priory. Established as a church in the sixteenth century, and restored in the late nineteenth century, the church became a Grade I-listed building on 1 September 1956.

Court Farmhouse, Llanthony, Monmouthshire is a farmhouse of late medieval origins. It may have originally been lodgings for the Prior of Llanthony. Following the Dissolution of the Monasteries the building became a farmhouse. In the 19th century, the Llanthony Estate was bought by Walter Savage Landor who undertook remodelling. The farmhouse is Grade II* listed, with the adjacent barn, Court Farm Barn, having a separate Grade I listing.

Abbey Hotel (also known as the Llanthony Priory Hotel) is a Grade I listed building incorporating a hotel and country inn in Llanthony, Monmouthshire, Wales.

Llanthony Priory (Welsh: Priordy Llanddewi Nant Hodni) is a partly ruined former Augustinian priory in the secluded Vale of Ewyas, a steep-sided once-glaciated valley within the Black Mountains area of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Monmouthshire, south east Wales. It lies seven miles north of Abergavenny on an old road to Hay-on-Wye at Llanthony. The priory ruins lie to the west of the prominent Hatterrall Ridge, a limb of the Black mountains. The main ruins are under the care of Cadw and entrance is free. The priory is a Grade I listed building as of 1 September 1956. Within the precincts of the Priory are three other buildings with Grade I listed status: the Abbey Hotel, listed on 1 September 1956; St David's Church, listed on the same date, and Court Farm Barn, listed on 9 January in the same year.

Court Farm Barn, Llanthony Priory, Monmouthshire, is a barn of late medieval origins that forms part of a group of historic buildings in the priory complex. It is a Grade I listed building.

Cwm Bwchel Farmhouse, Llanthony, Monmouthshire is a farmhouse dating from the late-Medieval period. It carries a date stone of 1694, which probably refers to a period of reconstruction. The farmhouse is Grade II* listed and a number of the ancillary buildings on the farmstead have their own Grade II listings.

Llanthony ( Welsh pronunciation: [ɬanˈtoːniː], Welsh: Llanddewi Nant Honddu) is a village in the community of Crucorney on the northern edge of Monmouthshire, South East Wales, United Kingdom.

Hatterrall Hill (Welsh: Mynydd Y Gader) is a rounded peak in the Black Mountains which sits on the Wales-England border, partly in Monmouthshire, Wales and partly in Herefordshire, England. Its summit at 531m is the high point of a peaty plateau which falls away steeply on all sides. Broad ridges run to the north, the southeast and southwest. To the north the ridge (known as Hatterrall Ridge) dips to a col at around 485m elevation before rising gradually over several kilometres towards Crib y Garth / Black Hill and Hay Bluff. The ridge to the southwest ends abruptly at the sheer cliff known as the Darren below which is a considerable landslip area extending south to the hamlet of Cwmyoy with its mis-shapen church. The Welsh part of the hill falls within the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Crucorney Welsh: Crucornau is a community in the county of Monmouthshire, Wales. It is the northernmost community in the county and covers the villages of Llanvihangel Crucorney, Pandy, Cwmyoy and Llanthony amongst others. The Vale of Ewyas comprises much of the northern part of the community, with the River Honddu running through Llanthony and Llanvihangel Crucorney, before turning northeast passing Pandy towards the River Monnow. The 2011 population was 1,201.Notable landmarks include Llanthony Priory, a Grade I listed former Augustinian priory at Llanthony. Offa's Dyke Path runs along the border between Crucorney and the English county of Herefordshire. The community also has a voluntary group, The Crucorney Environmental Group, which oversees environmental and sustainability issues, including sustainable development, recycling and litter picking.

Ty-Hwnt-y-Bwlch Farmhouse, (Welsh: translation - The house near the pass), Cwmyoy, Monmouthshire is a farmhouse in the north of the county dating from the late 16th century. Located on the hillside above the Church of St Martin, it is a Grade II* listed building.

Ty-mawr Farmhouse, Ffwthog, Cwmyoy, Monmouthshire, is a farmhouse dating from the early 16th century, which was extended in the 17th century and then reduced in size in the 18th century. The farmhouse is a Grade II* listed building, with its range of barns and its bee shelter having separate Grade II listed building designations.

The Church of St Martin, Cwmyoy, Monmouthshire, Wales, was begun in the 12th century, although most of the current structure dates from the 13th century. The church is most notable for its extreme tilt, the result of a landslide. This has led to many attempts to strengthen the church and prevent its collapse, through the use of massive tie beams and buttresses. The church is in the Gothic style, and has a chancel, nave, south porch, and western tower. A round-headed north window dates to the 12th century, and the nave roof has been dated to the late 13th or early 14th century. St Martin's is a Grade I listed building and an active parish church. It is dedicated to St Martin of Tours.
