Østhorn (station)

Tåsen is a station on the Sognsvann Line (line 5) of the Oslo Metro in Oslo, Norway. The station is located between Berg and Østhorn stations and is 6.8 kilometres (4.2 mi) from Stortinget. As one of the original stations on the line, Tåsen was opened on 10 October 1934. The station was moved 150 metres (490 ft) north in the 1990s, when the line was upgraded from light rail (with overhead wires) to rapid transit standard (third rail). In 1992, a fatal accident occurred when a T1300 train collided with a snow plowing car ahead of the station. The station is located near a bridge over the circumferential highway Ring 3 and the roundabout of the Tåsen road intersection. The area around Tåsen is mainly residential, and there is a small shopping centre named Tåsen senter near the station.

Korsvoll is an area in the borough Nordre Aker in Oslo, Norway. The area is located between the areas Brekke and Nordberg, northwest of the old industrial area Nydalen. The area borders on the forest area Nordmarka, and is a popular residential area for families. The local sports club is Korsvoll IL. The local school is Korsvoll primary school, placed close to the forest area.

Berg is a neighbourhood in the west side of Oslo. It is located in the borough Nordre Aker, and is surrounded by the neighbourhoods Nordberg in the north, Tåsen in the east and Ullevål Hageby in the southwest. Berg is named after an abandoned farm with the same name. Berg is mainly a residential area, and is served by the station Berg on the Sognsvann Line.

Bakkehaugen Church is a church, located in the neighborhood of Tåsen in Oslo, Norway.In 1938, an architectural competition was announced. This was won by architect Ove Bang. The construction of the church was delayed due to World War II and lack of funding. The winning draft was reworked by architect Erling Viksjø before his death in 1942. The construction of the church started in the late 1950s. The church was consecrated by bishop Johannes Smemo on December 20, 1959.The church building has been awarded the architectural prize Betongtavlen for outstanding construction in concrete. The building is a typical representative of its time.The church is built in natural concrete and has a boathouse shape (Triangle). It has a freestanding bell tower. The facility also houses offices and parish halls. The church was somewhat expanded in 1994, and the church gained new copper roofs in 1999.The decorations in the church room are done by Kai Fjell og Carl Nesjar.The church is listed by the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage and protected by Norwegian law.

Nordberg is a neighbourhood in Nordre Aker in Oslo, the capital of Norway. From 1934 to 1992 it was served by Nordberg Station on the Sognsvann Line, but is now served by Østhorn and Holstein on the same line.

Nordberg was a station on the Sognsvann Line of the Oslo Metro in Oslo, Norway. It was opened on 10 October 1934, and was located between Østhorn and Holstein stations, in a level crossing with the steep road Borgestadveien. The station saw several accidents, and was closed on 5 May 1992 when the Sognsvann Line was upgraded to rapid transit standard. An underpass was constructed to allow pedestrians pass under the tracks.

Located between Ullevål stadion and Tåsen stations, it is the first station after the Ring Line leaves the Sognsvann Line. The station is located 6.1 kilometres (3.8 mi) from Stortinget station. Berg is amongst the original stations on the line, and was opened on 10 October 1934. It was upgraded and rebuilt in the 1990s, when the Sognsvann Line was upgraded from light rail to rapid transit standard. Three accidents have taken place at Berg station, the latest in 2008. The area around the station is mainly residential. Berg Upper Secondary School is located approximately 100 metres (330 ft) from the station.

Korsvollbanen is the home ground of the Norwegian sports club Korsvoll IL. The club is in the residential neighborhood of Korsvoll in Nordre Aker, Oslo. The stadium capacity is 2000. There are 200 seats in a small wooden stand on one side of the park. The site also has some small training pitches on the north side near the clubhouse. The club has installed an all-weather field.

Nordberg Church is a hexagonal church, located in the neighbourhood of Nordberg in Oslo, Norway.The church was completed in 1962 and was restored and expanded with a church parlor in 1982. The facade is in white bricks and has a characteristic church tower which can be seen from large parts of the city of Oslo. It is one of the largest churches in the city.The altar tapestry, The Resurrection is made by Kari-Bjørg Ile. It came into place in 1992. The pulpit and the baptismal font are made according to the architects' drawings. The current church organ from 2015 is a digital organ of the type Johannus Monarke Präludium.There are two church bells from Olsen Nauen Bell Foundry in the church tower.Outside the church is a log house, a former chapel used for the church's nursery.The church is listed by the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage and protected by Norwegian law.
